I had a great experience with Dr. Puttler. He’s very respectful, informative, and makes sure you are comfortable, from start to finish.

After breaking my ankle after passing out in the shower, I was understandably anxious about the surgery and recovery process, but from the moment I met Dr.Puttler in the Emergency Room at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, I felt at ease. They took the time to explain every step of the procedure to me in a way that was easy to understand, and their bedside manner was fantastic. The surgery itself was a great success, I had one long plate on the inner side of the ankle and a couple of screws placed in the outside of the ankle, and the recovery process went much smoother than I anticipated. Dr.Puttler checked in on me regularly and made themselves available to answer any questions I had throughout the 6 months healing process.

Very pleasant.

Went in for knee pain not responding. Had X-ray first then talked with Dr Puttler. Doctor explained everything very thoroughly and discussed options. Made a decision to have knee replacement surgery and am looking forward to getting relief.

Very careful intelligent diagnosis with positive results.

Went In with hip pain and questions. Questions were answered and a cortisone injection given plus physical therapy ordered. Very thorough and professional.

Received great care and took care of the tramatic injury for me. I am healing nicely and will definitely go to Dr Puttler for future knee surgery

Dr Puttler is very good at his practice. Professional and is always listening. He has repaired my left clavicle and now is seeing me for my fractured shoulder. Couldn’t be more happy with the results. Highly recommended!

Dr Puttler performed a comprehensive exam then listened to all of my questions. He provided an initial prognosis with a follow up test to provide more data to prescribe treatment options.

Everyone was very helpful at ROI and Dr. Puttler was to the point which I appreciate…we still have some things to figure out and I feel confident we will as time goes on.

Dr Putler is excellent thorough and very caring. I truly trust and appreciate all he did for me.

Broke my collarbone, at 71 not the best time to have surgery on a bone. But Dr Puttler did a great job. Getting better day by day.

Dr. Putler made my knee surgery easy and flawless. He is a very nice man.

Dr Puttler was timely and did a thorough examination and clearly outlined my options. I never felt as though I was a nuisance or that he was trying to rush through the appointment to get to the next. He even called me to confirm a medication.

He is very knowledgeable, explained all my knee care options with pros and cons for each and in the end let me the patient decide what was right for my situation. I so appreciate that!

This second appt was to find out through more needed xrays if i needed hip replacement surgery. Dr Puttler was very nice and explained my xrays had not changed from the last ones 6 or 7 months ago. I felt relaxed talking to him. The physical therapy appts he had me go to definitely helped me!!

I was referred to Dr. Puttler due to a torn medial meniscus in my knee that had not healed or greatly improved after months of physical therapy. I'm a runner and I also love to hike, and the torn meniscus was making it impossible to do those things without pain and swelling. Dr. Puttler determined that arthroscopic surgery was the best option at that point. I had a partial meniscectomy and was walking on my knee in two days. After three weeks most of the swelling and pain were gone and I was able to walk several miles. At six weeks I can now walk and hike and have begun gradually running again. I think Dr. Puttler is an excellent surgeon. He explained every aspect of my surgery and recovery in detail. I am so thankful for his excellent care. In addition, this was my first surgery, and it was much less frightening than I thought it would be due to his and his team's professionalism and expertise.

Took plenty of time to evaluate & discuss my condition.

Dr. Puttler is great. Having him do the surgery to repair my broken ankle gave me confidence of a successful outcome.

Doctor Puttler is a perfectionist and has done three successful operations on me. He has a gentle demeanor and is very attentive to your needs.

Dr. Puttler saw me just after my er visit and acted quickly to get my surgery scheduled within 4 days. The surgery was a breeze Dr.Puttler consulted me and told me exactly how it was going to go and when I awoke it was all done. I went home with no complications and the follow ups have been great. Dr. Puttler is easy to talk to answering all questions that I had.

Dr Puttler is very understanding and very thorough in explaining what to expect with both my hip replacements. I would highly recommend him for orthopedic procedures.

The staff was hospitable and quick to serve and tend to needs of patients. The front office was friendly and helpful. Dr Puttler took time to explain the issue and options for recovery. Dr. Puttler is the most amazing Doctor, he is honest , Sincere and truly Genuine. He cares so much for you and your health, and you can feel that when he talks to you about your injury. The empathy he has is incredible and makes you feel very easy and comfortable when you visit him. It’s so nice to feel you are getting the worlds best care when you visit him. I feel really good after meeting Dr Puttler he seems very knowledgeable and that’s what I need at this time for my knee.

Dr Puttler seemed concerned about my problem with my knee. He also explained to me about having a knee replacement and what I need to do afterwards. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Puttler because he answered all my questions and was not in a hurry to get to his next patient.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Puttler for a few years regarding knee and hip issues and trust him because he is always thorough and always pursues other options before surgery to fix the problem.

Dr Puttler is one of the very few doctors that would do the anterior hip surgery. Recovery time is less than 3 weeks. Dr. Putter is a very good surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone.

When it comes to medical professionalism, I experienced it first hand with Dr. Puttler. From the hello to the diagnosis after the X-Rays and exam, I was treated with respect and spoken to in plain talk (without the medical terminology). I appreciated the opportunity to ask question after question and have my concerns eased. My knee is in good hands! I will also say that my experience with the Bonney Lake staff was friendly and professional as well! A “tip of the cap” to all for making me feel comfortable.

First visit with Dr. Puttler and he was kind, non-judgmental, and ready to figure out what the issue is.

Dr Putler did a hip replacement for me 2years ago. I came to him originally for my right knee this time, however I countered an infection in the hip that he replaced so he is helping get that cleared up before addressing the knee. Dr Putler is very professional and very though. I appreciate his care.

Dr. Puttler replaced my right hip using the anterior approach. He explained everything very thoroughly and the recovery from the surgery was very fast. He also has a great bedside manner.

Prior to surgery with another physician, I went to Dr. Putler for a second opinion. His care was outstanding. He was knowledgeable enough to provide a different diagnosis, which proved 100% accurate. And he genuinely cared enough to refer me to a specialist in Seattle for the necessary operation, due to it's complexity. My wife had both hips replaced by Dr Eric Puttler in the last 4 months, one in January and the other in April. I have two pain free hips, thanks to Dr Puttler and now I can live a pain free, normal life. He is a compassionate perfectionist and takes care during the operation to make thing right. Post-op, he came by each morning to make sure my pain was controlled. Dr Puttler used the anterior, minimally invasive approach which results in fewer post-op restrictions and easier physical therapy. Next month, I can rejoin my exercise class and do Yoga and Pilates. Dr. Puttler patiently listens to questions, is thorough in his explanations, and takes time to make sure you are well informed of procedures and next steps. He is compassionate and makes you feel like you are his only patient through his sincere interest in each step of your recovery. I am very pleased with Dr. Puttler. I am 64 years old and in good health. He performed an anterior hip replacement for me and I am amazed at my quick recovery and the low level of pain, discomfort, and disruption to my normal mobility. I have had several procedures in the past. The moment I entered Rainier I was at ease. I have never had the caring attention before.
