Great doctor! Very caring.

My daughter was getting strep throat pretty regularly so her PCP recommended we see an ENT about getting her tonsils/adenoids removed. We initially went to Dr Bunting's office. I was less than impressed with his PA's examination, recommendations, demeanor, etc. I talked to her PCP about the ENT PA's suggestions and the PCP did not agree and told me to get a second option. I reached out to other mom's and was referred to Dr Sunderland. We met with him on the initial appointment. He made my daughter feel very comfortable, he answered all my questions about which method he used to do the procedure, he did a much more thorough exam than the previous PA had done. His pre-op and post-op staff were comforting the day of the procedure. It's hard enough to let someone sedate your 6 year old for surgery - but they are truly the best. When I am in pain, I do not appreciate a Dr. telling me oh there is nothing wrong, its neurological. I know my body and I know pain, 2 other Dr's stated there is a perf in my ear drum. dont go to this Dr. for any thing,,

He is extremely skilled in his area. He spends the time necessary for the patient to understand what's going on. His schedule is occasionally negatively impacted by his surgeries.
