Dr Vanhille is Superman of the ENT universe. My problems experienced 100% relief. Incredibly skilled surgeon yet personable and listens and speaks in terms that make sense. I jokingly noted an unrelated procedure he could take care of while I was under anesthesia. He politely declined as we had not discussed it prior but offered to address it on my follow up visit at his office. Two days later his staff reached out and reschedule my follow up to allow time for this unrelated issue. And the he fixed it too. What an awesome experience. I could not be more enthusiastic about offering my highest endorsement. If I or a loved one needs ENT treatment, I would be willing to drive 100 extra miles and pay for it all out of pocket, just to be treated by Dr. Vanhille.

I am so grateful for Dr. Vanhille. He was so caring patient and attended to my every need and concern! I would recommend him to anyone needing an ENT!

I had sinus surgery with Dr. Vanhille. He was great! All of his staff have been kind and accommodating. He has 3 offices so getting in has never been an issue. 100% recommend!!!!

Dr. VanHille is an excellent ENT. He really cares about his patients. He listened to all of my concerns and saw me multiple times. I just recently had turbinate reduction surgery and it went flawlessly. He is gentle and kind. I 100% recommend!

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Vanhille. He is a very one on one personable doctor. I felt that he was truly concerned about me as a patient and the problem I was having with my hearing. He thoroughly explained everything to me concerning the surgery I would have. Everything about Dr. Vanhille is very professional. He is a very concerned, caring doctor, who listened to my concerns and treated me with respect and kindness. Every visit I had with him, whether in the office or hospital, he took the time to see my needs were taken care of. He never rushed through anything and spent whatever time necessary to make sure I was informed and any questions I had were answered. I genuinely felt he was concerned about me and I was not just another number. There doesn’t seem to be many doctors who are willing to take the time with their patients to gain their trust. Dr. Vanhille is one of the few doctors that does this. And most of all, I have regained some of my hearing loss and I am very happy about that!!!! I would recommend Dr. Vanhille to anyone. Dr Vanhille performed my parathyroidectomy on August 30, 2021. He explained everything thoroughly and surgery went as planned. My scar is almost invisible and I feel better than I have in years. He did an excellent job and I recommend him as a first rate ENT surgeon.

After being anxious finding the right Dr to perform the surgery for my tonsils, I found that Dr Vanhille was the right choice. The initial visit was very satisfactory. I was told what to expect as an adult vs a child with this type of surgery both before and after the surgery. All in all he made me feel very comfortable and the surgery was a perfect success. Vanhille is very relatable and a great guy. I would highly recommend he and his staff to anyone. My little boy had surgery by dr. Vanhille and he was amazing!!! He is so kind and caring and makes the kids and parents feel at ease!!! I am so glad we went to him. I would recommend him to anyone!!

I highly recommend Dr. Vanhille. I had to have my thyroids remove and I was paralyzed with fear of surgery on my neck. Dr Vanhille assured me with confidence that I needed this surgery and he explained all the details and what to expect. I felt at ease and so grateful that I had the surgery, HE is the BEST!

Very nice office in Payson and Spanish Fork. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Vanhille is very thorough and does a great job in the office as well as the OR.

I am so pleased with my visit to Dr. Vanhille. He was very thorough in the process of evaluating my symptoms and explained clearly my options for treatment. I feel very confident in my results after meeting with Dr. Vanhille. His staff is very kind and on task as well.

I would personally recommend Dr. Vanhille. He performed my thyroidectomy with no problems whatsoever. He explains everything in detail and is willing to answer any questions you have. He was very professional and is such a young doctor.

Dr. Vanhille is an excellent ENT! He is personable and takes the time to listen. I had a sever deviated septum and my surgery was as perfect as could be. His work is efficient and flawless. The only improvement I could suggest is the communication. It wasn't bad by any means, I just had a couple errors that were fixed. And Dr. Vanhille did all he could to correct the mishaps and make me a priority, while still juggling his other patients. Dr. Vanhille did a great job with my daughter and her nose. He made her feel comfortable and explained everything that we needed to know. He went out of his way to make sure that my daughter got the help that she needed under the circumstances. As a parent, that meant the world to me.

