Our son had a duplication cyst located in the bowel that was enlarging and without intervention would cause a bowel obstruction and other issues. We were referred to Dr. Seifarth and we are so glad that he was our son’s surgeon. He has a pleasant demeanor, with a compassionate bedside manner. He helped us walk through the diagnosis and what surgery entailed. He and his team were so caring and thoughtful; they called us at different stages during his surgery to update us, which helped soothe our nerves. His surgery was a little more complex involving his appendix and an obstruction that had started in the small intestine. This made the surgery take extra time but Dr. Seifarth was not phased by it at all. He explained everything to us so well. We were confident in his care. Post-Op Dr. Seifarth and his team were available for questions and were prompt with returning calls. He and his team really made the whole process the best that it could be. We are so grateful!

Dr. Seifarth performed her surgery using the tiniest single incision around her bellybutton so that she has almost no scar! He saw her every single day in the hospital, often twice a day, to update us on her plan of care and to let us know how she was doing. We wouldn't choose to ever go through this again, but if we had to we would always hope Dr. Seifarth was available for it!

Excellent bedside manners, caring, patient, attentive, considerate, kind, professional, I could keep going on and on. Both of my sons had surgeries this year 1 at 17 days old and the other at 3 months and one of my sons has 2 more surgeries this year and Dr seifarth his staff guided and helped us go through this very difficult time. My 3 year old son was treated at Montana Children’s for an emergency appendectomy this past summer of 2020. We could not have been happier with the care we received from his surgeon, Dr Seifarth, and all the nurses and staff at the hospital. Dr. Seifarth was not only a very skilled surgeon but he showed such compassion and care for my son through this scary experience and made him laugh through it all. No parent wants to be in a situation where their child needs emergency care, but it made me so grateful for the skilled and caring doctors and nurses who do amazing things for our kids everyday. We can’t thank you all enough! Also, the facility is amazing, brand new, so many great amenities and touches to make your child feel safe and comfortable. Dr. Seifarth went above and beyond for our daughters surgery. We couldn't be more happy with him and his team before, during and after the surgery. He checked in on her everyday post surgery that we were in the hospital, even on his days off. He even followed up with text messages once we got home to ensure she was doing well. He explains things thoroughly and in layman's terms as well as draws accurate representations so you can visualize the procedure. He is truly one of a kind and I would travel across the country if I had to in order for him to be the Dr for any of my kids!

Both of our teenage boys developed pectus carinatum during their rapid growth spurts. Living in Montana, we figured we would have to travel out of state to consult about surgery versus bracing. Our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Siefarth in Kalispell, MT and we immediately knew how lucky we were upon meeting him. He is incredibly knowledgeable about chest wall deformities and presented us with options. He began by gaining our trust by explaining the entire outline of how the brace works and relayed his experiences with successful outcomes. Dr. Siefarth was very honest about the emotional and physical impacts wearing the brace can have. Through the process, he and his outstanding staff have always been available to answer any questions while following up on concerns with exceptional recommendations. We highly recommend him and are so pleased with the results.

From a 10-year-old patient: The surgery was good and I didn’t feel anything! Dr. Seifarth was so nice and he let me eat anything I wanted after the surgery. It was the best...pudding, popsicles, applesauce and even pie! Surgery isn’t so scary if you have a good doctor. They all did a good job and I feel a lot better.

After our son was born with a rare liver disease, it was a relief to find out that such specialized care existed in our state. From the second Dr. Seifarth walked into the room, he explained everything in great detail (and such detail that we could actually understand!). We never felt like he was rushed when he was speaking with us and he always entertained all of our questions with professionalism and care. The initial surgery and biopsy done by Dr. Seifarth went well and we appreciated his use of minimally invasive techniques. When our son had to be transferred to a larger facility for more advanced care, we wished that we could have brought Dr. Seifarth and all the staff at Montana Children’s with us, as we were nothing but impressed by them. Dr Seifarth was also amazing in going above and beyond by personally following up with us on multiple occasions after we were discharged. This made us feel like he really cared about our son and that he wasn’t just another patient on the table.

For starters my 9 year old was faced with some scary, unforeseen medical challenges. We went into the ER thinking it was only the flu. After alot of guessing and mother melt downs they sent us to Dr Seifarth which was the best thing that could have possibly happened to our family.....we were sent to Kalispell with out a clue what this emergency surgery was even about. Unknowing the true extent of what was about to happen. For all we knew our little girl was about to get sliced open. When we arrived and met the dr all my worries went away. He didnt only explain to me what was going on and how he would fix it he also explained it to her so she fully felt comfortable! That was the true beauty of this man.... it is 100% about the kids and making a rough time alot better. The staff was AMAZING and there was alot more laughing than crying! I would take all of my girls there over and over because of the most incredible visit we could of hoped for. We appreciate you and your staff so much Dr!

Dr Seifarth has been an incredible doctor/surgeon to work with. He put us immediately at ease from our first visit on. We did not have to wonder how anything was going to happen because he was so thorough in explaining every detail of my son's diagnosis, treatment plan, and surgery. It was truly an answer to prayer to be referred to him for our son's care.

