I had a very positive experience at my first visit with Dr. Gupta. The receptionist/nurse could not have been nicer and she was very patient with me with my confusion. Dr. Gupta was very welcoming and professional. She was friendly and was really concerned about my symptoms. She listened and took her time explaining what she needed to do give me a diagnosis. I look forward to working with her from now.

I do not recommend going to this office. The front office is rude and also my needs were not met.

Friendly and timely

I've been seeing Dr. Gupta for many years. I like her so much that even though I lived much farther from her practice, I still made the trip to see her. I appreciate her wholistic approach to medicine. She not only asks about symptoms that pertain to her specialty but also asks about your work, family, exercise habits, etc. to get the whole picture of what you're going through. I would definitely recommend her.

Editing review. At first I had a really great experience with Dr. Gupta. However, the longer I saw her the less she listened to anything I said. She prescribed me IV steroids for 3-6 months and could not tell me what the long term care plan was or even the short term for that matter. Each visit the information she told me was different, including one visit where she told me to keep taking my heart medication for POTS. Then her office staff called me to tell me to stop taking it while I was on steroids. So I did, only to find out later on that this is a medication you should never stop cold turkey. She then, a few months later, asked me why I stopped taking it... She said I was doing fine after the three months of steroids, then a month later told me I needed three more months and that I could end up unable to walk later in life due to neuropathy. My PCP was getting very worried about the steroid use and I ended up in the ER twice from my potassium dropping dangerously low. I was also only 25 at the time. When I brought up my PCPs concerns to Dr. Gupta, she was very rude and almost hostile and said she wouldn't be my Dr anymore if I listened to other doctors before her. After completing 6 months of steroids that absolutely wrecked my body and my life, she then said, very out of the blue, that I needed one more year of them.... That was the last time I saw her. I was actually very frightened and deeply regretted trusting her and getting the steroids. I don't know what happened to the other reviews on here, but at the time I remember reading lots of reviews where people said she would push steroids on everyone. Fast forward three years, I have been seeing another very capable and ethical neurologist and I 100% never needed the steroids and I really think she is a quack who takes advantage of patients for financial gain.

recommend this practice but encourage improvement of office management with returning phone calls or answering incoming phone calls. Staff are friendly in person.

I like going here. She is always running on time and is very kind.

Doctor explained everything. Listened well too. Very personable. Staff was great as well.

Dr. Gupta gave me a thorough exam and spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns and offering her opinions. She is wonderfully detail oriented and I like her style. Highly recommend her !!

Dr. Gupta is a complete professional and truly knows her business, she has treated my neuropathy for several years and with her help I have improved significantly.

Can you give 0 stars? I went to this Dr once. She would not let me talk. I waited over 30 minutes to spend maybe 5 minutes with her as a new patient. She told me 3 of my drs didn’t know what they were doing. She “prescribed” running and extreme exercise for me…I’m 70 years old with physical disabilities. She does not care about her patients and is rude and arrogant. How can you prescribed something someone cannot physically do? How do you determine, in 5 minutes, that other doctors don’t know what they are doing. She took one look at me and dismissed me. I have fired her. I will find a dr who cares and will listen. Not terribly sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. My grandma said they must be fake. Anyways, I went to see Dr. Gupta for the first time in maybe Jan 2021. I went with a list of neurological issues. She said “no we are only focusing on one problem today. That’s your migraines” I pulled out my phone (I keep a list on there) she told me “put your phone away! I will not allow recording in my office!” So rude. I told her I was just checking my notes that I made for the visit! Fast forward. I tell her some complaints. She ignores them. Says it’s anxiety. Fast forward again, I complain about the same thing, she claims I’ve never told her these things before (she never even noted it in my chart from the prior visits; maybe if she wasn’t so focused on me having anxiety, she could listen better) and ordered an EEG. EEG came back abnormal, she said I was having seizures and prescribed medication. I told her some other seizure like symptoms. She claimed I wasn’t having seizures and it was anxiety. On my chart it said she discussed driving, which she didn’t. I tell her the medication she prescribed is not good for me because I have a history of kidney stones. This medication is 4x more likely to cause stones. She said this medicine is perfect for me and stones are very rare and the benefits outweigh the risk. Fast forward a couple weeks, my urine is cloudy and my back hurts. I tell her I probably have kidney stones. She said no I don’t and said it’s anxiety and “all these issues can’t be side effects from the medicine!” Fast forward to December. I tell her I want to be out on a different medication because my back still hurts and my urine is still cloudy. She said there’s no way to tell if it’s kidney stones because I haven’t had any tests. She said we can’t assume until we had proof. Refused to change my medication. Didn’t order any labs. The bored from my visit said she offered a new medication, which I declined. That’s a lie. She’s literally falsifying her medical documents. Didn’t note any of my complaints on the documents either. Said we discussed driving again, too. Fast forward to now. I went to an urgent care a month ago. Blood in my urine. They sent me to a urologist. 3 weeks later, still have blood in my urine. CT confirms kidney stones. And now an enlarged bladder. I didn’t have an enlarged bladder before this medication. It’s likely due to having several untreated kidney stones. Needless to say, this doctor is arrogant, didn’t listen to my complaints, and did not accurately document so many visits (likely to protect herself). I’d avoid this lady. So I called today and no one answering their phone for the Appointment Sheduling.I am not sure if these places even care wanting buisness or not.Very dissapointing.

