Dr Garcia is one of the most approachable neurologist I have had. Actually seems to care about you and getting you to feel better. When I get down about my migraines he reminds me of where I was (28 migraines a month) and where I am now (8 a month). Aways responds to emails and does telehealth which I appreciate.

If you want a doctor who ignores you, spends time looking at his watch and his beeper than this is your guy. Doesn't even pretend that he is listening to your questions. Spent most of his time with his back to me pontificating to his intern. Had already made a diagnosis before walking into the exam room.

Find someone else. I was in complete agony from cluster headaches -- the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life, and I told him that. I begged him for help after our first appointment (when he insisted they were only migraines), and he wrote me back telling me to "keep messages short", and prescribed me medication that interfered with other medications. After a few rounds of this, I gave up and found another neurologist who actually helped me. Save yourself the time and agita and find someone else. And for the record, I have never written a review about a doctor before in my entire life (generally I am very easygoing, really) , but I was so appalled at my experience here, I feel obliged to save others the experience.

Dr. Garcia left me without care even though I was experiencing Seizure activity weekly! He knew I was having Seizures yet never contacted me. I therefore had to get another Neurologist!

If I could give Dr. Garcia a -5 stars, I would. I had a very unpleasant experience with him as the on-call doctor. He was offensively rude to me, as if I was bothering him. I asked him for a referral and he said “I don’t do that for a living”! He is a neurologist that perpetuates the stereotype of neurologists notoriously having zero bedside manner. I feel sorry for his patients.

This doctor deserves the highest rating without any hesitation. Anything less must imply a reflection of characteristics of a difficult patient, not the highly regarded qualifications and talent of the doctor. I have been enduring many years with a tremor worsening over time, and never diagnosed correctly, unable to resolve. Dr. Garcia was able to determine within a first visit, and gave a thorough, helpful, and highly coherent explanation of the condition, as well as advice and prescription to alleviate symptoms. I already have experienced a dramatic improvement to my condition. I can honestly say Dr. Garcia has effected a fantastic positive change to my life. He absolutely was accurate in his assessment and I am so very thankful.

Smart, caring physician with warm bedside manner. He has seen my son for multiple concussions and neurological issues. He thoughtful & very responsive. Highly recommend. We feel grateful for his care.

My son who has autism starting getting seizures. I was worried and nervous . When I went to Dr. Garcia, he didn't like my many questions. At any rate he told me I was the cause of the autism. I never went back to that horrible man.

As other patients here have mentioned, I was charged for missed appointments that I was not notified of. The unhelpful staff then refused to cancel the charge despite admitting their mistake. As for the care itself, I was merely referred to a specialist with more knowledge, a complete waste of my time.

I had been a patient for Sleep Apnea. FOUR MONTHS AGO PRIOR TO MY scheduled appointment I called the office and asked because of illness if they would prefer me coming in or rescheduling. They thanked me for not coming in and rescheduled. The reschedule date was so far forward I could not make my annual certification for equipment. There was no issue until his office was informed that a provider would take me immediately. I was THEN billed for a missed that they told me to reschedule.

I found Dr. Garcia very caring and very thorough in his exam.

I went to see him with neurological symptoms. He told me that if I ignored them, they'd just go away (implying that they were psychosomatic). He told me I was depressed (not true) and that maybe I should go on Prozac. Would he have said the same to a man? I don't know, but it was very insulting, and it did turn out that I had an actual disease that is characterized by neurological symptoms. Even if he's good at something (which I didn't see evidence of) his bedside manner is terrible.

Not helpful at all. Seek care elsewhere, even if there is a wait involved.

He doesn't know how to empathize with patients as they go through difficult situations either dealing with/discovering they have epilepsy. Also he isn't good at explaining the actual issues and how it's affecting you. He would run tests and I'd never hear back with results. There was an incident where I called him after hours after being forwarded by the calling center and he lectured me on how my concern about my immediate health was inappropriate due to the time and asked that I not call again
