I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review: In short, Dr. Kang is the BEST oral surgeon around, so if you're waffling over other options, look no further. Back in July 2020 (during quarantine), I unfortunately came down with an abscessed tooth that needed to be removed. I had 10/10 anxiety over this procedure. I searched high and low for the best oral surgeon to remove the tooth (I even looked in other states!) and Dr. Kang was hands-down the most capable and compassionate doctor I found. He listened carefully to my concerns and made adjustments as needed. The staff even offered to hold my hand because I was so afraid! Everything went better than I could've imagined. I had ZERO issues after the tooth extraction—I didn't even need pain medication because I had no pain! Nearly 2 years later, and I've had no complications. My mouth healed just fine. Thank you, Dr. Kang and staff for your excellent care. I am forever grateful that you were there for me during one of the most difficult moments of my life.

Dr. Kang and his team are kind, gentle, and understanding! My daughter has had some baby teeth removed to prepare for braces on two separate occasions and both times she healed very easily! Highly recommend!

Dr. Kang is excellent and the entire staff at Aspen Oral Surgery is amazing - super attentive, kind, personable, and very helpful. It was well worth the extra drive to have Dr. Kang do the procedure. My 11yo daughter needed to have 4 permanent teeth removed due to crowding. She was extremely nervous about the procedure but Dr. Kang answered all of her (and my) questions, made sure she understood the process and felt at ease. The procedure was fairly quick and my daughter said it was way better than she expected. She didn't really have any pain afterwards. I was extremely nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out--especially since I had very long tooth roots. However, Dr Kang and his team did an amazing job! Dr. Kang and his team of professionals are awesome! I only met them this morning, but they have already made a huge difference in my life. I had some angry wisdom teeth that did not want to come out the normal way. I have been trying for almost 10 years to get someone to take them out, but always ran into some kind of complication that prevented the extraction. The folks at Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery got it done in about an hour and I didn't even need the IV sedation. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for consultation with Dr. Kang. Friday, 2 hrs before my appointment Leigh the receptionist tells me I need a referral from my dentist otherwise I will need to be reschedule. Of course my dentist is out on Friday and there’s no way I can get a referral that soon. It would have been nice to know this on the day I scheduled my appointment. I took the day off for this appointment and Leigh wasn’t very helpful at all. I’m a cash pay so I don’t see the point for the referral. If they need my previous X-ray/records etc I can for sure get that to them next week when my dentist reopen. I’m sure Dr. Kang is great, but the staff definitely need some training for better costumer service. Dr. Kang was kind enough to call me him self and apologized. He is willing to work me in so I won’t have to wait that long. I heard so much great things about Dr. Kang, so I plan on rescheduling my appointment with him. Dr. Kang was incredibly warm yet professional. I had to have a back molar extracted and he performed the surgery quickly, successfully, with no pain. The entire practice is efficient, caring, and helpful. I highly recommend Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery.

Dr Kang is the best! My teen daughter is medically complex with CRPS and POTS. Her teeth were impacted. Dr Kang listened to her. He spoke with her physician that manages her CRPS and came up with a game plan. He listened, acted, and it worked. I couldn’t be happier.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here back in March. My dentist recommended me here and they were so nice with every encounter on the phone or in person. Dr. Kang did a fantastic job. I was very nervous about the procedure due to the horror stories I have heard, but I knew I was in good hands. My recovery went so well I had little to no pain. Also, every time I called to make a payment, whoever I got on the phone ( most often Lee ) was always super nice. Dr. Eugene Kang and Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery outdid themselves with my wisdom teeth extraction. Since my first visit for my consultation the staff was friendly and informative, they gave me a good estimate for all of the costs involved and the whole process was super smooth. On my extraction day, Dr. Kang and his staff had both my teeth out (one of which was impacted) in under 10 minutes and I was out of there in under an hour (I also used local anesthetic). Very satisfied with their service, couldn't recommend them more highly!

Dr. Kang and Lee at the Front Desk were great! They were able to schedule a consultation the day after I was referred. Within a week and a half they got me in for my oral surgery procedure. Dr. Kang was really easy to talk to and helped calm most of my worries. Highly recommend his practice and the team overall.

Difficult as it is to tolerate oral surgery, Dr. Kang and his staff could not make the experience more pleasant. By far the most caring, concerned and just plain nice doctor and staff. I highly recommend!

I have to say I was very nervous about getting implants but Dr. Kang was wonderful from day one. He was very detailed in explaining what the process would be and I felt I was in good hands. I was referred to Dr. Kang by my dentist for a molar extraction. This was not my first rodeo when it comes to major dental work, but I can say without a doubt that it was my best experience. From my first contact with Lee until I walked out the door after the procedure, every interaction with Dr. Kang and his staff was informative, respectful and comforting. The work they do here is nothing short of miraculous; Dr. Kang is so qualified at what he does that I feel thankful that I was able to have him do my somewhat high-risk procedure. A month after my procedure, which had a chance of nerve damage due to me having unusual roots, I healed flawlessly and there was never any point either after my procedure or during my recovery that I had any pain that was even comparable to the pain my teeth gave me before the oral surgery. Everyone that works at this facility is incredibly kind, professional and laid-back. They all did more than needed to make me feel comfortable, and were completely understanding with me being nervous and answered all of my questions with patience and coherence. Dr. Lang did an amazing job taking my wisdom teeth out! I am on day 5 post surgery and have yet to even feel any pain at all. My mouth looks and feels great! I would highly recommend going to him.

