I had a rhinoplasty/septoplasty by Dr. Gikas back in October and I am absolutely thrilled with my results. At a little more than 3 months post-op, I can finally breathe out of my nose effortlessly. Furthermore, as someone who struggled with daily nose bleeds all my life, I have not had a single nose bleed since my surgery. While the healing process takes time, it was much easier than I expected. The appearance of my nose is very natural and compliments the rest of my face. In addition, Dr. Gikas and his staff will make you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Gikas if you are thinking about having this procedure done.

I got a rhinoplasty with Dr. Gikas a little over a month ago, and I am obsessed! I genuinely can not stop looking at it! Recovery was fairly easy. The first few days were a little uncomfortable, but I only took extra strength tylenol and never needed my prescription pain meds. Dr. Gikas truly took his time during my surgery and created a nose that fits my face. I thought it looked amazing a month ago when I first got the cast off and it looks even better now! He was also very gentle taking the packing out of my nose as well as the cast off and stitches out! I’m so happy that I chose Dr. Gikas and his amazing nurse Sherry!

Got a rhinoplasty with Dr. Gikas. He is truly an amazing doctor, super knowledgeable at what he does. I am 2 months Post Op and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Bruising and swelling during recovery were extremely minimal for me. Barely any pain. Follow ups are always quick and pleasant . They make sure to listen to all your needs and questions. I can't explain how incredibly happy I am to have booked and gotten a rhinoplasty with Dr. Gikas! They are extremely booked, but so worth the wait! From the consultations to the appointments after the surgery, they made sure to know how I was healing and looking. Dr. Gikas made sure to go over exactly what I wanted and diagnosed my nose by giving me a septoplasty as well. I'd also like to mention that during my healing process, I felt little to no pain and had very mild bruising. I used the pain medication maybe once or twice for the 8 days I had my cast and stuck with tylenol here and there. I was so happy I barely bruised and visibly healed after 8 days because I had my sisters wedding a month after. I'm truly thankful to have had Dr. Gikas as my surgeon! December 8, 2020 As early as January 2020, I searched for so many rhinoplasty / plastic surgeon doctors all over Chicago until I got to know the clinic of DR. ELIAS GIKAS thru the internet. I was apprehensive in the beginning but MS. CHERRIE was very nice every time I called. Because of the Covid19 situations, I wasn't able to make a final decision on whom Doctor to trust (out of 20+ on my lists) and to get a NOSTRIL REDUCTION SURGERY. Finally in November 2020, I made a decision and I decided to choose DR. I had an amazing experience with Dr.Gikas! His work caught my eye because of the natural result he achieves. I am an African American patient and I wanted a significant improvement to my nose while also having a very natural look. I am only about 2 weeks out and my swelling has decreased so much. My nose is symmetrical and fits my face perfectly. 3 days after surgery I could even tell that he had done a great job. I really have no complaints. I am back to my everyday life, sleeping is fine, my breathing is amazing, and when I smile my nose doesn't spread as much as it used to which I love. Although Dr.Gikas didn't have any African American patients in his photo gallery I did trust him because he has worked with many thick skinned patients. I would suggest that you let Dr.Gikas tell you what he thinks would work best. When he did the imaging I didn't think that he would really be able to get my nose that small, but I think my final results look exactly like the images he produced for me before surgery. I LOVE MY NEW NOSE! A few weeks ago I went into surgery for rhinoplasty. Dr. Geikas and his assistant we’re very nice to me through the entire process!

Let me first by saying that coming across Dr. Gikas was a blessing in disguise. I did not come to him initially for work but was introduced to him through another Doctor. You, see my story is a little different from some. In 2018, I found that I would need to have a double Breast mastectomy performed. As you can imagine, it wasn’t the best news and I was terrified and felt defeated. My Primary Womens Doctor, Dr. Drugas, was very patient and understanding, and informed me that I will be ok. And with the reconstruction process, she would introduce me to someone that she believed would be just as efficient as herself. That’s when I met, Dr. Elias Gikas. I had so many concerns and questions about what if’s and how’s but every time I mentioned this man’s name, everyone always replied the same way, “ You are in great hands.” And did he deliver on his name! It was not even the reconstruction part of it that wowed me the most, it was the warmth and the compassion that he and his staff had for me. The constant communication, the availability, the flexibility, and his genuine approach to me as if I was someone he knew. I could never say enough about him and what he did for me, and sometimes in the medical field I feel like you can become lost as just another patient. He never made me feel that way. He and his receptionist are God’s blessings, and with 2 surgeries in the same year, I would have never gotten through what I did without them coaching me along. I have had a few surgeries over the years by Dr. Gikas, nothing major but just a couple of things I wanted to take care of. I have always been completely satisfied with the results. He is a perfectionist, I couldn’t see myself going to any other doctor. Highly recommended!