My tonsils have been a problem for me most of my life and got to the point where I needed to do something about them. I met with Dr. Vanhille's team to go over my options. A tonsillectomy was the decision and he covered the entire process and what could be expected with me and answered any questions I had. The surgery was quick with very little discomfort. My healing process was much easier than the expected and I was greatful for it. During the follow up appointment he covered the remaining process for healing and what I could expect for each step and let me know that I could call in if needed. My son had a tonsillectomy thanks done by Dr Vanhille. The surgery went really well, and although it’s not a super fun recovery my son was glad to have them out and not have to worry about his tonsils flaring up anymore. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Vanhille. I recently took my 12 year old in and was so impressed with out outgoing, kind, informative, and funny he was. I loved that he spoke directly to my son and made sure that both of our questions had been answered.

This is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I was born with a crooked septum and a lazy eye. This did not slow me down in spirts but it did make it tough to gauge distance. The end result was many broken noses. I gave him no easy task but he explained everything very well and then he straightened my septum and now I am enjoying breathing as I never have before. My wife says my snoring is gone!! I emphasize again how challenging my surgery was and how skillfully he reshaped the problem. Dr. Vanhille is amazing! I would highly recommend him to anyone! So thorough and his communication and bedside manner was something I haven’t seen in a long time. I have NEVER been so sick and he took an aggressive approach to get things taken care of! So grateful I was referred to him!

He took good care of me during surgery and made sure that post op instructions were sent home with my spouse. The post surgery office visit was quick and he again made sure that all of my questions were answered. He is a friendly, caring doctor that I would highly recommend if you need his expertise with your ears, nose, or throat.

I was looking for a Doctor for my Tonsils, I have been fighting with tonsillitis and strep etc. for years, I finally had to bite the bullet and get them removed to stop causing me grief. I came across Derek Vanhille, Located in Spanish fork Utah. I just had my tonsillectomy December 23rd 2019. Derek was my Doctor that did the surgery. He came and seen me before the surgery and explained every step to me and my husband. He is very professional and kind. After the surgery, I was recovering at home, my throat was soo sore, I could not eat or drink. My husband called his office, he was able to call in a prescription for me right then and there, and that was such a relief. He actually cared and was eager to help me. My follow up 2 weeks later he seen me in the office. He was making sure everything was healed up right. And answered every question that I had for him, He even took a look at my 6 month old babies ears for me just to ease my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone that is wanting a great Doctor! I took my 7 month old baby to see Dr. Vanhille because she was has been having trouble swallowing. Dr. Vanhille was very thorough, kind and caring. He explained everything step by step. He gave me a piece of mind, knowing she was ok after he scoped her throat. He gave us his recommendations and we tried it. She has improved significantly since.He was very patient with my husband and I. He took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Dr. VanHill was awesome. I was a little worried about going to an ENT but my first visit was awesome. He talked to me about my options regarding my polyps in my nose, which he came me several and did not just jump to surgery. He sent me for a CT scan and I went back to visit him and talk about the results. Even seeing my scan, he didn't push me to have to surgery done, he gave me all the options again, but I had decided that I was tired of being sick, so I had the surgery done, but it was my choice. I asked him how many he had done and he said 6, and if you don't feel comfortable with me doing it I can have one of the other doctors do it. I felt confident in him doing the surgery, he knew all the new stuff regarding it and the fact that he offered to refer me to someone else even though he knew he could do it, sealed the deal for me. When it comes to doctors I'm very weary, and i pay attention to how they act and talk to me. . . body language etc. But when my 2 year old kept getting chronic ear infections, we were referred to him by our PCP. Right away I was very impressed. Very attentive. Answered all my questions. Didn't rush me. Very personable. Awesome bedside manner. Just overall an awesome doctor.
