If I could give Dr. T 50000 stars, I would. There are many doctors to choose from, but Dr. T is exceptional. He is very professional, detail-oriented, and competent. He made me feel comfortable throughout the egg retrieval and the transfer process since I already get extremely embarrassed very quickly! I wish he could be my GYN, PCP, and any other doctor I need. He is very professional, detail-oriented, and competent. He explained everything to me thoroughly from beginning to end, and my treatment was tailored to my body, and it wasn't one fit protocol. I have a positive first beta and cannot thank Dr. T enough for getting me to this point. Dr. T, you rock!!!! I'm fortunate to have you as my physician!

I had an incredibly positive experience seeing Dr. T. He is very patient, calm, not at all judgmental and encouraged me to take things one step at a time. He was also open to my ideas in terms of medication and working with me to figure out the best path forward (rather than have only one approach). Often when I would email him a question he would respond within an hour, sometimes minutes which was amazing since it was a very stressful time. I was diagnosed with PCOS and after one cycle of IUI with Dr. T and his team, I got pregnant and now have a healthy beautiful baby girl.

Dr Tortoriello is the best fertility doctor there is!! He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnosis/treatment process and explains everything about your evaluation and treatment. He is prompt to respond to and questions or concerns you may have. He is always looking out for his patients best interest and presents with a calm demeanor that has made a difficult situation much less stressful.

I think Dr. tortoriello is the best fertility doctor in the US! He was always nice and kind, answered all of my questions. If you have questions, you can communicate with him by email. His prompt response always made me feel relieved. He is knowledgeable and professional. I definitely recommend him!

Dr Tortoriello is the best doctor. He helped me pregnant at first FET transfer. After the first consulting with him, I know I found the right doctor. He is a very experienced, patient and kind doctor, always reply my questions by email promptly. I believe he loves his job and likes to offer help, and has a great passion for his patients. Dr. Tortoriello is a miracle worker. After 2 successful IVF cycles at another boutique clinic that resulted in 2 miscarriages at ~8 weeks (devastating), we switched to Dr. T. During my initial consult with Dr. T he recommended a different protocol, adding several new medications. On my 1st cycle with Dr. T, I became pregnant and successfully carried to term and delivered a beautiful baby boy into the world. 2 years later, we went back to Dr. T., and I became pregnant with my second son. We cannot thank Dr. T enough!!!

Dr. T was the reason that I would make the trip to Sher Fertility from Staten Island in order to conceive my first baby and he was the reason I went back there when I thought of conceiving my second baby! The whole team at Sher always made me feel like family during my first IVF journey and they made me feel the same exact way during my second one. And, of course, Dr. T was the same brilliant, kind, and patient doctor that he always was and he would always answer any questions that I would have at anytime. I had conceived my first baby with my first ever IVF cycle with a fresh embryo transfer and my second baby was coceived during my second ever IVF cycle with a frozen embryo transfer. I was 40 when I conceived my first baby (and gave birth at 41) and I was 42 when I conceived and gave birth to my second baby so Dr. T is a true miracle worker doctor!

Dr. Tortoriello is a kind and gentle doctor. he made us feel very at ease and he helped us right away find the source of our problems and cure it.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Tortoriello and his wonderful staff. After having a bad experience at a different clinic-we were referred to Dr Tortoriello by a close family member. After going through IVF for several years and exhausting two insurance plans, I switched to SIRM and Dr Tortoriello (and also saw his colleague Dr Wang). These two men were incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and I became pregnant with my now 5 year old twins. I will always be grateful to Dr Tortoriello for helping me move past the bad advice my previous docs had given me, and getting to the root of the problem. Dr. T is truly a very kind and compassionate doctor who provides a very specific approach to you. You will never feel like a number. The staff is equally compassionate and will strive to accommodate your schedule and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend visiting Dr. T before going anywhere else.

Sher was great. Dr. T did my polyp removal surgery and removed a uterus septum too. I became pregnant with IUI naturally no clomid 2 months later after trying for 2 years. Thank you for helping me with skill and kindness.

