Mr. Elliott Theodore Friedman

Dr. Friedman has the worst bedside manner. He is rude, condescending, obnoxious and sarcastic. He does not listen to anything I have to say because he is in a rush and on his own agenda. He thinks his patients are all non compliant idiots.

Dr. Friedman is the best! He took extra time to listen and answer all questions. Professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Husband's blood glucose level is finally going down and soon to be under control.

He is rude and arrogant. He lets his EGO get in the way of good patient care. I would NEVER recommend him to my family members or friends.

This doctor is an absolute joke. I am in the healthcare field and my sister in law just got out on an appointment with this ghoul and her experience was appalling. She went for a biopsy for a tumor in her neck and from the moment she entered the room with him all he spoke about was her weight and how she is lazy and a liar about her diet and workout regiment. He did not do the biopsy and took it on himself to prescribe two pills and order some more lab work before he would do anything. She had already done all the pre-op tests and was advised to go to him for the biopsy. He had all the data sent to his office and the test results were offered to him by my sister in law also. This dolt did not even know how to read the tests! I have heard nothing but bad things about Middletown Medical and was hoping they were just one off issues that people had. Unfortunately, they are probably all true. This doctor and medical group should be dissolved.

Very knowledgeable. I was a borderline diabetic. He gave me a sample of jardiance and also a prescription. Within 3 months I lost 15 lbs and after 6 months my a1c was 5.4. No longer a diabetic. He was very pleased with my progress and discharged me as his patient. Thanks.

Awful. He immediately went into a rant about me not having therapy for my osteoporosis. Well who’s fault is that when he was the one who scheduled my appointment 6 months later. He’s ridiculous!!! I never want to see him again. I’m not a doctor, but I know a crazy person when I see one.

If you require a smiling face and friendly chit-chat, don't go to Dr. Friedman. He is all business. He can come off as curt, but he really helped my mother when other endocrinologists didn't. He does insist on you following his treatment plan, or he won't treat you anymore. Don't let a Primary doctor change his treatment plan without at least a consultation. The only reason I can't rate Dr. Friedman with 5 stars is his lack of friendly mannerisms, but I'll take competent over friendly any day when results are what I need. Not cheerful looking or acting, but he is extremely competent and dedicated. He really helped my mom when other endocrinologists failed.

No bedside manners terrible doctor and his staff is rude!!

I went into his office to show him I had a negative reaction to a medication my skin was covered with red hives. He physically saw this and his rude staff/ nurses! The very next appointment he says explain to me what your reaction looked like! He totally forgot he saw me, yet charged me fully for 10 minutes!! Unreal!!! No one took the time to chart. He’s rude and his staff, they call you with a negative attitude as if your not paying for services. Find a professional!!! Dr. Friedman May come off as, uh, autistic. Social skills are definitely lacking. Can’t disagree with that. However, he is extremely intelligent and knows what he’s doing. Bedside manners aren’t the greatest, but as a 24 year old with gynecomastia, hypogonadism and hypopituitaryism, he placed me on a radical yet inexpensive treatment that resulted in my testosterone going from 74 on a scale of 800-100 to 950. I lost 70 pounds and finally regained my sex drive. As long as you do what he asks of you, he won’t reprimand you. I also find that the longer I’ve been there, the friendlier he is. This was absolutely the worst experience in my life. Her was rude. Did not greet me just walked in and dismissed my child without even a hello. He is abrupt. Speaks to fast to ask questions. And when u finally get a question he gets very angry. Screamed at me bcuz I wanted a second opinion on the meds he wanted to give me right there in the office. Told me while yelling he is the best there is and no need to get a second opinion. Walked out of the exam room slamming the door. Then when he wrote.

He is SO rude. I went back twice hoping he was just having a bad day. Nope. He is just a jerk with a superiority complex!! I had gastric bypass and held my weight within 5 lbs for 8 years then suddenly gained 50lbs in 5 months. He took blood work and because it all came back normal....he told me I had to eat only when hungry and stop when full. Really? Maybe he missed the whole “held my weight within 5lbs for EIGHT YEARS!!!” I had a tumor. Such a jerk. I’m sitting in another doctors office as I write this. Wish I could give zero!!! Rudest man! Didn't listen or want to listen to anything I said! Made assumptions instead of asking or letting me speak! It took all I had not to curse him out!

Extremely rude. Doesn't take the time to actually evaluate and jumps to conclusions about medical history and conditions. Had the audacity to recommend drastic treatment and when I declined, reciting that my lovely Dr. Kats said that I was fixable, he refused to treat me. ?! Patients beware.

Dr . Friedman is a knowledgeable doctor . He is thorough and gives explanations when asked. He will give you good advice . My health condition has improved greatly when I followed the advice .
