If it wasn’t for DR. Tunner, I would still be in severe, severe pain. I had to artificial disc replacements and it’s literally changed my life. He was extremely thorough and making sure he got all the calcification out, even though it wasn’t seen on MRI he visually saw there was more calcification that he needed to remove in order to make my surgery a success. I had My surgery at age 37, maybe that’s why I didn’t have any complications but, I truly believe that he is an excellent, precise and caring doctor. Dr Turner performed a C5 disc replacement on my upper back 3 months ago. He listened to my input, concerns and ideas on the matter but he recommended a disc replacement only where I was thinking a fusion and replacement would be best. I received a 2nd opinion from an arrogant OCR Dr who would only preform a fusion on me and was so rude and full of himself that I could barely stand to listen to him. I decided to trust Dr Turner and we moved forward with his recommendation. The surgery went perfectly and Dr Turner was present when I woke up. He explained how the surgery went and was genuinely concerned about my well being. He checked up on me the following day and than 3 days out. I was in pain and he complied with my med request insuring I was taken well care of. Dr Turner did a fantastic job explaining to me what I could expect post op and answered my many questions in terms easy to understand and remember. The results of the procedure have exceeded all our expectations and my only regret was waiting so long to have it done. Next 2 procedures are going to be fusions in my lower back and I won’t even consider seeing anyone else besides Turner. Even his anesthesiologist was amazing and made sure I was comfortable and informed the entire time. I highly recommend Dr Turner and since than have had a double knee replacement through OCR with Dr Hartman and the difference in care between the 2 are night and day. My knee operations have been a total disaster and if your looking at OCR vs Turner do yourself a favor and go with Turner. Office was very rude. They only take Wyoming Medicaid well we live here in COLORADO!!! The wait to see neurosurgeon at University is 6 months My daughter is 23 and her C2 and C3 are subluxating she can barely get out of bed. She has a CSF leak out of both ears. When I asked who to recommend if they won’t see her THEY HUNG UP ON ME !!!!! As a RN I’m horrified!!

Not pleased with how Dr Turner and his staff has handled my mother's post op spinal stenosis surgery. First off he sent her home less than 3 hours after surgery. We ended up hauling her out of her home in an ambulance 36 hours later. Called the office explaining what was going on and their response was "you and I both know she can't be in that much pain." And that was just the on call doctor. Turner never even called to see how she was doing. Then about 3 to 4 weeks after surgery her incision busted open. Hauled her to Dr Turner's office, which is a 2 hour drive, and all they did was order wound care back home. We sent them pictures of the wound opened up couldn't they have ordered wound care without having to make a 4 hour trip? Especially since they don't seem to have an interest in their patient. We still have yet to receive a phone call from Turners office to see how recovery is going. It has now been 4 months since surgery and my mother still has a gapping hole in her back. Him and his associates believe they are above talking to the patient. I waited for over an hour to see the Dr. and finally left. He then immediately discharged me for daring to become impatient. I believe emergencies come first but not every time I see a Dr.

Dr. Turner was very straightforward and clear about the procedure. Everything went great as planned. I felt some immediate relief as well as tje need to heal after the procedure. The team supported me every step while encouraging me to get up and move!

Doctor Donn Turner is amazing. I had a herniated disc. He did not waste any time on fixing my back. I feel amazing and would highly recommend him!

I had spine surgery on Oct. 17, 2017. I was very impressed with Dr. Turner and his staff. Even before the surgery I was equally impressed with the office staff particularly Deb. When I ask to meet her before my surgery she made a point to come and visit with me. Thanks to all of you...

Dr. Turner is such a genuine man and makes you feel comfortable. I instantly trusted him and felt like he cared. Everything ran smoothly and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very intelligent.

I too, like several others, have had "two" surgeries with/by Dr. Turner. I am very pleased w/both and the way I was treated. He is very, very, kind and considerate. I would highly recommend him. My husband also had a surgery (neck/disc) surgery done by him about 8 yrs ago, and he also feels the same as I do. He was very pleased with the surgery and is doing quite well. His staff was very kind in following up after surgery to see how I was doing.

Dr Turner has fixed my back twice (laminectomy and herniated disc surgeries) with excellent results both times. The pain relief after surgery was complete and immediate. I followed post-surgery guidelines with restricted lifting and lots of walking which I am sure contributed to the good results. Dr Turner's nurse followed through with me to be sure I did! If I have more back problems, I sure hope Dr Turner will be around to help! Thank you Dr T!

Dr. Turner was so cool. He made me feel at ease throughout my entire lower back issue. I completely trusted him the instant we met. I am so grateful

Dr. Turner was great to work with. He and his entire team went above and beyond. Two days post fusion surgery and I am feeling better than I have in almost a year.
