Run away! This so called dentist is very unprofessional. The staff very incompetent, I had to call my insurance carrier Anthem Blue Cross to obtain accurate benefits. I took my daughter 1/13/22 to have a crown and she immediately told me they couldn’t get benefits and it was very hard to get of hold of someone live. I’m sorry but that is not my problem; as I mentioned I had to call myself to obtain accurate benefits the day of her appointment. I ended getting a pre-authorization for a crown as she wasn’t able to quote me a price. It’s now 2/7/22 and just received a call from the dentist receptionist stating they are still waiting for eob explanation of benefits. Are you kidding me!? Thankfully I was able to find a different provider MacArthur Dental Arts in Irvine. They were able to quote me a price that same date. I wouldn’t waste my time with this so called dentist. Run away! Run away! This so called dentist is very unprofessional. The staff very incompetent, I had to call my insurance carrier Anthem Blue Cross to obtain accurate benefits. My husband and I have been going to Dr Shim for 7 years and believe she is the best in town. Her skills and patient care are outstanding. She is very detailed and thorough! Her teeth cleaning is a breeze. In my seven years she has never hurt me while cleaning my teeth. That used to happen with other dentists and I would dread going there. She also always advises on what's the best to do for teeth care. Her office is always immaculate and staff members are very caring. The best dentistry in town!

I would like to leave a good review for Dr. Elaine Shim. I have been to her office a few times and was highly impressed by how punctual, friendly and professional her team is. Dr. Elaine Shim is very knowledgeable and skilled; she is definitely one of the best dentists in this area. I highly recommend Pebble Family Dentistry to everyone.

Have been going to Dr.Shims office for years . She is awesome! Staff is always friendly & available. I would always and already have recommended this office to family & friends!