Dr. Seifarth is an incredible surgeon and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. Our six week old needed a surgery, and at our first meeting, I couldn’t think of any questions to ask because he was so thorough in explaining and drawing out exactly what would happen in my baby’s surgery. The day of the surgery, he came out before, immediately after, and another time before we left. I was blown away not only by his work, but also by his patience and desire to make sure our concerns and needs as parents were met. I would highly recommend Dr. Seifarth to anyone!

After a poor experience with another facility out of state, we met with Dr. Seifarth. We were nervous about staying in our home state of Montana due to fear of lack of services. Once we met with Dr. Seifarth, our fears were put to rest. His bedside manner, ability to communicate, and willingness to answer all of our questions put us at ease. He walked us through the Nuss Procedure for our 15 year old son step-by-step. He prepared our son on what to expect and how to mentally prepare. He followed up consistently for the the first 6 weeks, checking in on how our son was healing. He was always available! We are so blessed to have someone of his caliber working in Montana! He is amazing!

Dr Seifarth helped us as with the diagnosis and treatment of our infant son who has Hirschsprung desease. He was excellent! His knowledge was obvious and he was incredibly confident (in the best way!) We initially believed we may have to travel for my sons two surgeries but had no issues whatsoever having Seifarth help us treat our son. He was patient, answered our questions clearly and in a way we could understand. He checked in with us often before and after surgery and dispelled excellent advice. We highly recommend him!

Dr. Seifarth was beyond amazing! My son had an almond stuck down his throat, constricting air to his right lower lung. We were flown in to Kalispell where we met Dr Seifarth and his amazing team. He took the time to explain everything to me, throughout the entire experience. He had to perform a rigid bronchoscopy to remove the 3 pieces of almond. It is a blessing having such a wonderful surgeon during this scary situation.

We have had the privilege of having Dr. Seifarth treat our 12 year old son for a pectus carinatum. He is currently treating our son with the T-Joe brace. We feel very blessed that we could find a doctor that was so thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Seifarth explained everything to us and made us feel very comfortable with our decision. He provided us with his cell number and told us to call him anytime if any issues were to arise. Dr. Seifarth also never made us feel rushed and took time for us. We have never had a doctor who wasn't in rush to move to the next patient. My husband and I both commented that we wish he could be our doctor because he cares and listens to what you actually say. Our sons chest already has improved immensely and we are very grateful. We highly recommend Dr. Seifarth. He is the best of the best in Montana.

Dr Seifarth and his staff have been amazing with my sons Pectus Excavatum care. Walk him through every step to make sure my son with autism understood what he was up against. He’s been very attentive comes in everyday for updates and lays out the next step of expectations for my son. Him and his hospital has been so helpful with all our need as we came 8 hours away to have this surgery done. Most helpful hospital I’ve ever been to with so much care and concern.

Dr. Seifarth has helped our son with non-surgical treatment of pectus carinatum. He consulted with us via telephone for 30 minutes about options before we ever saw him. He treats our son as the patient and makes certain that his questions and concerns are heard and addressed. After only 2 weeks using the T-Joe brace, our son's condition was all but reversed. We can not express enough our appreciation for the care and support of Dr. Seifarth !

We are so incredibly grateful that we were referred to Dr. Seifarth for our son’s pectus repair. He is amazing! We were so happy to get this procedure done in MT and have it be the highest level of care with an awesome pediatric anesthesiologist too. And we didn’t have to travel to Kalispell for pre or post operative appointments! They come to Bozeman!

Kalispell Regional Healthcare diagnosed my 2 year old daughter's ruptured appendix in a very timely manner. Dr. Seifarth removed her appendix and cleaned out the infection. He kept us well-informed ahead of surgery and afterward. He checked on her each day (5 days). He, along with all the staff, were excellent in meeting our every need and answering any questions we had. We have 5 children. The care we received was outstanding and each staff member was curteous and compassionate. The very best.

For the first time in 17 years someone not only understood my son's condition, but was vested in helping us through surgeries, recovery, and beyond. The time Dr. Seifarth, Rachel Fisherkeller, and the rest of the staff at Kalispell Regional Healthcare spent with us making sure we understood everything was amazing. I observed Dr. Seifarth daily for a month caring for my hospitalized son under a variety of circumstance -- a major surgery, a secondary Crohn’s attach leading to an emergency follow-up surgery (ostomy), the insertion of four drains over 2 wks, etc. 500 characters is insufficient to do justice to this talented surgeon and kind human. Great bedside manner; loving toward his patients; unrushed; humble; super smart, calm, explained situations and welcomed questions. I am so grateful he is in MT.

Our son was flown to Kalispell from Helena for an umbilical hernia surgery on Dr. Seifarth's accord. He was by far the most comforting, understanding and caring Dr. we have ever encountered. He and his wife are the absolute perfect pediatric surgeon duo you could ever ask for. My 11 year old son had to get his appendix taken out after feeling pain during a football game. Dr. Seifarth and the entire Kalispell Regional Medical Center Pediatrics were AMAZING!!! Our daughter was born with a cloacal abnormality, imperforate anus, and end-stage renal failure, just to name the most major conditions. We took our son in to see Dr. Seifarth and I can say it was much more than expected. He is new to the area and we did not hear much about him; however, the experience was amazing.
