The staff is very unprofessional.i called multiple times for the prescription, and they did not respond to my message yet This is not the first time that i have had this problem.

Dr. Dzudza came highly recommended but I've left several voicemails, sent emails and reached out through Facebook and have received no response. Very odd.

I"m only leaving two stars because, for a while, Dr. D was great. Helpful, understanding and got me on meds that greatly helped!!! I would have given him 5 stars BUT, I have now been off my meds for approximately 2 weeks. Luckily, I'm ok and haven't attempted suicide. I've left 2 voicemails AND sent an email but have not received a response. Obviously, when dealing with mental illness, this lack of response is gravely concerning. Horrible Customer Service. They re-scheduled on me twice after being a returning patient. Then I show up on site and they cancel my appointment after taking a co-pay and state, "we are no longer accepting patients, we will call you to re-schedule". #3 days out of work for what? DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I called and they said that they don’t accept new patient, I’ve never heard that kind of thing before..

I never met the doctor so this review is not a reflection of him. I scheduled my appointment and was there on time, but the woman I spoke with on the phone failed to mention that he would be at another location. I call and get a different woman on the phone who said they could still see me if I can be there in the next 30 minutes downtown. So I get about 15 minutes into my drive and call to let them know I’ll be there and get a different woman who tells me a different story, that I can’t speak to the office manager because she’d just left and that they can’t see me because they have another new patient. Then the woman on the phone says to me that they tried to call me the day prior (I did not get a phone call) and started blaming me for my missed appointment, then tried scheduling me a month and a half later. I have never in my life been treated the way that woman treated me, I don’t care how many good reviews this doctor has, she makes it not worth it. Ive never had a receptionist make me feel like such an unwanted annoyance.

Dr. Dzudza was professional and polite and he helped me a lot when I lived in Chicago. Our appointments were always short and prompt and I was never left waiting for a long time, but when I needed to ask him questions about my medications (for example when my husband and I were thinking of having a baby) he was always here to answer them. He works out of two locations which was super helpful as well. Yes, it is difficult to get your first appointment scheduled (as noted in earlier comments) but I would say that is true of any good psychiatrist. Mental health doctors tend to prioritize their current patients over people they have never seen before, so if you would like to be a new patient I would call many weeks in advance. In my case, when I left Chicago it took almost 8 weeks to get an appointment with my new doctor, so I had to use urgent care to refill my meds. The only thing I heard from this doctor is: “There is nothing I can do” He studied to treat robots, ask basic stuff and not care about history or the way I see things happening to me. He doesn’t see souls. Waste of money.

Refused to help me with debilitating anxiety. Told me I could take an ssri or there was no Other option. Also gave me klonopin “until ssri kicked in” (which I had never asked for or taken before) and then acted like I “just wanted more klonopin” when I said I did not take another ssri but that the klonopin WAS helping when taken on bad days. I finally switched to a new doc who gave me an SNRI. Lo and behold I have a new lease on life a few months later.

Dr. Dzudza runs a prescription mill. Some of my visits with him did not even last three minutes and billed my insurance $180. One time I was early for my appt and saw that he spent the same time with others. He has the set of question that he asks you every time, but you can tell that doesn't care about your responses. I also think he might homophobic. At our first session, he asked me if I had a wife as he was going over my intake form, which clearly listed my husband as my emergency contact.

Dr. Dzuda is great. He listens, properly assesses the situation, and does not push meds. Great guy.

Disappointed. Despite his website saying they can take new patients and last minute appointments, I've called 3 times (with 3 voice mails), and emailed twice. No response. At all. This is not how someone who deals with mental illness should run their practice.

Terrible, because I am working on a health project and have a question for him, and I called him three times on different days. Bad doctor. Nice and caring - wants to help people

In my experience Dr. Dzudza is kind, nonjudgmental, a thoughtful listener, and sincerely cares about his patients. He is always flexible in his ability to accommodate individuals living with mental illness from rescheduling to making urgent appointments. I have never had a bad experience.
