You will not find a better neurologist, I had seen another neurologist and was brushed aside. After seeing Dr. Lafranchise today I feel so much more relieved as he listened to what was going on and we created a plan together! Truly the best I can not say enough good things about him!

Zero stars if I could. Complete jerk with a chip on his shoulder who shouldn’t be working in the medical field anymore given people’s lives are in his hands. I assure you, do not even take the chance of his negligent care. Funny getting accused of a conversion disorder (yes Dr. i read the visit notes you probably assumed a dumb blonde who’s “faking it” wouldn’t find) when even trained Nashville Fire calls in severe medical issues (stroke or TIA) ....guess that’s what happens when you dismiss someone from the ER 12 hours before & want to cover your/Saint Thomas’ behind. Coming from Boston where doctors are top notch, not only does Dr. LaFranchise leave much to be desired as far as expertise provided, but he is unprofessional and overall unkind. On Saturday, April 16th, my wife experienced numbness in her left hand, arm, neck and face. With her history of heart disease and her family history of stroke, we felt we needed to get immediate medical attention. We were admitted to St. Thomas emergency about 3:45pm. On Sunday the following day at 10am Dr. Lafranchise still had not seen her. Need I say more.
