Dr. Gruber has been my “Go To” Neurologist for over 15 years. She has always been very easy to talk to, is attentive to my concerns, explains things in a very down to earth manner. and has also been available for appointments within a reasonable time frame. Kudos to her New York City and Lake Success staff as well.
I would see Dr. Gruber when her father was unavailable, and I found her competent, knowledgeable, and willing to enter waiting room and patiently explain things to my wife. I can't recommend her highly enough. Her late father was phenomenal, and she seems to have picked up where he left off. I don't know if Dr. Michael Gruber's religion believes in St. Peter, but if it does, when he met him two years ago, I'm sure he told Dr. Gruber two words: "Well done."
Dr. Gruber is my beacon of light. I am proud to have her on my side and trust her guidance and knowledge. She is a catalyst in providing me with the tools needed for a better quality of life, for as long as possible, and for that I am grateful.
Dr Gruber did not know how to treat Lynch syndrome in Glioblastoma. A colleague of hers told me she is seeing tumor growth, she told us that he had a minor stroke. Three weeks later the tumor spread to the other side of his brain, he passed 1 month later. I always think why didn't I listen to her colleague.
