My brother visited the office to have 3 teeth extracted by Dr Herman. The office staff is very nice, however, BEWARE of Dr Herman!!!! He is unprofessional, nasty, and barbaric! He was actually cursing under his breath when he had trouble extracting one of my brothers teeth and when my brother expressed he was in agony Dr Herman acted annoyed and reluctantly gave him more novocaine. He was even nasty to his assistant during the procedure. My brother has had many dental procedures over the years and has a very good tolerance to pain, but when he came home he was clearly shooken up, said he was in agony and bleeding profusely from his mouth! He had to even ask for extra gauze. The office manager was very polite when we called to complain, but as for Dr Herman....STAY AWAY!!!

Dr Herman is warm and friendly and funny. Had a great first visit w him and his staff I was very impressed w Jennifer i had an emergency situation and even tho the office was very busy she made sure she got me in to b seen by the doctor Additionally, before i left she had contacted my dental insurance office herself and made sure I was armed with all the information I needed as far as what was covered. Had my wisdom and moral removed 4 hours ago.So relieved! Pain free! Just cold from eating ice cream.Dr Herman! You are my angel! I could not find any surgeon earlier than 4 month appointment booking.Went to emergency hospital and they provided only temporary pain relieve. My primary general dentist did not care about my pain,my insurance could not find any for urgent care.I suffered horrible pain for 2 month.Christmas with pain ,my birthday with pain.Only my wish was to remove my teeth. My dream came true thanks to Concerned dental care and Dr.Herman who is not even listed as a surgeon under my insurance lists of providers. Dr.Herman is a dedicated doctor and has to be honored .He puts himself on Covid risk helping people. And how there can be some people giving low rate is being selfish and stupid.

I've had several implants done over the past dozen years or so. Dr. Herman has always been entirely professional, caring, and willing to take as much time as required. Never once, in all my visits to this practice, have I felt he was anything like the one star reviews I've read here.

10-2019 Do not go to any off their offices. It appears that this company Including Jay Fensterstock owner of Concerned Dental Care are not concerned with their patients outcomes. I have read so many bad reviews on so many websites now that I wish I had never went. I saw Eugene G. Herman in Farmingville he became very abusive using profanities ( F words towards me directly ) and became unnecessary rough as he broke my tooth off leaving roots sticking out my gum. He didn't discuss any thing with me until I asked and he sighed and dismissed my concerns giving no explanation or understanding to leaving the roots exposed as he did. The suture was never tied and fell out in the car ride home. I plan to contact the Dental Association and file a formal complaint with my insurance company. Mr. Herman was sued in 2015 for similar behavior. I am contacting a Lawyer to see if I can sue Concerned Dental Care and Eugene G. Herman. If you value yourself and your family's health do not go there.

He was extremely knowledgeable with extractions and the implant. Great demeanor and took his time to ensure the procedure went accordingly. If you need this type of dental work, go to him! Don’t look any further.

The most professional implant... After a root canal that failed years later n needed to do a 2nd, through the gum... unusual, failed 2 root canals, finally fixed with an implant by Dr. Herman, n everyone asks who did the implant? Perfection!!!!!! Money well spent! Also, after having to have the 2nd root canal through my gum, I had a very rough oral surgeon at the time, fired for his inexperienced bedside manner, had to be stopped, middle of procedure n put on oxygen... DR. HERMAN UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WENT THROUGH N CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT DENTISTRY.... He was the best!!! Never will go to anyone else... He took a wisdom tooth out at 40 years of age , never infected n 1,2,3, out.. I said . “ ur done? It’s out? “. N yes it was! No more anxiety with the dentist anymore!!!❤️???? Took my 88 yr old mother to have 2 extractions. Never explained anything before or after to mom or myself. He is BARBARIC. COLD, NO COMPASSION, UNPROFESSIONAL. he gave mom about 4-5 injections which she screamed and cried and not once did he say I’m sorry, take a breath or console her in any way. He abruptly told her to put her hands down. He then said will let you numb up a bit walks out passed me as I asked a question an kept walking his back towards me never once stopping to acknowledge me. His nurse walked out behind him. I walk into mom n she is shaking and crying both Dr Herman and nurse left an 88 year old woman like this. Dr. Herman you have to look at yourself in a mirror every and you are a DISGRACE to The Dental Profession. How would you like someone treating your mother this way. You have NO BUSINESS practicing with your negative, rude, abrupt, barbaric, VERY CRUEL behavior. How do you leave an 88 year old woman with her medical history in a room shaking and crying?

My 12 year old daughter had 4 baby teeth extracted by Dr. Herman in Farmingville. We waited an hour and a half a the initial consult. The extraction was an extremely traumatic experience. He had no compassion, was very nasty and rough, and yelled at her for being upset. He would not even let her catch her breath during the process - demanding she open her mouth so he could get it done. Not recommended!

I seen him in his Staten Island Office all I can say is wow very unprofessional his quality of work is very poor. He did a procedure on me to clear up an infection. So I go to the dentist who is now doing my root canals and tells me after looking at my X-rays infection is still there I was livid when I heard that His office staff is rude and unprofessional. What office bills a patient before ins and says we will refund you if ins pays it’s a good thing I didn’t pay since he did a poor job

Dr. Herman was the oral surgeon during a charity medical clinic I attended in TN. When the original dentist I saw couldn't get a tooth out, they sent me over to Dr Herman. He was able to remove the tooth and also removed the impacted wisdom tooth that was causing the issue as if it was nothing. I was in no more pain than I would expect after the ordeal and am so pleased with the way it has healed! Plus, he is super nice. I would highly recommend Dr Herman to anyone needing oral surgery!

This is one of the best doctors who many years ago saved my life by doing a major jaw surgery/reconstruction for my TMJ. I was unable to eat anything before surgery due to pain and all food went in a blender. For 34 years now I no longer have TMJ pain. His work is remarkable and a very very kind knowledgeable man. Would highly recommend.

Terrible doctor, he has no patience and is very rude. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He has traumatized my daughter. He was so ruff and nasty to her. I feel terrible for not searching for review before having her deal with this idiot. Now I been reading so many bad reviews about this guy and all say the same so I'm not lying. She went threw so much pain and is terrified. Please don't take your child to this individual. Terrible doctor, he has no patience and is very rude. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. This doctor needs to learn some patience. He is the rudest human being I've ever come in contact with. I brought my daughter to him for one tooth. He said she needed 4 out. Well surgery day comes, and he can't find a vein to put in a line, and says my daughter is a big girl. She's average size. He's much heavier. After coaxing my daughter agrees to do it with a local. He tried for 30 seconds to a minute to inject her before leaving the room, saying we're done here. Incompetent and unprofessional
