We have appreciated the care we have gotten from Dr Morita with my daughters health. She is very quick to respond to concerns and questions. She is also very friendly and my daughter is very comfortable around her.

The best there is. Truly cares about her patients. So grateful for her and her staff.

Dr Morita was short with me and rude. I tried to explain the circumstances of my sons TBI and she interrupted me and told me the circumstances of my sons TBI was irrelevant. She is beyond expensive and has zero bed side manners. I will never know if she is a good doctor, she would not give me the time to determine her merit and we won’t be going back. Her nurse is the same; flippant and cold. My son asked me after the nurse left the room if the nurse or Dr Morita were mad at us for coming to our appointment. Her receptionist however is very polite and kind. We were referred to Dr Morita by my sons primary care physician and I will report back to the PCP about Dr Morita unprofessional interaction with us today. Dr. Morita is our second-opinion neurologist after being brushed off by our first neurologist. We are so happy she was recommended to us! Doctor Morita is the worst. We have had 2 appointments, totalling less than 10 minutes. And I'm not being dramatic. The first was less than 5 minutes, all she said was we need to do an MRI, I already knew that, but that was it. It was a 3 minute office visit. Bam, $1,583 for that. Second visit was to explain the results. Again, in about 4 minutes, she says "Your son has "these 2 extremely rare conditions" do you have any questions?". I had no idea what they were, the only thing I could think to ask is what they were, to which she responded "They are brain malformations". And that was all she was willing to say. So that was the visit. Again, another bill for over $1,500. Thank heavens I was able to see a better doctor the next day. He spent over an hour with my son and I. He explained both conditions. And he set him up with 3 additional specialists. If I wouldn't have seen a real doctor I'd have no clue that he required additional lifetime care. Doctor Morita DOES NOT take the time to answer questions. My son has had 2 visits with her, totalling less than 10 minutes. I'm not being dramatic either. Both appointments were less than 5 minutes each. And it doesn't stop her greedy practice from charging over $1000 each time too. Our initial "consult" cost $1,015 and all she said was let's do an MRI to see what's causing your son's symptoms. No joke, that was the visit. So after the MRI, instead of calling me to give me the result, I HAVE to schedule an appointment so she can get paid of course. Again, in less than 5 minutes, she goes "your son has 'these 2 extremely rare conditions', so do you have any questions". So me, in my complete and total shock, try to come up with what questions I can in my extreme rush. Now mind you, I'm shook and can't think of much, especially since she didn't even attempt to explain what either condition meant. We left, with no plan of care, no explanations, nothing.

We moved from Las Vegas to SLC due to the difficulty in getting care for our son. Once we moved Dr. Morita was recommended to us and she has been fantastic. Healthcare providers like Dr. Morita made that move worth it. I would highly recommend her

We had an absolutely terrible experience when we arrived exactly 7 min late due to them not communicating with us that they moved their practice to an entirely different city and Dr. Moritta said they could only see one of my special needs sons for their dual appointment and the other they would be turning away due to tardiness. Even though they shared an appt and it takes maybe 2-5 more min to see them both. They were rude, offensive and spent infinitely more time arguing with us on why they wouldn't see both my severely handicapped children than just keeping appt. She saw them both after stating "I'll haveto go tell the next patient they will need to wait because we are accommodating you". 7 min late due to their negligence and we were treated terribly. This was simply a yearly follow up, all we needed was for her to glance at them, we didn't have any new issues or questions, she simply needed to look at them. We have seen many many physicians and have never been treated this way.

No. Just no. I do not reccomend Dr Morita or their staff.

