So far I am putting my Trust in Dr. Farrah- Dawood... In helping me with Hyperparathyroid, nontoxic goiter, prediabetes....Answers my questions, easy to talk to, and his office staff are very helpful and friendly! It is a busy place, be prepared to wait a little , but it is not a problem for me.

When I was in Troy Beaumont Surgical ICU they sent Dr. Farah in to monitor my sugar and when I got out they made an appointment for me to go see him. I went to him the first time and he seemed to be OK, and when I went to see him it seemed that he was rushed and didn't want to spend much time for the appointment. When he came to my room he had his computer on his cart and he stayed in the hall, and then had the staff take my sugar level then he came back. When he came in the room he said that my A1C was exactually what I told him it was the first time I saw him. He adjusted my Insulin and started to leave and I told him I had some questions and when I asked him he did not answer them all of the way like someone how cares. My sugar was going goofy that day and I got 6 different reading and even after I calibrated my meter it was still high, and he didn't give me an answer why it was like that he just dismissed it. He was in a rust with 6 patient in the waiting room when I went in.

My father is a pancreatic cancer patient stage four, I called his endocrinologist’s office because his sugar was constantly dropping, no matter what we did at home. So his office calls me back the next day asking me “did the doctor give you a call back?” And I answered “No, he did not.” Then his office gave me his pager and told me to contact him there because obviously it was an emergency with my father. So I paged Dr. Farah second time he called me back saying “is that you again?”and I was like “um yeah (patient’s name) daughter and he yelled at me saying “listen don’t call me again”(in a very rude and loud manner) and I was just like ok I got so frustrated so I started crying and my older sister took the phone from me while he was still yelling at me and she was like “I am just informing you about your PATIENT his sugar dropped to 42.” He was like “ok, then take him to er.” He is hands down the rudest human being alive. By the time I took my father to the ER his sugar level had dropped to 31 and about four nurses were rushing to make sure they do not lose him. Just because of his inconsideration I could’ve lost my father. He is definitely an arrogant man who thinks just because he is a doctor he is above us all.

Last month while an inpatient in a hospital I was "required" to meet with Dr. Dawood. Hospital policy that anyone with an insulin pump be seen by the endo. I feel sorry for everyone else that has had to endure this. Honestly, I have been to countless doctors in my time; many of them were amazing but just as many were egotistical, condescending and narcissistic, but this guy wins the prize. I've also read a lot of physician reviews and have never before encountered a doctor whose ratings were either 1 or 5. Makes me think he's writing his own reviews. The language in the positive reviews is directly related to the things that he's criticized for in the 1 reviews. I certainly wouldn't put it past him and I can't imagine anyone with half a brain giving him a 5. I have no intention of paying the hospital for the unnecessary tests he ran, or for the 10 minutes of rudeness I had to endure, with absolutely no benefit to me.

The worst bedside manor I've ever see. Being a young teen with type 1 diabetes every time I seen him and my diabetes wasn't as great as he had wanted it to be, he would compare me to celebrities with the disease and tell me if they can manage I should have no problem. Got to the point where I was canceling my appointments to avoid the harassment and degrading comments from this doctor. I have since found a different endocrinologist who is amazing and will not be seeing this man ever again. Now being an adult and choosing my own doctor I see the world of difference and my health has never been better.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is very rude with patient. I have never encounter a doctor so rude and not listening to the patient's concerns. Not very good bedside manners, and wait time is too long to see the doctor. Too long to schedule an appointment. I would not see this doctor again, very dissapointed.

Great! Excellent caring endocrinologist. When I go to a doctor not only do I view the drs credentials but I view the make up of the entire office. Dr. Dawood-Farah's entire staff is very friendly and helpful with to me is a sign of a well run organization where all people are respected. Honestly, I left his office feeling energized to take on my health battles.

Dr.Farah is a kind, considerate, concerned doctor. I was very ill when we met. My health has improved greatly since I've been under his care. I just follow his instructions. I find him easy to talk to. He has taken very good care of me and I highly recommend him. The quality of my life has improved greatly while under his care.

