The receptionist was incredibly rude to me. We are new to Raleigh and are looking for a new doctor for my daughter (5), I’m also expecting in August so I was planning on taking both children to our new pediatrician. I decided to choose a different doctor because of her attitude. I feel the staff should be welcoming and informative and not talk down to people who are new. It reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I want my daughters to go somewhere that is warm and inviting. This is not the place. Also they wouldn’t let me make an appointment without my daughters medical records on their website it just says to bring them in with you to the appointment. We moved here from Florida I spoke with the office of my daughters pediatrician in Florida and they emailed me a copy of her records. When on the phone the receptionist said I needed to send the records first before I could even book the appointment which I was fine with I said I could forward them the email from the doctors office. She said they would not accept an email only mail or fax. Who in 2021 still has a fax machine? I don’t see why I couldn’t email them the records as proof I had them and then bring a printed copy on the day of the appointment. With the amount of people moving to the triangle area from out of state it seems crazy not to be accommodating. The receptionist was incredibly rude to me.
