Dr. Eric D Weston

I am a retired Family Physician. I remember Dr Weston when he first came to our city as a very hard working and capable Gastroenterologist. He did not shy away from work no matter what time of the day. If his skills were needed he was available to help the patient. He was a skillful diagnostician and endoscopist. He took care of my wife and when I needed him he took care of me. May he have a happy and healthy retirement. He justly deserves it.

Dr. Eric Weston is not only an amazing gastroenterologist but an outstanding human being. His name has been connected to our family ever since he began treating my mom Sammie at age 17 & more than 30yrs later he is referred to me by another physician. And immediately while under his care for gastro issues he prompted me to have another item checked which turned out to be cancer. Because of Dr. Eric Weston I am able to really live and laugh again. He truly is one of a kind. With tears in my eyes I pray he enjoys his well deserved retirement and I will miss his knowledge, compassion and most of all that smile. I loved Dr. Weston and I’m so sorry he has retired.

Dr. Weston is all that I hope for in a physician and everything I need in a gastroenterologist to manage my complicated GI system. He's extremely knowledgeable and that knowledge is up to the moment. For 8 years, I've asked him about study 'X' and he puts it in context by citing 3 other studies that support or refute the findings and then applies it to my health situation. He listens so well and is wise enough to know when to apply just enough wry humor to bring oxygen back into the room. He is that rare doctor who instinctively balances the art and science of medicine, all to the benefit of his patient. I would clone him if I could.

I have been seeing Dr. Weston for 35 years. He is thorough, professional, informative and caring. I have always felt he gives his utmost attention to my concerns and questions. Thankful and fortunate to have him in our medical community.

Doctor Weston is the best!

I took my 100 year old mother in to see Dr Weston today. This Doctor has the patience beyond words. He’s very smart and explains things thoroughly. Turns out Dr Westin unfortunately couldn’t treat my Mother, but he helped me so much with what I needed to do and who to see. If I ever need a Gastroenterologist, I would definitely call his office.

Two years since moving to another state, I’ve been unable to find a gastroenterologist who measures up to Dr. Weston. He brings to his practice a rare combination of qualities: deep experience, tenacious scientific problem solving approach, diligent follow up supported by a great staff, and genuine caring for his patients I erred in giving him only 4 stars before, thinking that was a stellar rating. Dr. Weston deserves 5 or more stars.

What a wonderful doctor. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Weston for the past 5 years. He is knowledgeable and thorough and freely discusses the state of your health and any procedures with you. We both have had several precancerous screening procedures which were performed on the second floor of the medical building. All visits were well coordinated, staff are friendly and helpful which made everything go smoothly. We highly recommend Dr Weston to anyone.

I've had gastro issues for 10+ years all with different diagnosis. Dr. Weston was the first doctor to start from the beginning to evaluate my other diagnoses. I saw doctor's previously who went to Harvard Medical School, they were always rushing. Dr. Weston listens, he appreciates a patient's story to help in his evaluation. My word for him "Outstanding Doctor"
