Dr. Elliott Hayden Chinn

Seriously, Dr. Chinn and his staff are amazing. I went in for the first time because I had a really bad toothache and my dad recommended him. I needed to have a root canal and they scheduled it for the next day. Dr. Chinn and his staff are kind, genuine and they want to help. Dr. Chinn is extremely competent and he has a very comforting and kind energy. His staff are the same way. I never leave reviews for any doctors, but Dr. Chinn and his staff are truly the best I have ever seen. Even if you live in North Portland Dr. Chinn and his team are worth the drive to Damascus.

Let me start off by saying that the doctor or dentist is an awesome individual super friendly and it makes you laugh. I’ve been going there over the years since I was younger. My last experience there I had a front tooth worked on and noticed a low point or difference on the backside of it with my tongue. I mentioned it to him and told him I felt like a low point or underfill and he told me it was just where the teeth met. I wish I would have had him build it up while I was there because Two days later it shipped off. I cannot and couldn’t afford to get an implant you’re looking at 5K plus. Just thought I would share my experience I know it’s hard to hear for the company but, I am stuck with it for the rest of my life. I had 2 of my wisdom teeth done by dr.chinn back in 2014 and it was a disaster, he didn’t know what he was doing half way through the procedure and had to see a oral surgeon , he told me no other dentist would be able to remove my wisdom teeth cuz they were so impacted ,the dentist I have now had absolutely no problems getting the other 2 out so that was a complete lie . , he messed up my mouth so bad that I have had 2 surgery’s from another dentists to fix what he messed up and will probably have to deal with this the rest of my life due to him . If this is an option that is feasible and practical for you, go with it! I had amazing experiences throughout my time visiting Dr. Chinn. Everyone in the office is so personable, they all made me feel extremely comfortable! Also, Dr. Chinn was fully explanatory of all procedures he was doing and the reasons behind them. The extent to which they went to make me feel cared for, not only as a patient but as a human being, warmed my heart. I truly looked forward to my appointments here!
