I would categorize this as one of the worst visits with a doctor I’ve ever had. I spent the first 15 minutes telling Dr. Bonfante all about my daughters GI journeys thus far. How I tried breastfeeding for 5 months but she continued to have blood in her stool despite my eliminations, my daughter was on reflux meds, she was still having crazy and terrible stools, etc. the first thing out of his mouth was “well we really recommend breastfeeding...” After I told him I was down to 3 foods and my daughter was still pooping BLOOD and I had to switch to formula for my own mental health. He never asked for a stool sample, to see the pictures I’d taken, or anything about the blood I had seen (amount or frequency). We will not be returning and I warn everyone I know to stay far away from this practice. I would categorize this as one of the worst visits with a doctor I’ve ever had.
