In March/April I will be 6 years post op. What an amazing surgeon. He is so gentle with you I felt so humbled after 2-3 attempts at finding a surgeon I felt comfortable with him -Oligodendroglioma (complete/full removal)-NO MORE! Even wrapped my skull as an "envelope" so I wouldn't need part of it shaved :) Definitely recommend him for his patient approach to every single person he meets and every patient gets such individualized care. 100% resection 11/9/2015 !! Oligodendroglioma right pareital/occipital lobe. Sensitive area, recovered with TYLENOL. No headaches or other problems. 2.5 years post op. Had my second 100% resection 8/31/2021, he’s the BEST!! I am a few months post op from a very risky surgery, near my sensory motor strip, and here I am- 100% & back to working, driving and LIVING LIFE. Dr. Chiocca its excellent and save my life. I would recommend him

Amazing Dr. We were told that my husband had a reoccurrence and we were going to be a part of clinical studies, but Dr. Chiocca was the surgeon of choice and said it could be scar tissue from looking at the mri. My husband was scheduled for surgery to remove the tumors, they called me to say that they just found scar tissue! We were so happy! This is the Neurosurgeon to see!
