I had an appointment in two weeks to get some work done. My tooth decided that it wasn't going to wait. On Saturday evening the pain became unbearable. I called Sunday morning and left a message. My hope was that this would help me get in early on Monday. Dr Liu returned my call a couple hours later and after talking to me for a few minutes decided he would come to the office on a Sunday and help me out. Thank you Dr. Liu for going above and beyond. THEY LIE TO YOU ABOUT PRICING and covered procedures, they are not in it for the patients they are in it for the insurance money. its one surprise bill after another. Save your time money and sanity. (Also notice that most of their positive reviews are from people with only one review.)

I had complications with treatment I received here. He is more interested in profit than treatment. Don't trust these reviews, as they send out emails to all patients asking for reviews in exchange for gift cards. When I went here, the staff was arguing back and forth and had no idea what they are doing. Try another place.

If I could give zero stars then that still wouldn't be low enough. Dr. Liu had zero interest in making my dentures fit. He eagerly took the states money for them though. I informed him that they don't fit and something is wrong with them. He said I had to pay $350 for an x-ray. No thanks, I'm pretty sure the State of Michigan paid you enough to make sure my dentures fit. Its been almost 4.5 years and to this day I don't have any dentures that fit. State won't let me get another pair either as they just paid for this pair. I hope Dr. Lui knows that he has ruined my life for the past 4.5 years. I hope that money was worth it to him. He takes innocent peoples money and doesn't deliver as promised. PLEASE AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COSTS!!!! He is more interested in profit than treatment!!!! This is a more than a fair review for this unprofessional Dentist who yelled at me while in his chair getting my teeth worked on. I had to go back to him 3 times to keep fixing the same tooth he made a mistake on to my final visit which he left me uneven and unhappy not to mention in pain still today. My teeth are my pride and joy but now I hate them and wish I would of never gone to this dentist. As his practice as grown bigger he has been able to maintain the same level of attention to his patients as when he first opened his office. I have found Dr. Liu service to be spot on. I have been a patient of Dr. Liu ever since he took over the practive of Dr. Tatro. I debated on staying as a patient since I had move out of Holt a couple of years earlier. But I thought I'd give him a chance. I have been with him ever since, and am so glad I stayed!!

My daughter's teeth have always had problems. She's had several molars pulled, fillings, decay .. she's never been afraid or hesitated to see the dentist though. Thank you, can't wait to see y'all after the lockdown.

For my last visit, a new hygienist, Marcus, cleaned my teeth. He is very knowledgeable and helpful and did an excellent job! He also had a lot of good advice. I was very pleased with his service. For many years I have gone to Dr. Edward Liu's office after my old dentist retired. Dr. Liu shows compassion, listens to the patient when there is an issue. I've had several issues over the years and always walked out with a smile on my face. The office staff is great also, caring and will get you in as soon as possible for emergencies. We moved from TN to MI and I was really nervous about finding a new dentist. I went online and found Dr. Liu had all positive reviews so I booked a cleaning appointment with him. He spent over an hour with me listening to all my concerns about my teeth and all the work I have had done previously. He gave me options and I chose one that I am so excited about. I originally met Dr. Liu and his caring staff when I needed to find a dentist for my 94 year old mother. She has dementia and is easily upset by going to new surroundings. Dr Liu and his staff were so thoughtful and caring to her and her needs. After her appointments mom would say how she really liked Dr. Liu. It was after I witnessed what a caring professional he was, that I then switched dentists and started going to him as well! I have had bad experiences with dentists over the years and was thankful to find one that was considerate to how I was doing . Always on top of everything, and very good with all procedures. Very kind and helpful with caring for my teeth. Very good with explaining certain problems. Would recommend to any friend or family member.

From cleanings to crowns to implants, Dr. Liu and his staff do it all. It took me 6 months to find him. It was worth the search. All the other dentists I spoke with could only perform one or two of the things I required and would necessitate me going from two to three different offices. Here, I can get everything accomplished by the same staff. That makes my life and time away from work much easier. Go team Liu.

My last visit included a cancer diagnosis and Dr. Liu was very compassionate and helpful in setting the rest of my journey in motion. He was interested in my treatment that included surgery, chemo, radiation, etc. All of my appointments have been through and as painless as possible.

I have been a patient of Dr. L for the last 5 years and I will never step a foot into his etablishment again. I cannot even comprehend what I had just encountered this morning at 8:05 am. I got my wisdom teeth done on 1/27/16 at 2 oclock. After surgery I felt fine, anout 2 hours late I decided that I could eat and wasn't so numb. To my surprise I couldn't eat or drink because it hurt to much to swallow. I didn't have any pain by my teeth, just an extremely sore throat, my right side lymph node was a size of a golf ball and it hurt to move my head, along with sharp ear canal pain. I tried to cure it by taking another vicodin. It felt like an extreme case of strep... I was in tears just hysterically crying because I couldn't eat or drink anything...after 10 hours of just pain. when the dehydration got so bad I went into the ER at 3am after not being able to drink or eat for 24 hours. I was desperate to eat. I was treated for my dehydration with saline drip, antibiotics because my white cell count was up, pain medicine, benadryl and an anxiety sedation. The ER doctor took a look at my ears and throat and we're worried so they decided to take a CT. Hours later they said they saw a 1cm abscess and wanted to speak to my dentist regarding follow up... he did not answer. So skip a couple hours later right after the office opens, mind you I had to call him, DR.Lui answers... I told him my name and that I was having problems. He interrupted me and the first thing he asked about my care was... why would I go to the ER, they're not dentist... that they're not certified and was using an accusing tone, as if I was trying to stir the pot. He went on a rant, asking over and over why I would go in to somewhere like that. He spoke to me like I was uneducated "Its going to swell, and your teeth will hurt, did you forget you have surgery today?". He wouldn't let me get in a word about my situation... that it wasnt regarding my teeth but a hurtful abscess that has my body on defense to the point I can't eat. He decides to tell me that the ER is trying to take my money... and it's not an abscess but density that they habe no clue what theyre talking about. He than recommeds that i see a new dentist. At this point I'm starving and thirsty and give into defeat... I will never attend Dr.Lius dentist office and will repeat of his unruly bedside manner to anyone I cross. Ivee already sent in my CT scan to an oral surgeon and have gotten the reply confirming the ERs story for my "invisible abscess" that does not exist. I wasn't accusing him of malpractice on the phone, all I wanted was him to review my CT scan and see what the next step was. Had many fillings done by him only to have them chip off shortly after. He re did a few free of charge (I unfortunatly let him) . Those are all bad fillings now I have to get re done yet again. A lot of time, money, and pain, wasted. Horrible experience. I do not even want to go to another dentist as Im afraid the same will happen.

All I wanted was a small chip in my front to be filled and the job was a horrible job I can't believe he did my tooth the way he did, he didn't do the tooth right it was shorter than the other two he filed my good tooth down to fit the filled chipped tooth which was short and now it is the tooth that he was supposed fill for chipping is chipping again so I would not recommend him To friends or family.

Have not had him do any implants. Had him do a crown. I felt something sharp when I ran my tongue across the crown and questioned it 3 times before leaving his office. He even checked it again twice. I kept saying something is wrong. He said nothing was wrong. I went to another dentist he told me the crown was chipped. Also it was inferior cheaper product then what he uses. I had that crown replaced with a new crown by a different dentist. I have a picture of the crown that was chipped. The picture of the crown was visible to the eye. Shame on Dr Liu for lying to me.