I made my way through a few other centers in NYC for my fertility issues before Sher. Seems I have "old eggs". I was finally told, in not so polite terms, by the doctors at Cornell and RMA that it was egg donation or nothing. They monitored me for possible IVF but I got cancelled like a thousand times because I didn't make enough eggs grow. One time I ovulated before egg drainage and after that I had it. After taking a break for about 6 tearful months and drinking a lot of Shiraz, I decided to try Sher Fertility. I met with Dr. Tortoriello and he basically told me that it was ridiculous to keep cancelling...I have really low egg numbers..why should we expect many eggs? He did really low dosages of medication on me and we actually got 2 blastocytes to transfer. It worked. Truthfully even if it didn't work I would still recommend that man. he has gotta be the kindest, most down-to-earth human being I ever met. He did like EVERYTHING for me...all the sonograms and all the procedures! And he never rushed me and got mad at all my jacked up google-driven questions. Love that man. I can't speak highly enough for Dr. T and his team who definitely gave an individualized approach to my care and were definitely "partners" in my tough infertility journey. I had a complicated case and rather than turn me away to "up their numbers," Dr. T remained persistent and tried different approaches customized to my case. One reason that I stuck with him is that he's someone who will level with you at the right time and not give you "false hope," which is what you want to hear and opens up your pocketbook much more. Dr. T is the best doctor. He was the third doctor I saw after repeated IVF failure. After one cycle I am holding my beautiful son and I am now working with him again towards #2. His field of medicine is very difficult with so many variables and emotional patients. Dr Ts calm demeanor and expertise is a perfect combination and makes him a great doctor. He has many success stories. Ppl use websites like these to find great doctors but only seldom come back to post their good feedback.

Dr. Tortoriello is wonderful and gave me results when no one else could, or even cared to help me. I am a resident, and work around the clock. Dr. T accommodated my horrible schedule and managed to do an amazing IVF cycle that has gotten me to the point where I am now 32 weeks pregnant. After 2 miscarriages that devastated me, we transferred one normal embryo and thank god it took. You will not find a kinder or more genuine man with such a breadth of knowledge as Dr. T. See him first !

Dr. T was my 3rd fertility doctor and by far the best. He really knows how to work with low egg patients....he just seems like an "egg-whisperer". He used much lower stim meds too. I had one blast that he transferred fresh and now I sit here with my daughter asleep next to me in her crib. I could cry over the thought that I nearly gave up before I saw him. Imagine that. She would not be here. But thank god she is...and thank you Dr. T for your skill and kindness.

It is my honor to write this review on Dr. Tortoriello (Dr. T), who treated me with great knowledge and professional care. We are joyful in my pregnancy the birth of our daughter this October and we are really glad to be treated by Dr. T. No bedside manners. Very rushed not open to questions. When I tried asking him questions I felt as if I was bothering him. I will not recommend him to anyone for infertility. Infertility is difficult enough and then to deal with someone careless is even worse.

Dr. T is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He is the most caring doctor and I truly mean that. He is constantly available by email. I have emailed him numerous times and he ALWAYS responds quickly to all of my emails. He is extremely knowledgeable and looks at all of the different aspects of my care. Being a doctor myself, I can tell you it is very hard to always cater to demanding patients, but somehow Dr. T does this. He individualizes care and is on top of all of his patients. What I love about him and SIRM is that you are a person, and its not run like a factory where the doctor of the day will review your labs, do you retrieval and your transfers. If Dr. T is your doctor, he will review all of your labs, he is doing your ultrasounds (unless you have a schedule conflict), and he will do all of your procedures. He is extremely knowledgeable and thinks outside the box. He is calm and listens to you. He will review your records before making a decision, and not just stick you to a routine protocol. I have see 4 RE in the past 12 months, and was treated by three of them. Dr. T just gave me my BFP on the first try with my only PGS normal embryo. I thank him for everything! I have been a patient of Dr. Tortoriello's for almost 3 years. He is probably one of the most incredible doctors I have ever encountered. He is genuine, compassionate, honest, knowledgeable and has the best bedside manner. He believed that my husband and I could get pregnant even when I didn't believe in it after all the years of trying to conceive and not being successful. Dr. T will never push treatments on you and really has your best interest at heart. I was very conservative at the beginning of our infertility journey and Dr. T from day one told us IVF with ICSI is what we needed. I insisted on trying multiple IUIs which all failed. Finally, I am happy to say that our 3rd IVF brought us our little miracle after trying for 5 years total. It was trial and error, trying different protocols and medications that's suitable for my body. Never once did I consider going to another doctor as I was confident I was in good hands with Dr. T. I especially loved that Dr. T is always reachable by email and responds promptly whenever I have a concern or question. He's emailed me about supplements he thinks I should be taking to increase the chances of success even when I was on treatment hiatus. There were a couple of times when I was given an appointment time that conflicted with my work schedule and when I brought this to Dr. T's attention, he made time on his busy schedule to accommodate me knowing it was hard for me to take off from work. He listens and thinks outside. He does immune testing. I tested positive for electrical aged nk cells and I am being treated for that. After just one cycle I got a BFP. He is so compassionate and always on top of his patients. He does all types of testing and gets to the bottom of any problems. He is extremely accessible for His patients which is rare and will answer questions very rapidly. Thanks Dr T for helping me get my BFP!

Amazing doctor!! After I developed Asherman syndrome, both NYU and CHR told me to give up getting pregnant after couple of failing IVF cycles; nevertheless, Dr. Tortoriello told me to not give up, and he made me pregnant with his first try!! After two years of many suffering, I just can't believe this miracle!! He cares about his patients very much, and his knowledge is amazing. You can trust him!! I can't thank enough for him.
