Dr. Eric W Blomain

I went to multiple consults in the area and I chose Dr. Blomain because he is very matter of fact and precise. I liked that about him. He made me feel like family but also cared about my mental health and recovery every step of the way. His nurse is top notch and staff was very sweet. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the area. The fact he still teaches, still learns every new technique and is also a general surgeon is very impressive. Even after surgery, he went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the results and continues to do so. Highly recommend.

Dr Blomain is a very Excellent Doctor. I’ve been going to him for 2 yrs. I diagnosed with Breast Cancer. He made me feel Comfortable and helped me with my choices. His staff understands him the best and would only work with the best. I’ve had a scenario, and he had written me a letter with an explanation and apologize because of the wait time. I would wait for a Great Dr any time and I completely understand. Office has a clean, relax and friendly atmosphere. He takes Pride in his work, and the Hospital he works with Moses Taylor. Walked into exam room 1 hour after my scheduled appointment as if his time is more valuable than mine (note I make as much if not more an hour as he does so..). Not even an apology. I was there for a cancer screening as I’ve had a melanoma removed 1 year before (he had my records but didn’t seem like he had looked at them). I had to pick an area I wanted him to look at instead of an actual full screening so God forbid I had something In an area other than what I WAS FORCED TO CHOOSE him to look at. Because he’s busy you know. Saw three moles on my back he thought might grow into something (talked to the nurse about them not me). Instead of taking a slice for biopsy and calling me back with “they are ok or not” he was going to schedule 3 appointments to dig them out of my back one at a time, both taking up my valuable time and basically mutilating me. I will never walk back in that office. I will keep searching until I find an actual dermatologist and not a plastic surgeon!

Dr Blomain and his staff are the best

First time patient. Excellent staff from the front desk, to Gabby the scheduler, Kathy who was my nurse, to Emily the office manager, all first rate. Doctor Blomain explained my condition, explained surgery treatment fully, and listened to all my questions and concerns. I was scheduled for short procedure, out patient surgery, at Moses Taylor Hospital. Once again first rate operating room staff. The entire process went seamless with scheduling & surgery. All involved were very informative and made me feel comfortable, every step of the way.

Dr, Blomain took care of my father who was one of his first patients for that particular radical surgery. He is by far the best of the best. He has an angel over his shoulder when he is in the operating room.

From the start to the continued care I am very VERY pleased .It is amazing how well he eradicated this skin condition my daughter HAD. He is amazing!

There may have been a time when he was a good surgeon but that time has obviously passed. He completely botched a very easy and common procedure. Several other surgeons I spoke with afterwards were stunned by the results he left behind. Before knowing my true feelings about blomain they strongly recommended I avoid him for the revision. I would look elsewhere.

I came in for my scheduled office surgery and was not seen because I did not respond to there supposed voice message to confirm the appointment made the day before. I made this appointment months ago, took a day off from work and expected to have it done. I never received this reminder call. Then was told that could not be seen until July and needed to now PAY IN FULL. Interesting how this was not mentioned at the original appointment. I suggest using a more compassionate office!

Dr. Blomain is absolutely amazing surgeon. I had a breast augment and partial lift procedure and my results were better than I could have imagined. From the planning sessions to the surgery day to the weeks after surgery, my care has been excellent. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

We are blessed to have such a talented surgeon in the little town of Scranton. Caring, precise, perfectionist. He checks all of the boxes!! Facial surgery after cancerous mole removal. Virtually undetectable now! Thank you

Doctor is absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed and treat a condition that would have otherwise went un noticed. After needing a second surgery he even discounted his rate. Highly recommended...just be prepared to wait in his office waiting room, he is a popular man!

long waits! one time an hour and the other hour and a half. charged for visits for things that could be done over the phone or emailed--several times. *long* speeches about obama care and politics. he misplaced my chart and didn't know who i was or why i was there. office staff said i was denied by insurance for surgery. the girl offered to re-submit paperwork for a $50 fee then told me to lose weight. my insurance agent stated they never received anything. she was lying! only wants money!
