Dr Brinster is an amazing surgeon and incredible to be around. He literally saved my dad's life when no other surgeon wanted to intervene. Excellent - had minimally invasive aortic valve replacement in 2018. Went extremely well and have no complaints two years later. Very glad I went with Dr. Brinster. The office is run very well and Dr. Brinster is clearly skilled surgeon who can do this surgery in a less invasive manner - which is very uncommon.

In am so grateful for the amazing, smart, talented, people like Dr. Brinster and the many others at Lenox Hill who preformed a long procedure on my heart and have restored me to health. From the very first appointment, the entire staff collected my previous diagnostic test results from other doctors and kept me stress free from that process. Due to a short turn around from diagnosis to sudden surgery, this had allowed me more time to focus on my personal matters and family. A huge bonus in the overall process. I highly recommend anyone with a diseased heart or otherwise to consult these fine professionals for their cardiac care.

Dr. Brinster is an AMAZING surgeon. In 2015 i had a heart attack. I was wheeled into Lennox Hill Hospital unconscious an was takin straight into surgery. I had an Aortic Arch Replacement. I was extremely lucky to have Dr. Brinster and his fantastic team. Thank you.

The best of the best! We found out that my husband needed aortic root and valve replacement surgery at only 32-years old and we were terrified. We were sent to Dr Brinster at Lenox Hill and he was calming, informative and down to earth. He explained everything and answered all of our questions, and really made it seem as if my husband's extensive surgery was just a normal Monday for him, which kept us calm at an incredibly stressful time. The surgery was a month ago, and everything went perfectly! Dr Brinster met with our family and I in the middle of the surgery to give us updates and was confident and reassuring. Not only is my husband's heart fixed, but the recovery process has thankfully been even smoother than we anticipated. He's on the mend and we are so thankful for Dr Brinster and his team! Dr. Brinster did a Aortic Valve Replacement on me this past February. I am 47 years old and was diagnosed with Severe Aortic Stenosis by my cardiologist in NJ. I was told I needed valve replacement quickly and it would be an open heart procedure. He recommended Dr. Brinster out of Lennox Hill Hospital in NYC. Needless to say I was terrified as I did not expect this and knew it was a major surgery. I met Dr. Brinster and his team and let me be very clear that they are nothing short of OUTSTANDING!! They explained everything to me and my family in detail and answered all of our questions. Everything they said to me was 100% accurate on from leading up to the actual surgery, after surgery and recovery time. I was even texting his staff before my surgery and even after when I was home after surgery and they responded to my every question. I was back to work and enjoying life 4 weeks after my surgery. Words cannot describe how great Dr. Brinster and his staff were. My family and I are so tremendously grateful that we were recommended to him. I can honestly say that I would put my life and the life of my children and family in his hands any time, he was that good! Amazing surgeon, Tremendous staff and great ICU Team!! I owe you my life. It has been almost 4years since my open heart. Recovery was ruff but he made sure I was treated as if I was one of his family member. Educationally and professionalism 5stars. If I needed to do this all over again I definitely without blinking twice will pick him. His team is fantastic, they all successfully saved my LIFE.

Dr. is very quick to recommend surgery. Definitely get a second or third opinion. Seems nice and confident, office and facility is run very well. When your scared and are facing open heart surgery he makes you feel confident in his abilities . He cares more about padding his success numbers than he does about patients. Very quick to schedule surgery. I went for 3 other opinions and all 3 agreed that surgery was unnecessary at this time. Don't let his smooth demeanor fool you.

He's the best cardiologist I've found in all of NYC. Wicked smart, experienced, down to earth, not an alarmist, factual, great bedside manner as they say. His support team is also excellent and professional and extremely knowledgeable. Pat Mastandrea

I only met with him for a consultation, he was very personable and professional. He explained everything with visual aid. I felt very comfortable with him going to perform my surgery, I need a double heart operation.