Sorry it took so long to leave my review but this place is awesome . They made a bad situation really comfortable (extraction) for me from reception to walking out the door. Dr Kang really cares about his patients. It was important to him that I was comfortable as possible, and his skills are outstanding I would definitely return. I would recommend this place . John

They do amazing work! Even after getting a dry socket, at no fault of theirs, they have done everything possible to make the healing time as comfortable as possible. They do not have a 6 start raring option or they would recive it. Dr. Kang is at the top of his game.

Dr khang is an amazing human being. Five days ago I slingshotted myself into a metal chair breaking multiple bones in my face with a total of seven fractures. Dealing with Medicaid, urgent care, the emergency room and all the specialists has been a nightmare. Here it is Friday night and I am no closer to getting a surgery scheduled then I was when I was in the ER. Although Dr. Kangs practice does not except Medicaid he was still willing to talk to me over the phone for over 30 minutes about all of my questions and concerns. I was so nervous to get my wisdom teeth taken out! I feel Dr. Kang and his staff show true compassion for their patients, after talking to him, almost all my nerves had disappeared. Just reading his "about me" section on the website and learning of all the schooling and training and the many different licences he posseses blew me away. If I ever need any sort of dental surgery in the future, I will never go to anyone else. The work they put in to monitor you while "under" also gave me a huge relief. And!!! Dr. Kang administered my I.V and it was honestly the least painful I.V. I have ever received. I also love that Lee could answer every question I had the many times I called.. I went to Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery just for a consultation for a lump on my gum which had been treated with antibiotics by dentists. Dr. Kang was able to diagnosis the lump as being more serious than just an infection. The office staff was able to rearrange his already busy schedule right then for treatment. How do you thank people for saving your life, no exaggeration! Some advice -- not all teeth, gum, and mouth disorders are dentistry issues; at a certain point you want to consult a DMD, MD. I went in to get my top 2 wisdom teeth extracted. I was a bit nervous since it was being done with local anesthesia (I'd only done general for my bottom two), but Dr. Kang and the rest of his staff were very nice and made me feel at ease. They told me exactly what was going to happen, and reassured me that if it hurt at any time to let them know so that they could numb it up more. After the numbing, the whole procedure took about 10 minutes, even given that he had to put in a stitch on the right side. Aside from some pressure, it really wasn't that bad. I was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection that my dentist believed was caused by an infection that developed at the site of a previous root canal. Due to the possible high level of surgery and treatment needed my dentist gave me two oral surgeon recommendations. My call to Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery was answered by Lee who spoke with knowledge and caring so strong that I made the decision at that moment to go to Dr. Kang. My experience and treatment from that moment on was never short of superior excellence. Dr. Kang is a rare combination of superior skill and kindness that I have never experienced before. My regular Dentist, ran into some difficulty while attempting to extract one of my teeth, which required my Dentist to contact Dr. Kang, Aspen Oral & Facial Surgery, to complete the extraction on a short notice. Dr. Kang fit me into his tight schedule within a 2 hours of my Dentist contacting him. Dr. Kang impressed me immediatley with his knowledge and professionalism. He spoke with me in detail about me current health, past surgeries and current medications. He explained what he was going to do and went about it very methodically. Within 20 to 30 minutes he completed the task. I felt no pain. He and his Staff, especially his Assistant, were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like I had known them my entire life. Dr. king and his staff exhibited superior patient care and thoroughness when extracting my daughter’s impacted wisdom teeth. Both professional and personable, Dr. Kang is truly accomplished in his field. There is no other whom my younger daughter will see when it’s her turn. I know she will be in the best of hands!

Our entire experience with Aspen Oral Syrgery center was hassle free and perfect from beginning to end. From Lee at the front desk who immediately put my daughter at ease (which wasn’t easy given how nervous she was), to Tamra the nurse being patient and very sweet, finally to Dr Kang who was gentle and very reassuring. The surgery was over in less than an hour. EVERYONE made sure my daughter and I were both as comfortable as we could be and Dr Kang even called to check on her later in the day. I had my wisdom teeth removed at this facility. The staff was very kind and calming during the entire process. I am not very comfortable with needles and Dr.Kang personally talked me through the entire process of putting in the IV. Everyone is so nice at Aspen Oral and Facial Surgery and the procedure and followup is explained clearly. The appointment was fast even though it was a difficult extraction of my daughters 4 wisdom teeth. She has recovered so well with no problems and minimal pain! I will recommend to friends and family.

Our dentist office, Larkridge Dentistry, recommended Dr.Kang & we couldn’t be happier. The whole process, with an uneasy kiddo in having to get 5 teeth removed in preparation for braces, was over the top. All the staff are compassionate & supportive to all, including parents that would surely switch places with our kiddos in a heartbeat.???? Dr. Kang called a few hours after procedure to check in, making sure patient was comfortable & if we had any questions or concerns. Lee is a hoot & keeps all spirits high.
