Elizabeth O. Buschur

Dr. Buschur is hands down my favorite endocrinologist, and I previously would drive 6 hours to see my old endo because I thought that highly of him. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and makes healthcare extremely accessible. I’m T1d, pregnant, and recovering dual retinal detachments. She has done so much for me during this time I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. She has also helped me get my A1c down to a 5.7, the lowest it’s been in years. I’m excited for every appointment with her because I know it’s going to be Us bs my diseases, not my diseases vs. me vs. my doctor.

Dr. Buschur was extremely condescending, rude, accused me of lying, and suggested that my 15 year-endocrine history was false. She also told me that I was just fat and looking for an excuse: I had been recently diagnosed with a metabolic disorder that runs in my family and had lost 35 of the 45 pounds from the disorder at that point. WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN! *ALSO, her staff scheduled my apt for the WRONG diagnosis and had the audacity to say that I needed to learn my own medical history

Went to see her as a new patient, after leaving former endo I had for six years. Dr. Buschur was very condescending, rude & dismissive of my medical concerns, and even suggested I was lying about my past medical experiences. And she outright said she wouldn't treat one of my conditions, despite labs & testing confirming (which I showed her), along with YEARS of being treated for it up until my visit with her. I would never recommend her to anyone. Very rude. I'd give negative stars if I could.