I'm giving a lower rating because we didn't learn anything new besides what the pediatrician had already extensively examined and asked about/talked about/encouraged us to do for my child. When I asked why they thought the pediatrician referred us to the specialist, especially when we didn't obtain any new information or any conclusion for my son's very lengthy headache, the specialist said I would need to ask the pediatrician why they referred us. It just felt like the specialist was not interested in resolving or searching why my son was in pain. I'm guessing that wasn't the case because I like to believe in the goodness of people. But I felt like it was a waste of effort, time, and money. I also felt very disappointed and frustrated because I had previously taken my child to the pediatrician, and the pediatrician spent an hour with my child asking all questions relating to his diet, nutrition, habits, lifestyle, sleeping, exercise, anxiety, and everything she could think of. She said the next step was Pediatric Neurologist and that it was a usual success to get in for an appointment within 4-5 days. I understand it is a busy month with the holidays, so I wasn't hugely surprised not to get in the first week. But it took longer than 2 weeks... And my son had already missed 3 weeks of school due to his headache. I just felt hopeless and helpless. The appointment itself was a question and answer, plus a brief segment encouraging my child to get more sleep and eat well. There were no tests, no other referrals, and even a contradictory warning given to me about the headache medicine my son's medication management doctor put him on (for his headache). So all in all, it was a very frustrating experience with polite people that didn't really offer anything to the mystery of why my child was in pain. I'm not sure I could recommend the clinic or not. Based on how I felt, I wouldn't return. Based on a different type of headache, or a different type of problem, I might return. It all depends. The staff was polite, kind, and professional. Dr. Morita has see both of our boys for neurological issues. She is incredibly knowledgeable. She also takes the time to listen and answer questions. I would highly recommend her to any parent seeking help for their child.

My son began having seizures and everyone recommended we take him to Primary Children's Hospital, it seeming to be the golden standard for child care. We took him there for several visits and were unhappy with the quality of care we received. It took a long time to get an appointment, the office wait times were long, the office staff was not personable and we felt like just a number, and when I called with a question after my son had experienced another seizure they told me it would take 5 business days to receive a reply from the neurologist. This quality of care was unacceptable and I searched for another pediatric neurologist and decided to have my son see Dr. Morita. I was amazed at the different experience we had with Dr. Morita. From the beginning the whole experience was like night and day compared to Primary Children's. It was easy to get an appointment, the new patient process was orderly, and the doctor was on time and we didn't have to wait in the waiting or exam room. Dr. Morita was extremely personable and showed genuine interest in my son and his condition. She is knowledgable and helped us understand why the seizures were happening and what options we had for treatment. I appreciate how easy it is to communicate with her and her staff, and above all I appreciate that she treats my son like an important patient, not just a number. Dr Morita was very personable and works very well with pediatric patients. She is easy for the child to talk to, asks a lot of questions, gives a thorough exam and then explained all of our options. She gave us print outs of information and helpful ways to reduce the problem at home. She fully explained the medication options and how to handle side effects. Dr. Morita was fabulous with our daughter and took the time to listen to concerns and answer any and all questions we had. She gave a myriad of treatment options for her condition and pros and cons of each. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We have been working with dr Morita for about 3 years now and she is just amazing. The first time we made an appt she was booked out 3 weeks which was totally understandable. My daughter had a seizure that weekend so we went to primary’s where we had an eeg and mri down and the next day dr Moritas office called and got my daughter in that day! We are so grateful for how she listens to our concerns and allows us to be part of the treatment decisions!

Dr. Morita was so kind and attentive during a very scary time with our daughter. I'm so grateful for her.

She listened to me as a mom, answered all my questions and was very thorough with my child. She also gave me pamphlets and websites to help my understanding and knowledge on how to help my child.

She seemed to be very caring and listened as I voiced my concerns over my son. I like how there was a short wait time. Office staff was polite. I even had a follow up question I emailed her the next day. She responded within 24 hrs which was so appreciated!

