Dr. Douglas Rex Hess

Doctors Hess and Bell are the BEST. Very personable. You feel very comfortable talking with them whether in the office or in the operating room where epidurals are administered. As someone who is overly frightened of shots, these doctors were able to make me laugh.

Dr Hess is a life saver. Every pain management doctor should model themselves after this man, and his assistant Dr Bell.. AAA++++++++

I worked with Dr. Hess when I first came to CO as a surgery nurse and I saw him move mountains to help people in pain, sometimes angering nurses for making them come to work at 10pm to help treat a patient in severe pain. If you ever hear a negative opinion of him, guaranteed it's a prev coworker who never had chronic pain. When I had surgery, there was no question who would do my anesthesia. Now I'm a chronic pain pt in Denver. I'd give anything to be able to get to Pueblo for the best pain Dr.
