Dr. Derek V Levy

I have had shoulder pain for over 4 months. I went to Dr. Levy after reading the reviews. I couldn't be happier. He took the time to exam and explain to me about my injury. He told me to come in as often as I wanted until I felt better. He didn't try to "sell" me a program.

At 37 weeks pregnant and in an incredulous amount of pain, I walked very slowly into Dr Levy’s office and walked out 20 min later INSTANTLY relieved and feeling much better. To me it was miraculous how a chiro treatment was so effective in such a short amount of time. I went from tears of pain to relief. I recommend him to everyone! Not only is he good at what he does, but he also doesn’t try to loop you into endless visits. His mantra is if you feel good, don’t come back. I’m here to help you. I tend to wait until my pain or chiropractic issue is urgent. Dr. Levy fits me in immediately, takes on my cervical spine issues and resolves them in one treatment. LOVE that he invites me to return as neaded instead of trying to create an ongoing treatment program.

Dr Levy was great! I got there with the worst hip pain, and in 5 minutes I was adjusted and woke up brand new. Thank you so much Dr Levy for fixing my back. Since I am new to the South Bay I have found my Chiropractor!

***ABOVE AND BEYOND*** My husband had taken a slip and was in horrible pain. Desperate, I called Dr. Levy on Christmas Eve right before his office was scheduled to close at noon. He took my call and asked if my husband (who was a new patient) could come right away. But, my husband was stuck at work and couldn't get there until later in the day. I was having some major swing limitations with my golf swing and had bad pain on my right side. I didn’t play golf for 6 weeks as I thought it was a muscle tear. It didn’t get any better and heard about Dr Levy and read his reviews. I was hesitant to go in as I didn’t want him to mess it up even worse. Dr Levy was incredibly professional and determined my pelvic bone was out of place. He did some adjustments over 3 visits and I am pain free. I came to Dr. Levy to help with some recurring neck and back tightness. He is very personable, welcoming and helpful into explaining what was happening to me. He gave me a heat pad, and an ice pad. He adjusted my neck and back and felt great afterward. Great guy. will be going back to him if ever need it!!

I came to see Dr. Derek Levy after I had been in a car accident and had some neck and back pain. I initially chose him since he had such good reviews and I now see why! After getting into a car accident I was in pretty bad shape, and I was referred to Dr. Derek Levy. From the moment I walked in I was sure I was in the right place. It’s clear that he cares about his patients’ well being and wanted to make sure I got better. Each time I came I noticed a huge difference in how well I felt, and he noticed problems that ER staff had missed. I've had some trouble with my low back since I was in high school. A few months ago, it really flared up and I was in bad shape. I went saw a physical therapist and tried all sorts of at-home remedies, but it wasn't until I started seeing Derek that my pain began to subside. Derek's knowledge of anatomy and ability to adjust the neck and spine is incredible. Plus, he's given me a lot of minor behavior and postural tips that have completely changed the way that I approach my back. I haven't felt this good for a long time. Derek is so kind and good at what he does! He has helped my grandma tremendously in only a couple of visits. He meets her where she is in regards to her inability to walk down stairs well, and acknowledging her fragility due to her age. He has made her feel really cared for and comfortable. I highly recommend him.

I was visiting and tweaked my back and couldn't sit. I had a flight to catch the next afternoon and Dr. Levy was able to see me the morning before I left. My flight home was a lot more comfortable than it could have been. Dont hesitate to call if you are in pain. Thanks a million!!

After getting on a plan with Dr Levy I can say that I've lived comfortably for the first time in years. Hes been super accommodating to my schedule and billing needs. Plus I love the beach surfer vibe! Definitely recommend!

I'm really amazed at what he did to get rid of my pain. I was seriously in so much pain for almost a month after a back spasm. The spasm was in my upper back/shoulder/neck area, and there was a dull, aching pain shooting all the way down my right arm. I couldn't sleep at night b/c the pain was so bad. I spent hundreds of dollars with an ortho specialist running all kinds of tests to find out why the pain wasn't going away. They had me do a nerve conduction study that cost me $80 copay and $150 for the test (completely normal results), gave me a cortisone shot in my arm, prescribed me muscle relaxers, topical anti-inflamm. cream, steroid pills, and I had used over-the-counter Salonpas patches, Tiger Balm, CBD oil, leftover pain pills, used ice and heat, but NOTHING was stopping the pain. Out of desperation, I thought, I'm going to try a chiro. It was the day before I left for a week to Hawaii on vacation. I found him on the local Nextdoor app, and he had the best reviews, so I made an appt. Not even 30 seconds after I started telling him my story, he blurted out, "You have a pinched nerve" and then told me he would fix me right up. He did something to my neck, and literally I could feel relief within the hour. The pain started to recede in my right arm. I was about 80% better. Went on my vacation and came back immediately to him for another session. After that, like 95% better. I have zero pain in my right arm now, and only small, residual pain left in my neck. So happy I found him and will continue to see him as needed. I'm really amazed at what he did to get rid of my pain. I was seriously in so much pain for almost a month after a back spasm. Dr. Levy is the man. He takes the time to listen to you and comes up with a game plan for getting you on the road to recovery. He was able to immediately identify why I was in pain and after two visits and some adjustments to my sleeping routine I’m feeling incredible.

Dr. Ed is a great chiropractor. He is very knowledgeable with chiropractic care, nutritional/diet information, and applied kinesiology. I highly recommend him for your aches, pains, imbalances, and pinched nerves. He cares for his patients and does an exceptional job!
