Avoid at all costs. Dr doesn't care, staff doesn't care.

100% agree she is a work comp shill who's sole purpose is to delay and refuse treatment. Her demeanor is rude and confrontational. Please do not see her if you can avoid it.

Faithful to the employer, while the employees suffer. Terrible patient care! God is a God of justice! This woman cares nothing about that!

Physiatrists diagnose and treat both acute pain and chronic pain and specialize in a wide variety of nonsurgical treatments for the musculoskeletal system. Referred by work comp Dr post MRI. Refused to discuss MRI results with me. Asked my pain level on 1-10 scale. I reported 9/10 related to spasms and chronic pain. Her reply, and I quote, "Let's redefine the pain scale so you understand it. A 10/10 is me amputating your leg with no anesthetic. What is your pain level?" As an experienced nurse, I was appalled by the statement, followed the revelation that she doesn't actually treat pain. She referred me right back to the work comp Dr. with a recommendation for me to be referred to a physiatrist. If your scope of practice is so limited that you do not or can not perform the duties as the very definition of your job, then you are frauduently accepting money from corporations to NOT do your job. I've spoken to 3 other Dr's who are horrified by her pain scale and utter lack of treatment. She's a highly paid con artist who needs to have her license examined by the state and refamiliarize herself with a standardized pain scale. I believe you can google it or find it in ANY Dr's office or ER. Dr. Wheeler has a rather arrogant attitude. She listens, yet not fully, not allowing the patient to give information that could be useful in the diagnosis of the patient's problem. I know she has been practicing for years and has had repor with her peers. Lately this has not been the case. Perhaps a time to refocus would be good Dr. Wheeler and her patients.

It was horrific, I would not advise anyone that is concerned with their own well being to ever have to sit foot in this doctor's office!
