Edward Alan Lewis

I saw him for back pain. He was to give me a lumbar branch block in my spine. If it didn’t eliminate my pain by the next day, I would be scheduled for #2; if that didn’t work, then I would get set #3. If, after those 3 sets, I still was in pain, he would surgically insert a Vertiflex device in my back. Each necessary appointment was to be about a week apart. After #1, Dr. Lewis was to order a prescription for me; his office would call me the next day to see how I was feeling. During that call I told them I was no better and asked where my prescription was. Dr. Lewis admitted he neither ordered my prescription nor recalled what he was going to prescribe; the MA told me wasn’t unusual for Dr. Lewis. This and the failure to schedule injection #2 alarmed me. My pharmacy told me opioid patches had been ordered after I told the doctor I didn’t want opioids: also, opioids are contraindicated with my other prescriptions. I have filed a complaint against Dr. Lewis with the NC Medical Board.

Went hack for my 2nd hip ablation in 5.5 months. Pain lever was a 7 when I went in and left inc ZERO pain. I know at some point I will need surgery, but this affords me the quality of life until then. Dr. Lewis is the best for me at what he does. All done without steroids!!! All I can say is if you are in pain and need relief temporarily without surgery, then you need to see Dr. Lewis at the Pardee Hospital Pain Department. If you are living with pain, then you need to visit Dr. Lewis and find out what it;s like to be pain free. For me it's a no brainer!!! Went hack for my 2nd hip ablation in 5.5 months. Dr. Lewis is an excellent Doctor. He takes time to speak and reassure you of the procedure that he recommends. He's efficient and extremely competent when performing said procedures. Dr. Lewis has helped my pain and I will continue to be his patient! I highly recommend him! He has a great staff as well! Thank you

Dr. Lewis understands my pain; and using radio frequency ablation, he calms its source and gives me opportunity to remain active. During my ablation I feel totally confident in him, and I am grateful for his medical knowledge and intuitive skill. My overall health is better because of his ability to understand my rather complicated medical history and take a proactive stance to give me relief. Thank you, Dr. Lewis!

I can't say enough about how Dr. Lewis has helped me with pain management. He's kind and caring and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him, he's a Godsend!

Dr Lewis was fabulous on my 1st visit to the pain clinic. He narrowed down where my pain nay be coming from and ordered appropriate tests to be done. He was very professional and courteous.

The office staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The nurses are genuine concerned and respectful. I'm not sure why the negative reviews but my husband and I just saw Dr Lewis. He took extra time to answer all of my questions and make sure I was aware of all the possibilities. I am pregnant and he in no way tried to encourage me to do anything that might have a possible risk. He even encouraged me to go to my chiropractor first to see if that would help before prescribing something or doing an injection. I could hardly walk Nevis of the passion in my left hip. On a pain scale of 10 o was a 15. Dr Lewis did RF Ablation on my nerves and I am pain FREE. If you don’t go then don’t complain!!! Should have done this a year ago. Thanks doc. Sing you praises daily. If your in pain go here first, you won’t regret it!!!!!

I have been coming to the pain clinic for several years. My doctor Eric Rosalski is the best. He always listens to my concerns. And is always very attentive to do what's best for me. Rebecca at the front desk is a sweetheart. Anytime I have called the office my issue is greeted with the utmost importance. Thank you Comprehensive pain clinic for all you do.

what a great experience that i have encountered through this facility. joan is always thorough with me. she is such a joy to see first thing at the counter, and she always follows up. she exceeds my expectations always.

Always provides excellent and professional compassionate care to me when I come in. He has been able to help control my pain for which I am most grateful. He and his staff are always pleasant and welcoming during appointments.

When I first went to see Dr Lewis I was dying. 3 years later I'm in remission in two different diseases and bc of Dr Lewis getting my pain under control allowed this to happen. He got one of my pains under control that I was told was impossible to do. He worked with my palliative care dr on my pain meds and gave me two pain simulators. You just have to give him a chance but he will help you. He helped me. He saved me in more ways than he will ever know.

He placed a device in my back that would help control my pain with electricity. The trial one worked wonderfully. When I went to have the permanent one placed is when my problems started. Right after I came home I realized if I placed my arms anywhere from my shoulder area or above I would get shocked so bad it would throw me on the floor. I went back and forth for over a year trying to get it adjusted. He swore to me it just needed to settle. The pump did help my pain but hitting the floor in stores, restaurants, at home was killing me. It happened every single day. I asked him to fix it and he refused. I had to find another Surgeon to go in and remove it. I would not send my worse enemy to Dr. Lewis. He placed a device in my back that would help control my pain with electricity.
