I just had my 3 month follow up with Dr Jackson after my Chiari decompression surgery. Things were delayed due to Covid, but Dr. Jackson called me regularly to let me know what the status was with opening the OR and just to let me know they had not forgotten about me. Would not let this guy touch me with a spoon, much less a knife! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS NEUROSURGEON IF YOU HAVE A CHIARI MALFORMATION BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT CHIARI. HE WILL LAUGH YOU OUT OF THE ROOM, then you will get a bill for $500 FOR NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Dr. Jackson has been absolutely wonderful through the past 6 months of my medical ordeal. He and his staff are responsive, trustworthy, and very respectful of patients. I would not trust any other neurosurgeon with my care if I ever need Chiari decompression surgery. Dr. Jackson was willing to investigate my issues and using icp bolt monitor determined some of what I have been experiencing is due to spontaneous intracranial hypotension which no other doc has been able to figure out. Dr. Jackson is an AMAZING doctor, he truly cares for his patients, and truly cares for their well being. My daughter is 18 months old and he has now done two shunt revisions on my daughter, he is truly talented in what he does and I am so thankful that my daughter has him as her neurosurgeon.
