Edwin Liu

I’ve been a patient at Children’s for several years, and Dr. Liu is one of the most kind, compassionate, and creative doctors I have seen there. He takes the time to listen to me, and approaches GI issues using a holistic, multi-system approach. He acknowledges that I’m “an expert on my own body,” and works together with me to improve my symptoms as a team. I truly feel so blessed to have found such an amazing doctor to work through complex GI issues together with!!

Dr. Liu is one of the most outstanding doctors I have ever interacted with. He truly takes the time to sit down with his patients and evaluate every aspect of their health that could possibly be contributing to a condition. He is loved by his patients, and well known throughout the hospital in numerous specialties because of how willing and determined he is to find root causes of tough cases, even if it means reaching out to other professionals. I am so thankful for Dr. Liu and the work he does

Dr Liu listened with compassion and empathy. He validated all symptoms and told us he will work to figure it out even though my son is complicated. Other Drs at Childrens missed completely what he is now sure of...I can only say this Dr has my highest praises! If only all Drs were like him. Bottom line this man is wonderful at what he does...I will be telling everyone.

Dr. Liu is conscientious and tenacious. He works tirelessly to seek answers and resolve issues for kids that have health issues that are not easily diagnosed or treated. My daughter has postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), or dysautonomia. The symptoms are often fluid and frustrating. Dr. Liu remains available and is responsive to questions, despite his heavy patient load and responsibilities. He is willing to reach out to other experts (this illness impacts multiple systems).

Dr Liu is one if the most caring, compassionate Dr's we have taken our son to. He genuinely cares and takes the time with you to listen to what you are saying so he can better understand what is going on with your child. It's always comforting to know that we can rely on him. The best!!

Wonderful bedside manner. A caring, intelligent gastroenterologist that is great with kids. Couldn't ask for more!
