Dr. Edward P. Miranda

3 years ago my dog accidentally nipped the bow of my lip completely off. Lucky for my Dr. Dudas was the on call plastic surgeon that night. While there was nothing he could do for me that evening ( I didn't even meet him) I was sent home to let the swelling go down and I was instructed to meet him the next morning at 7am for repair at his officel Alex met me out front. I was a wreck, anxious and upset and worried I would be permanently disfigured. Both Alex, the nurses, assistants and Dr. Dudas were amazing, kind and reassuring. Dr. Dudas continued work on my lip until he thought it was perfect. In fact, asking during the procedure if he could administer more anesthesia and keep going to get it event more perfect. What a perfectionist!!! We had no relationship and he had no reason to care about me other then his on good heart. While my lip is not the same, if you didn't know me before, you really couldn't tell. He did amazing work and his kind and caring demeanor and that of the staff is unmatched. Additionally, my daughter needed an emergency appointment on a Friday for another issue and he fit her in as a new patient to deal with an issue caused by a dermatological surgeon. He was kind and reassuring and gave us a path for her treatment. I would hands down recommend this practice to anyone looking for the best care in San Francisco or anywhere really!! You don't have to be looking for anything fancy to get great care here. And when I am ready for my facelift I know where I am going....:)

Absolutely the best experience. Everyone was fantastic, supportive and really helpful. Everything about my experience was amazing and would recommend to anyone. I waited 20 years to do this, although mad at myself I didn't do it sooner, the Doctor and practice was worth the wait!

Dr. Miranda and team are very experienced in what they do, and they take time to answer any question the patient might have. They also make honest recommendations for what is best for the patient.

The entire team here is absolutely incredible. The process from beginning to end was seamless and they were around for every question that popped up along the way. Dr. Miranda's work is also unmatched and I'm beyond happy with the results!

I had a minor scar revision surgery with Dr. Miranda in Aug 2021 and am pleased with the results so far. I would say the results are better than I expected. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the experiences I've had with the support staff at his clinic and the other non-surgical procedure I had done while under his oversight. There is room for improvement that can be made with both his front desk and support medical staff. Communication seems to be an Achilles' heel.

I had a consultation for my breast augmentation. Honestly I wasn’t expecting that doctor Miranda and his assistant would be so amazing and so welcoming. I felt it’s a safe place to trust in this such a big decision. I loved that experience and can’t wait for my day to have a look I have always wanted. I am very impressed and excited!

Finding a plastic surgeon willing to accept worker's compensation was a bit of a challenge, but I was so very happy when I found out that I could be treated at Pacific Plastic Surgery Group! I came to Dr. Miranda for a facial scar revision, and from the moment I arrived I knew I was in great hands. I was nervous because I have melanated/ African American skin, and I was worried about finding a doctor that knows how to work with ethnic skin....especially on the face. The office is clean and sleek. The front staff are friendly and responsive, as well as all of the medical staff. I received several calls leading up to my appointment for my procedure making sure I knew what to do to prepare. My prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy the week before the big day too. I love that the the surgery center is in house! No seperate trips to the hospital, especially with Covid going on. The day of my procedure the nurses made sure I was informed and comfortable. Everyone who interacted with me was professional and had great bedside manner. I have no recollection of the procedure but was given just the right amount of sedative. I was alert and able to move under my own steam minutes after being brought-to. After coming home staff called and checked on me several times over the course of a few days, and reminded me of my follow up. Dr. Miranda's work is super clean and neat; I am so happy with it! Dr. Miranda told me that I will always have a scar there, but that his job was to improve it and make it as inconspicuous as possible. It takes a full year minimum for a scar to mature. So, have a ways to go with the natural healing process as my new and improved "Mirandized"scar matures. I will update this review when I have before and after pics in the future. I got a forehead reduction with Dr Dudas 3 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. If you’re feeling insecure about your forehead, that feeling will not go away until you do something about it. Dr. Dudas knows what he’s doing. I recommend him 100%

Would have no other surgeon due surgery on me except Dr. Miranda. He is the best. I trust him explicitly!

I'm not your typical Aesthetic patient for Plastic Surgery, although I wish I was! I came to Pacific Plastic Surgery Group from 3 hours away, needing urgent muscle biopsy. They accommodated my neurologist's request, did everything and put me on the schedule right away. Furthermore, they arranged for the biopsy specimen to be picked up and taken to the pathologist, timed just right. A lot goes on behind the scenes that patients have no idea! Everyone was kind from check in to discharge. I was able to get my treatment started two days earlier, thanks to Pacific Plastic Surgery Group and Dr. Miranda. Forever grateful!! Exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy staff. Clean, modern facility

I was hit in the face by a softball. The impact caused me to bite down on my tongue and split the front tip. Dr. Miranda just happened to be at the hospital I was at for the emergency room. He stitched up my tongue and had me check back with him a few days later. The day we met for a follow up is the day he told me that part of my tongue wasn’t healing and needed to get fixed. They fixed and reconstructed my tongue and sent home with care. Since the surgery, they have shown nothing, but concern on my healing. They go the extra distance to put the patient first. Dr. Miranda and his team made my family and I feel extremely comfortable and in good hands during a recent experience. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and caring. He and his staff were great with our daughter and cleaning and repairing her injury - insuring she was comfortable and feeling safe throughout the entire procedure. It made my wife and I completely confident and relieved during and after her accident. Dr. Miranda followed up with us to see how her progress was a few days later and his PA, Beata did a fantastic job taking out her staples 10 days later. There is no visible scar and her hairline looks just as it did prior to her needing staples. Dr. Edward Miranda was chosen by the surgeon who took a tumor out of my abdominal wall to be the one to reconstruct the abdominal wall. It was a very long and difficult surgery and he did a superb job. I was lucky to be in such capable hands! Brilliant.
