It's sad to see such kind and compassionate doctor go through being closed. I was involved in 16 horrific surgeries from a car accident. I wasn't able to walk again the way I had before, much less do anything else. I was depressed. He offered more than just a prescription! I was given blocks in my back/spine that have yet to be replicated by any other dr. His worked so that my pills went down to 1/2 what I originally needed. Not EVERYONE TAK advantage of the connotation & kindness of this doctor! OF A KIND DR. BUT IT'S SAD THAT MANY PPL DID!

I was a very long term patient of dr suarez,he was the most caring,compassionate doctor in his field. I have found out that he is retired as of this week. I will always be grateful for 1taking my complex case,which no one else would touch 13yrs ago,and getting me off the overmedicated person I was when I moved here. Doctor Suarez Excellent Doctor and Staff

Dr Suarez has been my pain doctor for many years. He has stuck with me even though I bombard him with questions and take things at my pace with meds (I’m a little cautious). He has been so helpful in helping me find something that will help with a difficult pain issue. He has never given up on me for being a hard case nor has he tried to write me off to someone else to figure out- which i appreciate. My mother got no notice that Dr. Suarez is no longer there. But she did get a voicemail reminding her about her appointment. She was a patient for at least 8 years and has had about 30 surgeries in her lifetime.... This is a very dangerous situation for her to be without her pain managing medication.

This doctor saved me when most others gave up trying to find something that would work on my chronic pain. He did not just push a pill on me. I am not a big pill person so for him to take his time means a great deal and for him to have found something that allows me to function by taking the edge is for me truly life changing.

Dr. Suarez is outstanding. He helped my daughter with her chronic pain, allowing her to live a functional life. We will always be grateful to him. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Suarez for 15 years. I have multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, herniated disc and pinched nerve and arthritis in my neck and lastly a tear I my knee. I've been seeing Dr. Suarez for over 8 years. I'm having a difficult time finding a doctor that understands and will write my prescriptions. The doctor they referred me to can't see me until April 2021, What do we do? No medication for a month and not knowing if you'll get the same medication. I think this is not right to leave so many people struggling and I feel we the patients have the right to know what's going on, especially when they are affiliated with Tampa Pain Relief and they are not helping us

I moved to Miami from South GA. I came here to find a Great Dr. To HELP me, treat me or FIX me! There just aren't many in or around my small home town. My appointment was supposed to be yesterday via telemedicine. My last visit was Feb 5, on a Friday and I was told I would be seen March 3. I never got a call. Then when I called, I heard the voice-mail that the office closed on Tuesday following my last appointment. That's only 2 days after my appointment. I cannot imagine what possibly could've happened. I worry dealing with these kinds of prescriptions and narcotics, that could be why. But why would the recording say they would still do televisits up to just a few days after Tues Feb 9th. I will be out of meds tomorrow. I hope he's okay. But what am I going to do now? I called the offices left on the vm, I cannot reach the office and they won't respond to my emails. I cannot get into a new office without my records. I am so greatful for everything he and his staff did for me.

I was discharged because my medication was not working. The dr waited until I was the last patient in the lobby to come out and have any paperwork without even telling me what it was and told me to sign it I was thinking that he was going to give me stronger pain medication but instead he told me never to come back to his office again I suffer from multiple herniated disc in my back and the doctor that I see now takes very well excellent care of me and the funny thing is the medication that I'm getting now is it a lot lower dosage then I was given by doctor Suarez.. I was also accused of stealing my father's medication which she has severe dementia and we found out that the pills that he thought that was stealing or actually under his bed so this doctor bought me into his private office and told me point-blank why are you stealing your father's medication I was extremely upset and told him that I did not steal his medication. But this I was still sent home with powerful narcotic medica

Dr. Suarez is a compassionate and caring doctor. He listens to his patients and works diligently to help. I have been seeing him for a decade and he has never let me down. I highly recommend him to anyone who cannot tolerate the pain any longer.

