Dr. Eileen Byrd

Dr Byrd and Shaketa is truly awesome!! I’m so thankful that I decided to give them a try. Not only was Shaketa welcoming, patient, friendly, and detailed when I called to make my new appointment, she made sure to answer all my questions and concerns addresses. Then when I got to my appointment, she was the same and inviting. Then to see Dr. Byrd was an extra blessing. Dr. Byrd was detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and thorough with my foot. She answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Both Dr Byrd and Shaketa was on it with the billing so I knew what to expect before I got there and again while I was there. If I could give a 100 stars I would. I highly recommend Dr Byrd as she is compassionate about what she does.

Dr. Byrd and her office staff are awesome! I was able to get an appointment for my daughter much earlier than anticipated because of the issues she was having. Dr. Byrd was very patient with my 12 year old. She did an awesome job on her feet. She also gave me shoe recommendations for that would help my feet. I have purchased the shoes and my feet are happy! Dr. Byrd has a warm personality and is a meticulous physician. She gave me the most thorough exam my feet have ever had. She took her time to carefully treat the areas of my feet that needed attention. She gave me advice for things I can do at home to help my feet. I would rate her BEST EVER!

My Wife and I brought my 12 year old son to Dr Byrd. BEST DECISION EVER. I had originally made an appointment with another podiatrist that I had used before but I remembered he was a bit "cold" as far as his making me feel like he cared. I was not into the idea of taking my son there so I canceled the appointment and I searched around until I found Dr. Byrd. The high reviews she gets are indeed accurate. My son had some discoloration on his big toes and she explained what was going on and also how his flat feet could be helped with him being very athletic. She had us very comfortable and also laughing. We will be using her services for all our foot needs :-). I can't say enough great things about my first visit. Dr Byrd is very pleasant and extremely professional as she inquires about your issues with patients and sincere concern. Took great care as to insure that I was comfortable while gently working on my feet. I am looking forward to my next visit in 3 months.

Dr. Byrd was phenomenal! I received so much education from her about my feet, I have never received so much information from a podiatrist. I definitely feel like my feet are in good hands! Can't wait to continue to go to her and see the improvement of my feet in her care!

I'd never been to a podiatrist before and was a bit nervous, but Dr. Byrd put me completely at ease. She not only explained what was going on with my injured toe (fungus, yeast, AND mold), but told me those three infections meant that I had an equal-opportunity toe! Our laughter at that helped settle my mind. And I feel sure the recommended treatment will, with time, put my toe in great condition. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

Going to the doctor is scary and waiting for the doctor to come into the examining room just makes for a tense situation. Dr. Byrd calls you in from the waiting room, walks you to the examining room and immediately resolves your problem. She is professional, attentive and very knowledgeable. Let me first start this off by saying, I have never been to a podiatrist and I had a pain at the bottom of my foot that would not go away without seeing a doctor. I first went to a podiatrist in my local area that I will not name but my problem did not go away. After several follow ups with the first doctor my pain actually was getting worse so I was very skeptical about seeing another podiatrist. I went online and after reading several reviews I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Byrd. The the first available appointment was several weeks out so I had to wait a bit but it was well worth the wait. By the time I made this appointment the pain was unbearable and I was basically living on ibuprofens to make it through the day. Dr. Byrd is very knowledgeable and professional. I was reassured that my issue with my foot would be resolved and after my first appointment I started seeing improvement and feeling relief after the first week. By the second week my pain was almost completely gone and now I can truly say that my foot has completely healed. Wonderful Doctor! I have put off the ankle pain that I have suffered through for years and finally decided to see a doctor. When I did my google search, Dr. Byrd had so many glowing reviews, I had to see for myself. There is a reason why she has so many phenomenal reviews, because SHE IS phenomenal. She took her time with me. Listened to all of my concerns and answered every single question I had. You can tell she loves what she does and finds joy in helping her patients. The icing on the cake, she even sent me a text, so I can send her pictures of my shoes at home; she texted me! After her long day at work, she remembered me after my early morning appointment! Dr. Byrd is great! She is very welcoming and hilarious! The office is filled with great signs with various quotes! Very fun! She is very thorough and professional! Already recommended her to someone else! I wish she was a PCP so I could see her for all my health needs! What a gem!

