Dr. Don Ross Fishman

Terrible!!! Dr. Donald Fishman nearly killed my daughter as he botched her gallbladder surgery and didn’t take responsibility. We had to take her to another hospital where she was diagnosed with 2 bile leaks. Due to his incompetence, she has lost 1/3 of her liver function. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN!

It’s about 1:30pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in the surgury waiting room at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, my girlfriend recovering from gall bladder surgury. Felt compelled to write my first ever review. Dr. Fishman and the entire staff were wonderful. Outstanding bedside attention and thoughtfulness. Was most impressed with Dr. Fishman’s calm, relaxed confidence. Thank you!

Good Evening, Dr. Fishman was my Trauma Surgeon back in 1998. He deal with my family during all of the 5 yrs I was his patient. He helped me through all my injuries and surgeries. I’ve had surgery twice with Dr Fishman. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr Dishman was able to see me in an emergency and gave me such good care and attention. I felt safe before surgery. He has an amazing bedside manner that engenders trust. But he is also head of trauma surgery so I was assured his skill level was excellent as well. I highly recommend him when you have a need.

Everything was explained in great detailed to me before surgery.

On September 11,1993 Dr. Fishman saved my father's life. After a near fatal auto accident, my family was prepared for his death. Gratefully Dr. Fishman and his team were not! I will never be able to put into words how fortunate my father (& family) are to have had Dr. Fishman caring for all of us! Jim Michaels (the pelvis man) has lived to see 5 grandchildren enter our world - thank you Dr. Fishman.

The office is disorganized and he only cares for patients that he can make a profit from.

I have nothing, but great things to say about Dr. Fishman. From the initial visit to his bedside manner. I would recommend him and his staff to all my friends and relatives needing his expertise.

Excellent Doctor-Surgeon, great bedside manner. Dr. Fishman explains everything to you so you can understand your health condition. His assistant Sheryl is very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Great service all the way around.

Dr Fishman has an amazing bedside manner and is very personable and kind. He answered all of my questions in a way that I understood.
