I had tendinitis and no cartilage at the joint between my thumb and my wrist.. Doctor Cole injected cortisone in my pain is completely gone..

Great experience to immediately relieve wrist pain as well as comprehensive post-op care

Did my first hand surgery approximately 17 years ago. It was a simple procedure and there were no complications. During the pre-op visit, when he was going through the consent form, he got to the end and hesitated. He slowly explained to me that I could die, which is what you hear with new drug commercials on TV. I knew that, so it was not shocking. He then told me he had never killed anyone with hand surgery. Priceless. 17 years later, my other hand needed the same procedure. He read the medical record and realized we met 17 years ago. I told him I liked what he told me and so I was overwhelmingly compelled to come back. He said, "knock on wood, my record still stands". He finally found some would underneath a counter to knock on. The surgeries went well. The recoveries were a snap. I'd go back to see him in a heartbeat if I have anymore problems with my hands. My surgery was minor. Very accommodating with appointments. Dr Coale was so personal, took his time and discussed the upcoming procedure completely as well as all my options. Surgery was a complete success with required Theropy training and testing. He's a great doctor and all of my experiences with others there were the best

Dr. Coale did help me with two hand related issues expeditiously. He also has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended!

Endoscopic carpal tunnel release. Everything went well. I do recommend open surgery as the scar for endoscopic is sitting on some nerves. Recovery was faster with open. Dr. Coale was excellent for either and I highly recommend him

On advice of friend, had Dupuytren’s surgery done on hand. Excellent outcome, minimal scarring, and healing well. Excellent surgeon and physical therapy (Andy) depar5ment.

Dr. Coale was personable and comforting when I found out he was going to give me some cortisone shots. I don't love needles. I barely felt what he did, and he was excellent at distracting me. I just realized a couple of days ago that my "trigger finger" is entirely gone! Woo hoo!

Left ring finger was down about 30 degrees. Experienced palm pain when using hand tools. Since the procedure my finger is able to stand up with all the other fingers. Scare on palm or hand is undetectable. No pain at all at any point during or after the procedure. As one can probably tell I am very pleased with Dr. Coale and his staff. Dr. Coale provided clear, concise information regarding my injury and viable treatment and/or repair options. Upon arrival, the staff at the surgical center assisted me with kind attention to what was needed: from me (in the nature of forms and patient instructions) and for me (providing comfortable, private bedspace for more forms and preparation for the OR). Dr. Coale came in with additional information, instructions and assurance regarding the procedure. Every staff and surgical team member was supportive, positive, and caring. The anesthesiologist provided further necessary information and instruction. All went very well and I awoke in recovery feeling groggy, of course, but very comfortable. More staff came to assist me to 'checkout; Dr. Coale came to review with me how surgery went, and sent me home with additional instructions and good wishes. Carpal Tunnel and ulnar Entrapment surgery were a complete success. Numbness and tingling in fingers and palm completely gone. Pain radiating down my arm is gone. Finally after 2 years of discomfort. Highly recommend Dr. Coale.

I fractured my left wrist snowboarding and was told I needed surgery. Rebound got me in to see Dr Coale the day I called and I had surgery the day after (only 2 days after my injury)! Talked about thumb joint surgery. Dr. Coale did an excellent job explaining my options and what symptoms to look out for. He also provided some temporary pain relieve. Have been his patient for several years.
