Dr. Evan Nicholas Simonson

Colleague referred us to him when relocation preceded my patient care in Wisconsin. Entire process-from new patient onboarding to treatment plan - has exceed any previous experience. Dr. Simonson has not only consulted with previous care physician but kept him informed of my progress and current treatment plan. He has provided clear direction and achievable goals in my transition from care phase to rehabilitation.

Dr. Simonson is amazing! When there wasn't a fix from other podiatrists, he found one. He corrected a problem that I had for 5 years. He listens & and explains in detail what the fix was. I'm so happy Dr. Scott

From the first moment I stepped foot in the office at Granite Ortho I was pleased. I was warmly greeted by Connie and she took care of all my paperwork in a quick and professional manner and every appointment since I am greeted by name and kind words. At my first appointment I had met Martha who was again so kind and guided me through all pre-op papers - her follow-up was just incredible - she did not miss anything. The X-ray technician (Brad?) is excellent at his trade - quick and precise. And Sierah has been just as outstanding in taking care of me from the first visit and still at every appointment. She is kind, gentle and an amazing professional. I have to state that I had gone to a different local office and Dr. and had the most terrible experience - first one said Dr ordered imagery done on the wrong foot! So to say the least I was apprehensive. This fear disappeared quickly meeting Dr. Simonson. He took his time to listen, then did a thorough examination of my foot and offered me options and what the best solution would be. I elected the surgery suggested and have no regrets at all. Dr. Simonsen is in my opinion the best. Surgery went well and very quickly; recovery is going amazing and every follow-up appointment Dr. Simonson takes his time and does not rush, even though I know how busy he is! His skills and bedside manners are second to none! I highly recommend him and his entire team. You will be in the best of hands at Granite Ortho - Prescott!

Dr Simonson seems like a caring doctor. He spent time with me listening and answering my many questions. The office is a bit overly busy at times, but I think that’s happening everywhere now. The staff really try to accommodate. I had my ankle replaced and I feel the surgery went well and I would recommend him.

Gave me an arch, straigthened foot with heel fusion, tendon work .Very good at explaining. Clearly cares about his patients.

After putting off foot surgery for many years I decided it was time. After seeing 4 different Surgeons for a consultation I went with Dr. Simonson. He took the time to explain my options, the procedure and recovery for the best outcome. The surgery went perfect and I could not be happier. He has always been on time and takes the time to listen. The office is busy but the staff has always been very friendly with minimum wait times. Overall Granite Orthopedics gets 5 STARS.

I went in for a broken ankle. I was in pain and he had to xray it and resplint. But of course he also had to set the break. That was the most pain i ever felt. But had to be done. Now surgery on Wednesday. Hope it all will go well and he is great at surgery

After many years of relentless pain and loss of mobility Dr Simonson Listened and HEARD me and is helping me regain mobility. His front and back office staff and is fabulous. You feel important Thank you for giving me my life back.

I think Dr. Simonson is amazing. He is so kind and compassionate for a doctor. He is personable, remembers who you are when he walks in, listens very well, and works with patients for their good. I highly recommend Dr. Simonson.

Dr.Simonson came recommended by a friend and he and his team impressed me from the moment I walked in to their office. I was greeted by Connie at the front desk immediately and she was just so friendly, professional and welcoming. I did not have to wait very long at at all, after completing the needed forms, to be called in. Sierah and Martha a rare breed of top level compassionate and knowledgeable professionals. After having had more than one horrible experience (sent me to CT scan - order was for the wrong foot!!) with another local physician and his crew, this was like a breath of fresh air and reassurance. I was at that point less apprehensive. Dr. Simonson took his time to listen to all details, did a thorough examination including having X-rays taken (X-Ray tech was also top notch(so sorry I forgot his name) and so was the equipment used. After giving me all the options the conclusion of this visit was, and I agreed, that I indeed needed surgery. Everything was scheduled in a timely manner and Martha was on top of it all. Surgery day came Jan 18th and went just wonderful..Dr. Simonson is top notch in my opinion...and again the care and compassion and Dr. Simonson's bedside manners were just outstanding. The follow-up visit on Jan 24th went smoothly - again amazing staff all around - I really felt they truly cared about and respected me and I never experienced any long wait times (sometimes 1 hr sitting in the waiting room at the other office and never been acknowledged or updated as to the wait time or anything) like I had in the past - I can only highly recommend Dr. Simonson and his staff! Just absolutely outstanding!