Worst doctor ever. I will NEVER recommend doctor Gupta. She was not concerned for my health and just wanted a paycheck. When she asked me to do a balance check she told me I was drunk, and that if I had another seizure she said to not call her for help. Very rude. Dr Gupta is very knowledgeable and very concerned about her patient needs. Dr Gupta seems to take a natural approach in treating her patients (for example recommending exercising and changing diet) but will prescribed medication if needed. Dr Gupta reviews all medication the patient is taking to ensure the patient is not over medicated and recommends an alternative to the medication if needed. Dr Gupta is able to run nerve conduction and EEG studies in her office. Dr Gupta is very pleasant person to be around and friendly. Dr Gupta also lets you know that she is proud of you when progress has been made. I highly recommend Dr Gupta to my friends and family.

I have seen Dr Gupta for three visits and have not obtained any helpful diagnostic information. Dr. strictly controls appointment time and seems reluctant to allow questions that may take additional time. I felt like I was dismissed. She seemed unaware of documentation I sent to her so that we might have a meaningful visit. Each visit requires additional appointments just to try to get answers. I am ready to give up.

The front staff was okay. My PCP referred me to her for my migraines and she straight up gave me medicine used for bipolar patients. I never went back. Do not recommend her!!!

In my experience, the care I received at this office was negative. Not only did Dr. GRUPTA gaslight my symptoms and questions... My last visit at her office left me completely shattered. Since she believes everything is in my head, I wanted to show her "proof" so I documented 2 months worth of videos for her to review and she dismissed me and suggested to drink Tonic water for my fasciculations. Insensitive told me I was doin better when I wasn’t gonna cancel my appointments

So first of all the lady in the front desk was not wearing a mask. Then, as I was explaining my symptoms to the MD, I mentioned I had anxiety and I was thinking my nerve pain was triggering it. She said really loud and clear I am not a psychiatrist! I asked excuse me? She repeated "I am not a psychiatrist" I was shocked and so insulted. I told her I was well aware she was a neurologist and she responded with so much ego and so cold "okay I'm not a psychiatrist!" I got up and started walking out and asked her to cancel the appointment. She then said Ms. Sotosit down please. I'm sorry what? This just happened and Im still so upset. What type of person is this? I thought I was going there to get help. Anyway, I called them to ask to cancel the appointment because I didn't receive service other than getting on a scale and my blood pressure. They had the nerve to tell me they were still going to file a claim to my insurance. I filed a complaint with my insurance. Dr. Gupta was very unprofessional and rude! The staff was overwhelmed and I had to call to remind several times for them to call in my prescription and to send my mri referral. Dr. Gupta did not listen to my concerns and rudely interrupted me trying to explain all my symptoms. I have never been treated this poorly by any doctor. Would not recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone. Forgot to call in anticonvulsant prescription (1000 mg) and was unclear that I was to start immediately. My PCP had to call her to get an update and told me I should have started over a week ago. Then it was never called in. Sent me for MRI and EEG. I showed up to my 10:20 appointment and didn't get in until 10:35 and rushed out before 10:45 - she didn't discuss results to any details and said I'm ok - come back in 90 days. I have had 3 rehab therapists and another dr to tell me to go to someone else. This is your BRAIN -- rushing is straight up wrong and leaving patients confused when leaving. Very good appointment but never called in the prescription to the pharmacy. It was worked out very quickly. Had my first in office appt. it was scheduled for 10:45 am. It is now 11:15 and still haven’t seen the Dr. Just not timely as I would expect in current environment. I realize schedule can get off track but just frustrating. Hello All, I am kind of a person who does not get easily happy with anyone and put reviews until I get all my answers. A little about myself, I struggled with my condition for 4 years, fasted for straight 6 months, had been on gluten free diet since last 4 years, spent almost a fortune on my health after working almost 50 docs one after an other, with all sort of specialists, crawled like baby to my bathroom every morning with extreme fatigue, lived with sever muscle pain along with temperature extremities. I have seen doctors laughing on me after hearing my list of symptoms but, my experience to Dr Gupta went totally opposite to what I thought at the first place. I still remember the day when my first appointment was scheduled for, after getting no answers from so many doctors, I had hit to a stage in my life where I had become so hopeless if I would be able to diagnosed with symptoms I had going on. I remember I was having the TMS therapy done for my anxiety during those days, and some random numbness and tingling issues made me look for a neurologist & Neuropathic doc. During the first visit, I noticed how she carefully listens to symptoms and come up with the diagnoses in her mind. She diagnosed me with small fiber neuropathy (without even getting skin biopsy done), and 2 weeks after when my biopsy results came back, it came back positive. Nobody in the world can understand the value of such feelings when you struggled so much, I at least had the hope and directions for where to work on. Sometimes you get to meet few people in your life who leave such good impact on you that cannot never be forgotten. I am still on my path to recovery but, If I will ever lookback to this phase of my life, I will always remember Dr. Gupta who was able to bring such breakthrough in my health status.
