Dr. Douglas Frank Goldsmith

Absolutely backward progress from the very first meeting with my kids. My relationship with my kids was in great shape until he got involved. Embarrassing lack of respect.

I agree with the reviewers;Dr.Goldsmith is highly incompetent,unprofessional,biased,awkward and IMO needs therapy himself.The few 5 star reviews are Most probably written by himself or his family/friends. Please avoid this toxic waste at all costs

Dr Goldsmith has made a huge difference in our life. I can't say enough positive things about him. It's obvious he loves his work, loves his students, and has a gift for connecting with them. He's a true professional. He put my daughter at ease right away. She always had a hard time opening up, and right off the bat, she connected with him. My girls not only enjoyed every session with Dr Doug, but came out with great skills to help with the problems they were facing. It's amazing to see the difference is my oldest daughter since she started working with Dr Doug. Both my girls truly felt like he was interested in their life and cared about them. He speaks to us like family and goes out of the way to help. After challenging sessions, he would reach out on weekends and Sundays just to see how my girls were doing. You won't find a more kind, warm, loving and encouraging atmosphere To say we are thankful just doesn't ay enough. Dr Doug is the best there is!

I am currently participating in reunification therapy with my children with Dr Goldsmith. My experience thus far has been that Dr Goldsmith is more concerned with what my ex wife thinks and her opinions on seeing my children. My children have expressed great interest in seeing me however Dr Goldsmith seems to be more interested in tip toeing around my ex wife’s wishes (not seeing my children) I have been in the reunification for months now and still have not physically seen my children. To my understanding reunification is between my children and myself - not my ex wife. He states he is very busy and has a full schedule which has lead to my appointments being very far apart from each other. It took a month just to get the first appointment. He comes across as professional.

Doctor Doug Goldsmith was very biased, rude, indecent, and he practiced out of his scope, asked me personal questions about sexual abuse leading to my divorce, led conversations with me not about my child counselling ng and therapy treatment at all, he would only let my Ex Husband speak and I couldn’t speak or answer. He was very unprofessional and was not neutral.

Dr. Goldsmith was highly recommended by many people so we came with very high expectations, that were met, and even exceeded, in the first visit. He put us at ease right away, asked all the right questions, and our daughter opened up to him right away and we couldn't believe it. He is incredibly skilled and has helped our entire family. So pleased we found him, and waited patiently for an appointment. No wonder he is always full.

After jumping from therapist to therapist looking for the right fit, my family and I have finally found tremendous comfort and support in our time with Dr. Doug. He has shown great compassion and care with my two children and I could not be more grateful for his dedication, understanding, and honesty. I highly recommend Dr. Doug as a therapist.

All that glitters is not Gold(Smith)! Unprofessional therapist,outdated skills,culturally incompetent,negative being and highly ineffective.

Dr Goldsmith has dedicated his professional life to serving children with emotional and behavioral problems and their families. I highly recommend his services. He is an expert in the field and excellent clinician.

Would highly this kind and wise. Doctor. We had a tragedy in our family. He has and will continue to be very helpful.
