Eric Kossoff

He has a God complex. His primary focus is Keto diet which I understand but his specialty is Neurology with a focus on Epilepsy as well. He has the worse bedside manner aND acts as though you're a bother when you either have questions or don't want to do what he "thinks" you should do as a parent when you know that what he's asking doesn't make sense and will not work for your child. I ask informed questions and boy a firm believer that what a doctor says is gospel when each patient is different. Thankfully we no longer have to deal with him. If you leave it up to him, medications are not as effective as the Keto. There weren't ANY changes that came from my child on the diet. None.

Consulted with Dr. Kossoff for daughter's repeated loss of consciousness to rule out seizure activity. He actively went through medical and symptom history. He listened and identified clues to assist diagnosis. He spent an expected amount of time to explain his diagnosis and reason behind it, nuances to the issues, and ordered appropriate tests to confirm diagnosis. He worked well with parents and had good bedside manner with child. He gave sound mitigation to reduce risk of repeated episodes.
