In 2013, suddenly my retina detached in my right eye. The E.R. in Kissimmee, FL sent me to Dr. Cooperman. Immediately, Cooperman sent me for an emergency eye surgery where he repaired both of my eyes. Without a doubt, I would be blind today had he not repaired my detached retina in my right eye and found that my left eye was detaching, repairing the left as well. I owe so much to this doctor and am so thankful that he studied medicine and can repair retinas. Thank you, thank you, Dr. Cooperman!!

When four other eye doctors in the Orlando area said that I would be blind in my left eye I went to doctor Elliot cooperman and he said I'm 96% sure I can fix that. 6 years later I see great with my left eye.

Terrific Surgeon, explains so I can understand, very detailed. Saved my vision, forever grateful.

So far I’m on day 3 of my post op due to retinal detachment. Dr. Cooperman is a real professional and truly cares about saving his patients eyes, he came in on his day off!! meanwhile I had another eye surgeon from Osceola regional prior to elliot that told me on a Saturday to come back on a Monday, I was mind blown at the difference in professionalism and real care that Dr. Cooperman and his staff portrayed. I’m eternally grateful God put this incredible surgeon in my corner when I needed one. Dr. Cooperman truly did save my eyesight and I will never see another retinal surgeon other than Dr. Cooperman! Dr. Cooperman is the best. He is dedicated to his patients, his expertise is amazing and I heartily recommend him! In addition, his office staff are courteous and efficient!

Dr Cooperman is the only Ophthalmologist/Retina Surgeon that I will trust my eyes to. He is emphatic and kind and is a great surgeon. He has the power of life and death in his hands. He’s one the Best Drs on Earth , Opened his Office @ 7:00 PM just to examine my eyes ! And on Xmas day to examine my eyes again ! Thank you so much for all your hard work !!!!

I'm a long time Diabetic and had an eye emergency about 5 years ago. I chose Dr. Cooperman based on several "word of mouth" recommendations, and I couldn't be happier. His expert, kind, and compassionate care was exactly what I needed at that moment, as I thought I would be blind for the rest of my life. He immediately took control, reassured me, and let me know he would take care of my problem. Since then I've been back for yearly checkups and feel the care I receive is second to none.

Spent the whole afternoon in the office 4+hrs and I cannot understand the wait time. The nurse staff in the back had attitude and I felt like I was treated with the bare min of care. The doctor just seemed to want my money and had little information to give me and the nurses had no explaination either. Was easy getting an appointment but I honestly would of rather waited a week with another office to get better quality care. The docter seemed tired and annoyed which reflected the way he talked to me and his staff. Everyone there seemed to be just annoyed, even the other patient's in the office. Another patient had told me that this is a normal wait time regardless of the appointment new or follow up. I also dont like that my medical records are floating around on papercharts!!! Made another appointment with a more professional and organized doctor 1:30 hours and was extremly satified with his exam. Dr. Cooperman is an awesome doctor. Very courteous, friendly and warm. However, the wait time is abysmal. I was in the office for almost 2 hours for a dilated eye exam, and that was with an appointment. Doc apologized for the long wait, but I can't understand why it takes so long to be seen. This is my second appointment in 2 years, and had a similar experience the first time around, but my most recent appointment had the longest wait time to date. Perhaps they over schedule... I dunno. I have been a patient of Dr. Elliott Cooperman for almost 25 years. I am diabetic, and have diabetic retinopathy. To know that I almost lost my eyesight and we have been working on trying to save it is a feat in itself. I have had many many many Retinol surgeries all in hopes of saving my eyesight. He’s very upfront and honest with you as to how he thinks your surgeries will turn out, and he will let you know if surgery is not the way to go. Everyone in the office is so nice! And if I had to do it all over agai retinal surgeries all in hopes of saving my eyesight. Dr Cooperman took so much time with us during our time with him and did not stop until he had an answer for us. He followed up and made sure we got the "next step" care. We are so thankful for this wonderful man.

Dr. Cooperman has been a savior for my Dad's eyesight. He treated his WMD for many years and has helped him keep his vision! My Dad has recently moved to Atlanta, and will be seeing a new doctor. I would be remiss in not letting everyone know what a great doctor he has been to my Dad!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cooperman's for 11+ years. He restored the vision to my right eye after I suffered a severely detached retina. My condition involved a detachment of approximately 60%, including the macula and a tear. My experience with Dr. Cooperman has been more than I could have hoped for and I would highly recommend him. Because of his outstanding reputation, the office is very busy but his expertise is worth the wait.

Waited 3 hours to be seen by this doctor. He was rude, unprofessional and lacks bedside manners. His staff lied to us telling us the doctor had an emergency patient. Really? We witness no less than 5 to 10 patients who came in after we did and left much sooner. Will never return.

Very very good and always available if needed .he came in on a sunday for my boyfriend.

Dr. Cooperman worked hard to save my eyesight and did an excellent job. He keeps the patient informed and has a very pleasant manner. I highly recommend him.
