I had seen Dr. GiGi (nickname by which patients and office staff call her) for several years. She is an excellent psychiatrist, and arguably, one of the best in the area. The only reason I didn't give her a higher rating was because of her deplorable office staff who see themselves as more important than patients and as gatekeepers between the clinicians and the patients. One on occasion, I made a simple request of the staff, and they actually overruled the doctor. On another, when I simply asked for samples, they insisted that before getting the samples, I cut the ones I had in half, despite it being nearly impossible to do so because of the shape of the tablet. Again, I was caught in the middle between the office and my doctor. On another occasion, they insisted on passing on a question from my doctor and when I said I wanted to talk to my doctor directly, they ignored me! I finally got a new psychiatrist. If I were you, I'd get another office. You have to get the complete package.

This person was the least concerned about her patients I've ever seen a physician be. I needed her to complete paperwork for me to start my job and she refused to do it just because she "doesn't do paperwork". She might have cost me my job if I hadn't been able to find another physician quickly. I literally would have had my career threatened less if I didn't seek treatment, that's how bad she is. She also is clearly trying to upsell her patients to more expensive brand-name pharmaceuticals just because she's cozy with drug reps. Just a complete hack and untrustworthy. Just awful. Find a real doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Gigi for a few years, and she's the best psychiatrist in the area. She reads, thinks outside the box, is accessible, and unlike so many physicians, actually has humility. I feel very lucky to be working with her. The front office is an entirely different matter. Except for Terri, who is excellent, the rest of them are rude, arrogant, and act like clients are wasting their time because they are compelled to do their jobs. One of the receptionists actually refused to leave an appointment reminder message because my phone rang too many times! I noticed that by happenstance in checking the caller ID that the office had called and when I called back, the woman actually claimed that the phone had rung 20 times (!!!) before she hung up...and then she hung up before I finished talking with her. I would not pass up to see the clinicians as a result of this, but be sure to call them out if they act like this, and let the clinician know if you run into anything. A shame you have to run into something so unprofessional just to get good care.

Very disappointed with this office. I had 4 appointments and could not stand to have another. While Dr. GG is very knowledgeable about her field she is impossible to reach and she office staff is very rude. I was told to go to my pharmacy for a prescription that ended up never being sent. after calling her office 5 times over 2 weeks and getting stone-walled by the secretaries every time, I was told I could pay for another appointment to talk with her about it. when I came into the office to get my transfer papers signed they gave me a sample for 2 brand name medications and tried to sign me up for another appointment which I refused. She does not care if you get better, she only cares about the money and will only ever prescribe brand medications, if you even manage to get a script. Disgusting that someone could take advantage of people in desperate need like that and not even bother to try and rectify it. If you need Psychiatric help LOOK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Dr . Gigi is the only doctor that took a unconventional method and found the right path for me the first TIME. She not only heard my cry’s for help but really implied them when prescribing me the right meds for my specific needs. She absolutely incredible and i don’t know where i be without her

I continue to be amazed by the arrogance of medical "professionals" who feel they are entitled to keep patients waiting indefinitely without explanation or apology for the delay. This morning I had a 9:30 appointment with a new provider which had been been arranged by another care provider. I, like the good little person I am, arrived at 9:00 so I would have time to complete the required paperwork. I turned in my papers at 9:20. At 9:40, I asked the person at the desk how much longer it would be

She is always late for every appointment & talks about herself and her daughters the entire time. She is very unorganized and has accused me of losing prescriptions when she actually never wrote them. She has incorrectly written multiple prescriptions, causing me to have to go back & get new ones because of her errors. She also initially helped me get accommodations in college for extra time testing for my ADHD when I first started seeing her but suddenly told me she would no longer condone it.

After waiting an hour for both of the only two appointments I had, I was told she was in a meeting and needed to reschedule. I saw her walk to the front twice prior to this. Do not waste your time. Her office staff were the rudest people with whom I have EVER DEALT. They were even rude to my pregnant wife. No wonder she is the only psychiatrist in the area with openings.
