Dr. Erin E Fleener

I have been a patient of Dr. Fleener’s for over 5 years. I would not be alive today if it wasn’t for God supernaturally bringing her into my life. She is absolutely the most compassionate and amazing doctor I have ever experienced during my 7 year battle with cancer. I have been cancer free for the better part of 5 years now, while I continue doing immunotherapy. I cannot express my gratitude to her and the clinic staff in an adequate way that would justify their level of care. I am simply amazed at all I have been through at her clinic. Dr. Fleener is a part of my life, she is like family and she has always gone above and beyond the call to help me, as well as my friends, whom she has met along the journey. My family and my friends all love her dearly. She is a blessing sent from heaven!

When my brother was diagnosed in April 2019 with stage four pancreatic cancer, it was a huge shock as I’m sure it is to everyone that hears the “c” word. We were referred to the Cancer Center and were lucky enough to have Dr. Erin Fleener assigned to us. From day one, she showed empathy, care, support, determination and above all else love. I can’t explain it, but we had just met her and not only me, but my brother would on numerous visits say how much he appreciated that she was his doctor. Every time we came in she greeted us so caring and lovingly like she had known us for many years. That’s just her demeanor. She treats all her patients this same way. Along with that, her staff are out-of-this-world amazing. We made a connection with each and every one of them from day one. With the amount of patients they treat on a daily basis, we were amazed at how quick they knew you, your treatment plan, had things ready within minutes and had a genuine care for you as an individual, not “another patient.” Dr. Fleener would even pop back to the treatment chairs area and check on her patients. Bedside manner is a huge deal to us. Over the eleven months of his treatment, we grew to appreciate and love her and her caring ways many times over. Even though he didn’t make it and passed away March 2020, she and I have remained friends. She even has helped me with getting assistance for a cervical cancer scare I’ve had most recently. She goes above and beyond her “call of duty” to help in any kind of ways she can. And if she doesn’t know (which is very rare), she quickly finds out. If you or a loved one need oncology care, don’t hesitate to contact the Cancer Center and ask for Dr. Erin Fleener. You will be taken care of with the utmost respect, care and love. I love Doctor Fleener and everyone that works in her office. She got me in right away. I had breast cancer, my biggest fear as my mother died at 51 from breast cancer. She listened to me and remembered every detail of my concerns. She had me tested for genetic propensity to cancer. She referred me to several different surgeons and helped me pick the one that would be best for me, each time her staff ensured I got in to see them right away. They made appointments for me around my availability. She is no nonsense, kind and thorough. After my surgery she referred me to a radiologist and went through her findings with me. I will follow up with her for at least the next 5 years. I am so glad she is my doctor. Thank you Doctor Fleener, may God Bless YOU Always! Dr. Fleener is far more interested in self promotion than patient care. There's a strange oversized photo/mural in the office of all the doctors with a "Best of the Brazos" captiom. Never encountered anything like this in a medical office. It comes across as tasteless and the doctors appear pathetic and needy to promote themselves IN THE OFFICE. My review of the place along with all other reviews were removed by the way. What is shocking to me is that at my first appointment she was completely unprepared, knew nothing about me and hadnt bothered to look over any of my medical info. This was the case for each appointment. The last time I saw her she kept checking her phone and ended my appointment to take a call. I dont trust what she tells me since it varies from one appointment to the next. She may be "best of the brazos" but there is no competition here. The extent of her medical care and compassion seems to be making a sad face. I do not recommend Cancer Shack / Cancer Hut at all. If possible, try to go out of town. Want to be told you are in remission when you are not? Establish here. Looking to die from your cancer? Look no further! Want a doctor to read you imaging results right in front of you, incorrectly, and once again lie about your condition? She's the one. Want to be told that your family member "wants to go to heaven" because their cancer metastasized to the bone, under her care, when they were "in remission" and still going for visits regularly and not being checked? She'll sign anyone right up for the hospice her daddy is on the board of. The nurses were great, but they can't save you or your loved one from Dr. Fleener's negligence. More interested in self-promotion than patient care. I dont completely trust the information she provides as it varies across appointments. Of course, Bryan/College Station is a medical backwater so this is not suprising.

She is a very intelligent person and a blessing to the medical industry in Bryan Tx.

Dr. Fleener was wonderful! Thankfully, I saw her for something that didn't turn out to be serious, but she was so caring, and she really made sure I understood what was going on. She took time to go over my test results in detail and in a way that I understood. Had there been something going on, I have no doubt she would have taken the very best care of me. Also, the whole staff was warm, caring and friendly, which made the whole process of being a patient much easier.

She is a fantastic listener. She lays out the options and helps you decide on the best course of action without too much pressure. I have a rare disease and she will openly say that she does not know but will check with specialists at MD Anderson and get back with me. Overall, she is an exceptional doctor, and unfortunately, I have lots of doctors to compare her to.

Dr. Fleener is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, answers all my questions. She gave me all the information I needed to make my descision as to the treatment need for my cancer. All my calls were returned in a timely manner if I had any questions. I was very pleased with the care I received from her.
