Dr. Edwin Lynn Mccreary

Dr. McCreary is one of the most kind and compassionate doctors I have met. I'm so glad he has become part of our life to help us through this difficult time. I highly recommend him.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer I had to switch insurance and as a result switch drs. It's like starting all over. I was pretty anxious about switching but after meeting Dr. McCreary I am happy things worked out the way they did. He is a very caring and kind Dr. He is one of the good ones.

I'm very thankful for Dr. McCreary. I've been one of his patients for almost four years. He's very thorough, kind, encouraging, positive, honest, etc. He's everything you want in a doctor. Well wishes to you all. ????

Dr. McCreary is a great doctor. I would recommend him, but he is only as good as his team, including the scheduling department. If they call you and you miss their call, they will schedule an appointment without seeing if it works for your schedule. Calling them back or getting a hold of them has been an average wait of 25 minutes for me. Also, when I've asked about details of a procedure, they are very limited to information, and read what is listed on MYChart (which I have read). THIS is NOT good customer service. Dr. McCreary is very compassionate, he takes his time with his patients. He is very thorough with the test that need to be done. He makes a very difficult time a little easier. Highly recommend him.

My brother was a patient that Dr. McCreary placed on hospice care. My brother passed away after 4 days on hospice care on 6/2/21. Dr. McCrearys office called my brothers widow on 6/28/21 asking how he was doing on hospice care. Needless to say my brothers widow was appalled at the fact his attending doctor had no knowledge of his death. He needs to replace his staff member that placed that inappropriate and insensitive phone call and review his policies regarding reporting notification of terminal patients death.

I have been with Dr. McCreary since 2015. He has always been thorough, personable and professional. He has always reviewed my chart each time I've had an appointment and talked to me about everything since the last appointment. He has always followed up with any concern he's had and makes sure he answers all my questions. I've heard him mention being concerned about wait time. He tries really hard to balance care for each patient with timeliness. He helped me through a really difficult time (cancer) with a kindness and know-how that are unique to only him. He won my trust by being a physician who stays current in his field and gives his all everyday. I have always felt that I hit the jackpot with him!

Wonderful staff and very knowledgeable Dr and nurse. Does their best for my dad to feel comfortable while going thru the scariest thing in his life. They are EXCEPTIONAL at working with him even on his "not so nice" days. They truly understand the process and do their best to help us understand it as well. The nurse (Kim) WILL return your calls between pts on days u need them that u dont have an appt. They are accessible which is crucial when you need them. if one has the unfortunate situation of cancer, the best doc is dr. McCreary.Yes, there is a wait at times, but well worth it, as he is taking time for all his patients.I have complete confidence in his wisdom, and know he is empathetic towards your situation. Staff great as well.

I have been with Dr. McCreary since August 2014 and he has helped me through 2 battles with breast cancer. I love him and Nurse Kim they always take good care of me and listen to my concerns.

Dr McCreary is very personable, caring and compassionate. He takes time to listen to you and makes sure you understand everything that he explains. He has always asked if he’s answered all my questions and concerns. He’s one of the most caring physicians that I have ever had. He has been behind and I’ve had to wait but from my experience it’s because he makes sure his patients needs are met and treats you with respect and answers questions. He doesn’t try and cut you off so he can hurry and get to the next patient like most dr’s. I definitely recommend Dr McCreary.

Does not value patients time as waited up to 2 plus hours each visit or quality of life—did not look for complications from treatment etc. After asking for 2nd opinion, considered himself fired and would not continue treatment. Would suggest to other patients to start with a different provider.

Dr. McCreary was very caring and the care and treatment provided was excellent. He really cares for his patients and this comes through with his staff as well. He talked to colleagues doing research for my particular cancer, conferred continually with my surgeon, and researched different methods for my situation. I avoided taking some medications that I might have routinely been given due to his keeping up with the latest research for my condition. I am a six-year survivor and very grateful.

Excellent physician but very poor time management. EVERY appointment is at least 1.5 hours wait from scheduled time.

Dr. McCreary has to be the nicest most caring man I've ever met. Both he and his staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and address all of your questions or issues. Everyone in his office seems to truly care about each and every patient. I am so happy that my surgeon sent me to him.

He missed a stage 4 diagnosis in my case from not reading the scan and relying on the report instead. He is a sweet man though.

The positive, caring manner of this doctor combined with his qualifications make him a trusted partner to establish an individual treatment plan with the best possible outcome. The respect and focus he gives each patient exceeds every standard of care.