For starters, I never ever write reviews but this place needs one, The DR is great and their M.A Yazminda is such a sweetheart ! She was extremely helpful helping my husband and I and I mean extremely helpful basically my husband’s medication is very hard to find we had a bad experience with Walgreens pharmacy we called the Dr’s office and no one seemed to care enough to help us the Dr was nice enough to give us a hard copy script to take pharmacy to pharmacy. Yazminda was the ONLY one to say her time go list by list helping me find local pharmacies that would have his medication. I work at a facility where we have mutual patients and the girls that answer the phone are ridiculous and VERY RUDE. I called and was on hold for 10 minutes i called from a different phone and the girl answered and immediately asked me what i needed not knowing i was the one on hold. which is super unprofessional. Dr. Suarez is a great Dr however his staff is absolutely the worse! I have never is 40 years experience unprofessionalist from any Dr. Office staff. They would not give Dr.message,wouldn't allow dr to speak with other Dr. That calls for days, they literally would not answer your phone calls if your having a issue and trying to follow instructions the Dr. Gives you. I went to Dr. Suarez for my monthly visit with Sandra the nurse practitioner and told her about my problem with arthritis which has been causing me a lot of pain. I didn't think she was listening but she prescribed me something that has made a difference. I always tell my doctors my problems but they never listen but Sandra did and it made a world of difference. So thank you Dr. Suarez and Sandra. It is evening time now I feeling less pain thank you. I thought this place was a great fit due to the fact I have Crohn's disease and need pain management. No complaints about the doc really, so far his pain management treatment has worked well. A few side effects that he wasn't able to answer questions about. His office staff just really sucks! One of his receptionists misguided me sent me to the wrong office only for me to be informed later that it was a different office. Ugh! So I drove about an hour that day to go to two different locations. The correct location on kendal dr has free valet parking. So thats good. But when I got there I had to pee. The receptionist told me to wait that theyd do a urine test. So I wait and wait and wait. She never emerges with a cup like she said she would. Plus there was still a bit of waiting time. They fiiinnnalllly call me in. I speak briefly with the doctor. It was a very short visit. Shorter than the waiting time. I didnt feel all that informed and its hard to know what to ask about a procedure I dont know much about. So I googled the procedure that was to be done after the visit. He really didnt tell me what to expect. The day before the procedure I called yamile, his coordinator. She is no help whatsoever when it comes to asking questions about procedures. Nor is she good with asking him questions and relaying the answers back. She told me there would be only local anethesia the day of my procedure. I was terrified the day of the operation imagining I would have to remain completely still. Luckily, they sedated me. From what I have seen in this office, the receptionists are uninformed and perhaps uncommunicative. They are also unwilling to communicate at least not amicably. Yamile has an attitude, the front desk lady doesnt say much so shes ok. And the doctor seems nice enough, but always seems to be in a hurry. On my second visit I did notice that a patient of theirs was highly upset. She was making a scene about how unprofessional they were and how much pain she was in. I got called in before it got worse, but this is just an idea of what to expect. If youre gonna have a procedure done here tell him to lay everything flat out on the table, what to expect, complications, aftercare. Be blunt with him. Yamile Marquez worked most diligently in our behalf to obtain the needed referral from our general practitioner’s office staff. She is very compassionate and focused. Dr. Suarez is a fine doctor and cares deeply about his patients.

When I moved here 10years ago, I went to 5 so called pain specialists. All of which refused to treat me,due to my injury,medications and insurance. Dr. Suarez, RN practitioners are compassionate. I was new to Miami but a pain management patient in another state x 15 yrs. I visited 2 other practices w/ medical records & recent cervical & lumber MRI results. The other 2 MDs wanted to change treatments, begin physical therapy & injections. I meet Dr. Suarez over three years, I have been disabled since January 27,2003. I have had Dr.s tell me that I am too disabled for them to treat andi have had other doctors that told me that they wouldn't treat me because I have too much going on that they are in fear of treating me due to repercussions from the medical board. Needless to say, it is very difficult to find a Dr. that is giftedly educated and doesn't have the God complex. Its even more difficult to find a Dr. That is knowledgeably effective and compassionate in regards to your suffering. A Dr. like this seems in all likelihood to easily and almost deservingly to have a god complex. However, you won't find this from Dr. Suarez or his one of a kind team. His team is a family of professionals who combine all the needs from a professional staff with and hearts of gold. They are not only willing, they inherently go the extra mile to ensure your comfort as a patient. Being disable for a third of my life, I have found that its a fine line between someone helping you out and making you feel like its compassionate or making you feel like is on the verge of condensating. Of course those are issues that come from not being born with a disability compared to someone that has a disability that it's fairly recent in their life. I have never felt any negative or condensating vibes from Kendall pain management team of excellence. They set appointments and you know you will be seen in or before that time. He never over books and seems to a lot extra time for those daily emergencies that arise in order to respect his patients schedules. This is truely unique for any doctor to recognize, ezpecialy one that is so educated and seems to continually grow thru professional and educational development. I could never list all of the little things that u recognize that Dr. Suarez and his team do to ensure the satisfaction of their patients to feel as good as possible under their tragic situations. Since I was a teacher prior to becoming disabled I tend to expect the best and with medicare insurance I rarely am satisfied. However, I can only say that I have followed kendall pain relief center whenever they have relocated or even when my family relocates. So even when I take the medialcak van transportation and it takes 3-4 hours each way, I have never once resented that time it takes in traveling, because I know that I am going to receive ultimately the best treatment available. In addition, unlike most doctors who may be more concerned with making a living, I truely know that Dr. Suarez is primarily concerned that his patients have the beat opportunity to recover the beat possible way and that he offers his patients a chance to regain their quality of life in a manner that works the best for each individual patient regarding their limitations. I must say I have a lot of extremely intense chronic pain and have been suffering from my injuries since 1998 and in all the years and all the different Dr's I've seen, Dr. Suarez is by far the BEST Dr. I have ever had the privilege to have to help me. Not only does he understand the different types of pain and discomfort we feel but he truly cares about our all in all well being. I admire and am so grateful that he has came into my life! I'm better than I was but still have a long way to go or not. The girls in the front especially Mimi and Francesca are by far some of the sweetest and not judgemental woman and I am just as grateful and appreciative to have them helping me as well.
