Dr. Elisabeth Aronow

It has been a week since I saw Dr Aronow and had a test done. I have called 3 times four the results with no response. There is no way to reach doctors there via the office staff, just voicemail. Need I say more?

Dr Aronow is the only dr (and I saw many) that truly listened and helped me with my unmanageable bleeding leading to severe anemia . I am so grateful she was able to prescribe a medicine to stop the traumatic bleeding each month. She is super easy to talk to.

I would give her 0 stars if I could - I'm shocked at how unprofessional she was. I chose to go to her after seeing a lot of good reviews about her. First, no one ever answers the phone so you can never get a hold of the doctors office. Then, when I finally get an appointment, I had to wait 20-30 minutes. When she finally came in and I expressed my concerns/symptoms, she got frustrated because I had multiple questions. She rushed me out the door, and after stepping out, I overhear her talking to the other employees insulting me. I waited and stepped in front of her to make her realize I could hear her, and she quickly put on a fake act and tried to be polite. Never again, she does not deserve to be a doctor

First of all, good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Also, I walked in once and ALL THREE receptionists were chatting with each other facing AWAY from the phones. Now I know why I could never get through. I visited Dr. Aronow earlier this year because I thought I had a UTI which turned out to be a relatively serious and chronic pelvic floor dysfunction. The examination was brief and basic. I found out it wasn't a UTI after waiting almost a week for lab results (she said it would only take two days!) and after almost a week of taking antibiotics. The pain still hadn't gone away. I called back and expressed my opinion about what else it could be. She told me that I probably just needed something topical for the irritation. OK, and how is that supposed to treat the pain I am still feeling in my pelvis plus the frequent urination? Plus, after doing some of my own research, it turns out her knowledge is out-of-date, and possibly just plain erroneous. It also turns out I have several

Dr. Aronow seems OK. nice person but she spent more time talking about her frustration with technology than me or reason for my appt. I realized after I left she forgot to do part of my examination. The real frustration is with the office and operational side of business. Was suppose to be given a prescription before I left. It didn’t happen and I thought - ‘oh well I’ll just call them and ask them to call my pharmacy. Not problem - right. Wrong. After several calls I finally got one of the other doctors in the practice that was covering one evening to call in the prescription (luckily I’m not really sick). Now I just need them to respond to my insurance company for a mail order prescription. My insurance company has faxed and called - then reached me to try and call. I have left three messages with all the information they need and asked for a call back confirming it has been handled. They say on their recording (u never get a person) - they return all calls within 24 hours - again Wrong. I still have not gotten a call back - not worth it. Dr. Aronow is caring, personable, and very knowledgeable. I feel super comfortable with her. She is the best gynecologist I've ever had. She really takes the time to talk with you. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Aronow is by far the best doctor I've ever had! She is honest and straight forward while maintaining good bedside manner. I strongly recommend Dr. Aronow for regular care, prenatal, and delivery

Dr Aronow is smart, caring, and extremely trustworthy. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She has cared for me for general gyn care, pregnancy, delivery, and post-op care.
