I have more than 100 moles on each appendage and she is conscientious about checking each of them since i have had multiple skin cancers! After 6 years she is fast, gentle, and always answers questions. I am also impressed with her stitching skills (since she is not a trained plastic surgeon). I recommend her highly.

I have been a patient from the beginning of Dr Canova's career. She hes been wonderful at treating my condition for many years. The whole team is very respectful, and always ready to help. A big thank you to Chriss for all you do.

Quiet, efficient, and I trust her with my life, esp since I have a genetic marker for melanoma, which has killed family members.

The absolute worst customer experience I have ever had.

Called to see if they took my insurance . Didn't even tell her what insurance i have and she told she has no way of telling. But everybody else i called did.

I have been going to Dr. Canova for many years now. She is very sweet and professional! She discovered Squamish Cell Carcinoma in my left eye. She did my surgery and stitched me up using Mohs procedure!! If I had waited much longer I could have lost my eye to this cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Canova! JRS

Amazing physician who truly cares about her patients. Extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend without a doubt!

Misdiagnosed and neglected. She was my Dermatologist for 11 Years I trusted her and traveled over 1 hr. To see her when I could have gone local. She treated me for Seborrhea over the Years even though my problem never went away. Went to new Dermatologist and as soon as she saw the area she said that is Basil Cell you need Mohs Surgery. Went for Mohs Surgery and Specialist said it has been growing for Years,it was deep and wide. It took 30 Stitches and I have a nasty Scar down my Neck.

Very egotistical, self-serving office using their shield of MD self-importance to deny their incompetence in internal communication and serving their patients. What a hassle getting what you need. Another transaction area in our daily lives turned upside down in favor of those at the top of the status quo.

I have been a patient of Dr. Canova for about 7 years. She is very thorough in her examinations and explains every thing about the procedures she will be performing. I am very happy with her professional etiquette and always cheerful attitude. The entire staff at Gainesville Dermatology is very polite and eager to answer your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Canova especially for Skin Cancer issues. She's a keeper. JMC