I’m shocked to read some of the negative reviews. I’ve never had any issues with the Dr. period. The staff has improved greatly!!! They are so polite and organized. The office is spotless! You can tell it’s professionally cleaned. There is nothing more disgusting than being the first appointment at a Dr.’s office and the garbages being full. Now for Dr. Farah, he has great, personable and always polite. He’s been monitoring my thyroid for years and my parents. He’s the best, hands down!

Dr. Farah began treating me while I was a patients in ICU at Troy Beaumont. He has been my endocrinologist ever since. My insurance does not cover his office vistis so we arranged for an affordable private patient plan. I will not go to anyone else. He is compasionate, understanding and truly conerned for my well being. I was recently hospilized for an unrelated surgery and Dr Farah visited twice to make certain I was ok. I would rate him 10 stars if avaialbe. He is truly the best of the best.

I am a 77 year old that does not like most doctors with a few exceptions, Dr. Farah is one of the exceptions! I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes18 months ago and was introduced to him while in a short stay in the hospital. My wife and I found him to be very friendly. He explained my options in very simple language and made a suggestion that works and is well within our financial means. Being very impressed I referred him to our personnel friend and physician who in turn recommended patients t

Dr. Farah Dawood Farah is by far the best Dr. I have had for my Diabetes in a very long time. I didn't know him from Adam when I first came back to Michigan and he was suggested to me by my cardio Dr. He told me that if someone in has family developed Diabetes he would want them to go to Dr. Farah. The first time I went to him he told me that he would get my sugar under control and beleive it or not he did. It was so good that I was able to get off one of my meds. His personality is awesome.

I have seen many doctors in my lifetime without reasons to write a bad review.Dr. Farah was rude, cut me off when I tried explaining why I was there. He was more interested in my last name, how long have I been in this country? I'm American born and raised my last name is my husbands. He was nearly pushing me out the door,no examination or anything, five or more .minutes. Staff was the same as I left she said he doesn't need to see you again.six weeks later I receive a bill for 300 dollars.Court time

The Doctor was not even concerned with the issues I was sent there for. He only wanted to address the issue I was already being treated for by another doctor. I was looking for the underlying cause and he didn't want to discuss it. And when I tried to discuss he just walked out of the room. Very poor listening skills!! I will never go back or recommend him to anyone.

One of worst doctor I've ever met. He don't have minimum courtesy of listening to patient's concerns. I'm having neuropathic pain but but he don't want to listen to me. He just want to focus on my diabetics, not the immediate problem which is severe pain.

The staff and the reception were excellent. The doctor understood exactly what is my problem and discussed in details with me, letting me give my opinions with open-minded. He answered all my questions and finally he gave me the right medicine which worked with me from the first day. His two offices are clean and well organized. His staff specially the one that take care of you before the doctor see you are friendly & they give you the needed test; measuring blood pressure & blood sugar level.

He was dismissive. He refused to listen to any of my symptoms. I left his office and went directly to another endocrinologist a week later that was shocked at how dangerous my health issue was. How does this man still have a license? His medical staff were so incompetent they could not even take a blood pressure reading. I won't be back.

I was sent to the doctor due to a severe vitamin D deficiency and hyperparathyroidism. He treated me with high doses of vitamin D, but failed to determine whether the hyperparathyroidism was primary or secondary in nature. I had to see another specialist at a later date to have that determination made before I could have surgery to repair my broken shoulder. The doctor was dismissive of all other concerns that I had. If I had my way he would no longer have a license.

Front staff was obnoxious, Dr. was arrogant, condescending, and rude! His so called exam was diagnosing me, by looking at me and telling me I don't have the medical issue I suspected. He reluctantly did blood work and later when the results were in, he sent a brief letter confirming I did in fact have the issue he was convinced I didn't have. Even after all this, he gave no direction or treatment plan for the disease. If not for the nursing staff in the back I would have walked out.