Friendly Caring Doctor

Caring doctor. Takes his time with you. Highly recommended.

Dr. Simonson showed me the x-ray of my foot as he explained what is going on with my toe and the area surrounding it. He actively listened to me. He was friendly, kind and compassionate. This was my first experience getting a steroid injection directly into a joint. I thought he did a great job. I can't believe how quickly the inflammation and the pain is receding. I'm walking more normal than I have since this all started! Thank you Dr. Simonson! Dr. Simonson is always friendly and thorough. He has done two surgeries for me. Both have been without issues and quick recovery. I am thankful for him and the rest of the staff!

It took him a hour 1/2 to take 1 xray. Did not explain to me if my foot will have any change of getting any better. Spent VERY little time with me. When I made my appointment that I hade told them I had a broken foot. Felt like I was just a walk in. TAKE IT OR LIVE IT.

This is the second foot surgery I have had done by Dr Simonson and I would continue to seek treatment from him in the future if needed. He lays out all your options from conservative to surgical, talks about what you want from treatment and let’s you make the decision. Both of my options were basically surgical and I am happy I went that route. I definitely trust and recommend him. I also work in the medical field so I did some asking around before I chose a surgeon. Dr Simonson was highly recommended by those I asked. Very caring. Dr. Simonson talks about my issue and my options. He makes sure you understand everything. I really like him a lot.

He's a really good doctor. He knows exactly where to insert the injections I get. I end up feeling really good after I've had my procedure. I honestly don't know how to survive without them. I think God for him.

Excellent care

I been to a couple if orthopedic doctors in the area and this Dr has them beat. His diagnosis seemed spot on along with his treatment plan.

I was impressed with the Dr. Simonson and his staff. They were thorough in evaluating a problem with my foot. The treatment Dr. Simonson provided relieved the pain I was experiencing. I have a follow-up appointment to make sure the problem is completely resolved.

Dr Simonson recognized a hidden foot fracture after two other physicians missed it. His staff is amazing, he is efficient, precise and an amazing person and surgeon! Surgery went well and he knows exactly what to address!!!

Dr Simmonson has listened to me when I have seen him with an attentive ear, he has very good bedside manner and shows compassion which seems to be in very short supply with most Dr's these days highly recommend him he did an excellent job with my total ankle replacement.

After 5 years of different orthopedic doctors telling me there was nothing they could do for me I finally found the right doctor. Thank you to the whole team!

Dr was on time, took time to listen, discuss and recommend. Made earlier recommendation that was very helpful to reduce my pain and discomfort.

Dr Simonson is an excellent surgeon. He has a great bedside manner and gave me practical advice on speeding up my recovery after the ankle healed. I would highly recommend!!

Was advised today by his medical assistant that he requires x-rays for all office visits regardless of what you are being seen for. I made an appointment for a minor concern and was told I could not be seen until I had X-rays. How does he know I will need X-rays until I have been examined? This appears unprofessional and unethical to order tests before you are examined. I have fired him as a provider after this experience.

Dr Simonson really cares about his patients & explains what is going on at each visit.

Dr. Simonson listens to issues and concerns, provides answers and is caring. I have been his patient for 2 1/2 years and have felt completely cared for. Never once thought of going anywhere else

Dr. Simonson is a great Doctor he seems to really care about my issue and every appointment is done without long wait times. He is fully engaged and present which is a big plus.

I had a really bad break on my ankle from slipping on ice. Dr Simonson is a personable, upbeat and excellent surgeon. He aligned and put my ankle back together. I would highly recommend!