Dr. Byrd has the most amazing bedside manner! She put my 12 year old son completely at ease and made sure she explained everything she was doing so he would know what to expect. We were seen promptly without any wait. She is a very genuine, compassionate person and I highly recommend her!

Amazing experience very honest and aggressive to tackle the issues with my feet I didn’t feel she was a sales person and my feet feel so much better.

Wow, what can I say?? A doctor that actually listens to all of your symptoms BEFORE diagnosing you!! I went to two orthopedics who misdiagnosed me, mainly because they didn't take the time to listen. She has a great personality and super friendly also. Love her!!!!

Absolutely the best! I took my 86 year old dad so the minimal wait time was a plus for an impatient man! She addressed every issue in detail, with compassion, kindness, thoroughness, and a little bit of laughter. My dad is still talking about what a great visit he had.

Initial visit was great, admin staff was very friendly and organized, Dr Byrd was extremely personable and seemed equally knowledgeable. I really appreciated her approach, kindness and the amount of time she spent with me.

Dr. Byrd listens, explains step by step what she doing and using. Also explains choice of treatments. The office is clean as well the bathroom. Everything is excellent I’m so glad she’s my doctor!

Amazing experience. The receptionist was very thorough and kind when answering my multitude of questions before my appointment. When i got to my appointment Dr. Byrd was kind, funny and informative. My feet have never looked or felt better. I'd resommend her to anybody.

Dr. Byrd is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Not only is she extremely professional but also has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend you choose her if you have any foot related issues.

I've had feet problems since I was born. My feet should have been broken and reset when I was a baby, but my parents never had it done. As an adult, my feet started hurting a lot. A few years back, I went to a doctor that had me buy expensive inserts and basically told me I was too old to have surgery (even though I was in my 30's) and that I shouldn't do any activities that dealt with standing up for more than 5 minutes! I went through more years of pain and finally decided to try a doctor again. I searched and found Dr. Eileen Byrd on my insurance's website. After reading all the reviews, I was confident that she was the right doctor for me. On my first visit, she listened to me and showed me how my problems could be fixed and why I was having so much pain. She was very informative, kind and funny. :-) As she was explaining things, she was applying pressure in certain places to make my feet simulate how it should sit. While she was doing that, the pain went away! That let me know right there that she knew what she was talking about. Together, we came up with a plan (which didn't include surgery or me not being active) to resolve my issues. I only had to follow up with her 1 time after my initial visit. I implemented everything she advised and my feet feel so good now that I was able to take a trip to Orlando in March and walk around at the Holy Land Experience, Disney's Aquatica Park and the Kennedy Space Center without my feet hurting!!!!! Dr. Byrd is a patient, kind, and intelligent doctor who took her time by answering all my questions, and then more, as they popped up over a long discussion about what I needed to alleviate pain from 2 lapidus surgeries. She offered suggestions for proper shoe wear and orthotics for overall physical stability and better foot function and topical salves for pain relief. I'll follow protocol and meet up with her in a few weeks to see how I improve. I highly recommend her for her knowledge and expertise. She no longer does surgery but can recommend a surgeon if needed. I've left with bloody feet and no one else to go to. My visits with Dr Byrd have really helped me in so many ways. Great Experience with Dr. Byrd! We were looking for a podiatrist inn Lawrenceville and are very pleased we tried Dr. Byrd. She is extremely personnable, thorough, knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and takes her time evaluating your condition. Her follow-up is top notch and will call after office hours to bring you up to date. We have referred friends and family to her. We have total confidence in Dr. Byrd and trust her judgement. I enjoyed every visit I had with her (even when she had to give me a shot on the bottom of my foot :(). I felt so comfortable with her that i wished she could be my regular physician! Dr. Byrd is an excellent, efficient and not to mention personable podiatrist. I became one of her patients when her office was still on Cleveland Avenue. She and her staff treat and care for you as though you were family. She's very thorough and has great bedside manner. My mom came to visit and during her visit she needed to see a podiatrist. I took her to Dr. Byrd where she treated her as though she was her own mother. We need more healthcare providers like Dr. Eileen Byrd.