I recently (six months ago) had a cosmetic surgery performed by Dr. Gikas and I was happy with the process and am I extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Gikas and his staff made sure that I understood what was involved before, during and after the procedure in order to get the results that I desired. Everything was fully explained and any questions that I had were answered with honesty. All the required prescriptions were issued well in advance of the surgery so that I didn't need to worry about filling them while recovering. Appointments were scheduled without too much difficulty and ran reasonably on-time and efficiently. All costs were disclosed up front and there were no surprises or later add-ons. As for the surgery itself, I can't say much about it since I was not awake but, based on the results (which are as expected), it was performed with competence, skill and professionalism. My only criticism is with the hospital - Swedish Covenant. Not with the actual care - the operating room facilities and staff were great - but with the billing and administration. If you are only dealing with Dr. Gikas then this will not be an issue but I would suggest that any pre- or post-operative visits that require another physician be taken elsewhere. I have had two procedures done by Dr. Gikas, a breast reduction and liposuction of my chin and neck. Dr. Gikas and his secretary, Sherry, provide a pleasant office setting. My scars from my breast reduction are almost completely faded away. Dr. Gikas took his time and was meticulous in making sure my chin and neck was sculpted perfectly when doing my chin and neck liposuction. The chin procedure was done in the office and was painless as there was a copious amount of local anesthetic injected. I underwent gynecomastia surgery with Dr Gikas. I have dealt with gynecomastia for years, and the level of insecurity that it made me feel daily felt insurmountable. When I came to Dr Gikas, I had never undergone a surgical procedure, and was incredibly nervous. Dr Gikas spent the time to explain to me what operations he was going to perform in meticulous detail, making sure that I fully understood before deciding on a date for the surgery. The surgery went perfectly, and the day that I was able to take off my compression vest, the difference was unbelievable. I felt like a completely different person. As I spent the next few months adjusting, I found myself more confident in my own body image. Dr. Gikas is a phenomenal plastic surgeon and caring individual! He performed rhinoplasty on me exactly a month ago and the results are so amazing and natural looking that I could not be happier! He made the process so easy from the beginning! When I first met him for a consultation he was very honest about what would look most natural to my face and he allowed me to take as much time and ask as many questions as needed. Dr. Gikas performed a septo-rhinoplasty surgery on me and I am so happy and content with the results. I can finally breathe and my nose finally looks the way I have always wanted it to. Dr. Gikas literally changed my life and I suggest that if you can then you should definitely go to him!!! I had the easiest surgery experience! I underwent gynecomastia surgery with Dr Gikas. I have dealt with gynecomastia for years, and the level of insecurity that it made me feel daily felt insurmountable. When I came to Dr Gikas, I had never undergone a surgical procedure, and was incredibly nervous. Dr Gikas spent the time to explain to me what operations he was going to perform, making sure that I understood before the surgery. The surgery went perfectly, and the difference was unbelievable. I felt like a completely different person. As I spent the next few months adjusting, I found myself more confident in my own body image. I can not express the gratitude I have toward Dr Gikas for the level of work he put into my surgical procedure. Gynecomastia felt inescapable, and the results from the surgery show otherwise. Let me first by saying that coming across Dr. Gikas was a blessing in disguise. I did not come to him initially for work but was introduced to him through another Doctor. You, see my story is a little different from some. In 2018, I found that I would need to have a double Breast mastectomy performed. As you can imagine, it wasn’t the best news and I was terrified and felt defeated. My Primary Womens Doctor, Dr. Drugas, was very patient and understanding, and informed me that I will be ok. And with the reconstruction process, she would introduce me to someone that she believed would be just as efficient as herself. That’s when I met, Dr. Elias Gikas. I had so many concerns and questions about what if’s and how’s but every time I mentioned this man’s name, everyone always replied the same way, “ You are in great hands.” And did he deliver on his name! It was not even the reconstruction part of it that wowed me the most, it was his overall care! I can’t thank them enough!

I’ve done rhinoplasty Surgery with him twice and not happy at all. First time I didn’t see much changes and I didn’t like it so he asked me that he want to do one more operation which I think I made a mistake listening to him and doing the second surgery with him. even after second time I didn’t see the result I was looking for and wasted $8000 paying him. I went to Dr. Gikas for a Rhinoplasty to correct my crooked nose and fix a bump on my profile, it was very asymmetrical and looked collapsed on one side. He explained what needed to be done in a simple and understandable manner and was able to do my surgery soon after ( I had a flight soon and was desperate to find a surgeon I trusted that could do the surgery within short notice). Hi everyone! I would like to share my experience. Like every person with a big nose I wasn’t happy with my appearance. Every time someone photographed me I feared how I am going to look like and in the most cases I was very unhappy and embarrassed. Every time my boyfriend looked at me I feared he is looking exactly at my nose. And not only him. I had impression that everyone stares at my nose, analyze my face and laugh at it. That face was uneven, rough, even masculine (I look like men from my family). Finally last year I decided to do rhinoplasty (nose surgery). I wanted to find a doctor who is not far away and I found Dr. Elias Gikas on internet. My experience with him is excellent. He is professional, very patient and devoted to help his patients and make them happy. He approaches to every person professionally. He is expert with extensive knowledge or ability to lead patient from the beginning to the end of the hospital journey. He is also very calm with patients and that meant a lot to me. It was exactly as he described, I was comforted to know that I was in such great hands.
