Dr. Carter is extremely rude, and he is not professional enough to understand what is going on with your body. Don't waste your time to see him.

Dr. Carter knows his stuff and took good care of my medical needs. However, his bedside manner is devoid of any kind of human compassion. If you irritate him in the slightest, he has a tantrum and becomes verbally condescending. That makes it extremely difficult and uncomfortable for a patient when a doctor is supposed to treat his patients with dignity and respect. He does neither of those. Front office staff is WONDERFUL!! Dr. Carter did not see the excess mucus on my vocal cords and growths causing my voice to be raspy. I left his office in disgust after he again wanted me to fill out new patient forms simply because their system upgrade failed to migrate existing patient records. My primary care physician referred me to another ENT specialist at Stanford Hospital. Surgery performed on March 15, 2018 and 2 months later my voice changed but is near radio quality. Transformed my life.

I used Dr. Carter when my children were little and was happy, but things have changed. My husband is on a CPAP machine and we struggle every time he needs supplies. We have paid out of pocket because we can't get the necessary info sent for insurance approval. My husband has never actually seen Dr. Carter...just his PA. We are going on 6 months trying to get what we need. We will once again pay out of pocket because he has been without his medically necessary machine for 6 months. -10 score

I think Dr. Carter is an awesome physician. My elderly mother was quite hard-of-hearing and very stubborn about insisting NO HEARING AIDS. Dr. Carter was very firm and honest with her; never unkind, just firm. He convinced her to wear the hearing aids. He's quite knowledgeable (I too, am now his patient.) I'm appreciate that as he types his notes into my electronic chart during our appointment, he reads aloud what he's typing to make sure we're both "on the same page." Great doc!

Amazing doctor. I was really sick for the longest time and no other doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Carter diagnosed me Addisons Disease and referred me to an endocrinologist. He also treats my thyroid. I feel great now. I could never thank him enough!

I lost my hearing in my left ear. I was referred to Dr. Carter. After a hearing test was performed in his office and he reviewed my situation he decided to do cortisone injections. My hearing has been restored and after his follow up I have now been released. I can say that the staff and Dr Carter was very professional and I am very pleased to have my hearing back.

I was have continuous sinus infections. I had surgery with Dr. Carter and I will so much better. So glad I found an answer with Dr. Carter. Thank you