Dr. Morita has been a god send to our family. She brings calmness into the chaos when we need it the most. We are truly grateful to her and how she treats our son.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars as she deserves 10 + Dr Morita is absolutely amazing we were referred to her from a family who’s child has a rare brain disease like my son for a 2nd opinion and let me tell you what I was so comfortable and very impressed with the care she gave me and my son. She is very hands on and takes her time to get to know the situation and to get to know you and your child as a person not just another case file, She listened to all my concerns and questions and answered very throughly and in a way I was able to understand she also explained more about my sons condition that I was not informed about with my other neurologist I was seeing, let’s just say I left her office with happy and grateful tears in my eyes and a weight lifted off my shoulder as I knew my son was in the best hands that he can be. I would and will always highly recommend Dr. Morita to anyone who is needing to see a neurologist for any reason as in my personal opinion she is the best in the state of Utah. She was patient and thorough, and I never once felt like I was a burden for calling in. My daughter had 2 ER visits and Dr Morita fit her into her schedule the day after we followed up with her pediatrician. Her staff is super friendly and helpful and the appointment was great. Dr Morita was very thorough and went through every possible angle. I was extremely impressed.

Dr Morita is very patient with families and she really cares about her patients. My son had a very extreme brain injury at birth and we just moved here back in October and was looking for a private practice pediatric neurologist and found her. I have called her after hours many times and she helps over the phone very much and makes you feel at ease. The staff is very polite and willing to help in anyway they can. Dr. Morita is amazing! When faced with a diagnosis of epilepsy for our child, she was thoughtful, caring, answered all our questions, presents the options available and empowered us to make the decisions that we thought were best for our child and situation. Even when we wanted to change treatment, she listened and supported our decisions. She never rushes us. Lots of Dr. can find themselves lacking bedside manner and compassion burnout. We have not experienced that with her. Every visit she is amazing and attentive. You have a lot of options to choose from, but I can not recommend Dr. Morita enough! Loved having her as a doctor for my son. She answered all our questions and i was even able to get in touch with her on the weekend when my son had an episode. I highly recommend her to everyone.

My children have a history of epilepsy. Dr. Morita has gone out of her way to help care for them, even calling at home to help check up and adjust medications. Her staff is also amazing at making room for emergency appointments.

Received bill for 305$ 5 months after my visit, she was in the room for 10 maybe 15 minutes after waiting in the room a while. She didn't even touch my child and now I have a bill for her to say oh it's a tick disorder a lot of kids have this and they grow out of it. Thanks

One of the best specialtists we've seen! A+ doctor We have been to a few nuerologists and MANY doctors for care for my daughter... Dr. Morita is a diamond in the rough! You get the impression she became a doctor because she acutally wanted to help, not for cash or prestige! Most, not all, male doctors we have encountered have been less than helpful or listened, and seem to be ego driven. I was impressed with her insights, her willingness to listen and entertain my worries and ideas, and most of all for her explanations!!! When I did bring up an idea that she didn't feel fit the situation, she explained in understandbale terms why she didn't think it applied, in a VERY conversational and kind way! We were recommended to meet with Dr. Morita from our pediatrician after we experienced multiple febrile seizures with our 1.5yr old son. She has gone above and beyond any expectation we had as we are learning more about febrile seizures and why he has so many per month. She has met with us in person, answered emails, and even answered a late night phone call from the ER. To follow up after our visit to the ER her office called us first thing the next morning and asked that we come in for an evaluation and follow up. She answers every question you have, even if you re-ask the same question. She gives you great insight and history of what is happening with your child and helps you feel more in control and gives you a better understanding. She does not force anything and does not refuse to listen to any idea that you have. I could not recommend Dr. Morita enough, she is highly respected with every other doctor we've seen and she lives up to that reputation. My teenage daughter struggled with migraines, after several visits to the pediatrician we were referred to Dr. Morita. She was very helpful, straightforward, and knowledgeable. When your child needs to see a doctor you want to see one who gives you the sense that they truly care. Of course, you might tend to be alarmed in the first place, if your child needs to be seen by a neurologist, but she helped me not to feel alarmed and gave me explanations that were informative while being plain-spoken. Dr. Morita is professional with a touch of warmth that is so rare amongst medical professionals. I trust her judgment and she respects me as the parent.
