Dr. Deani Kay Iversen

Dr.Deani Iverson was the best doctor I could have! I was worried and nervous. She put me at ease right away with her gentle mannerism. She truly cared about my situation and explained everything she was going to do. She made sure everything was as painless as possible, asking me throughout the process if I was ok. I do not get impressed easily..this lady was amazing! I feel very fortunate that I had her for this procedure.

Dr Iverson is the best! Since the first time I saw her, she has been the most personable, kind and caring provider I have ever seen. She takes the time to really explain everything I need to know. I choose my health insurance based on whether she accepts it or not. I would rate her higher if I could!!

Dr. Iverson's patient service was a 10 to me. I had to find a new doctor, and she was available, and it was a situation which some of my recent test results needed additional attention, and not just a regular exam. Dr. Iverson was accommodating by doing the biopsy during the new patient examination.

I felt like Dr. Iverson took the time to listen and answer all my questions, and did not try to rush me.

Dr Iverson is VERY kind, professional, caring, compassionate, clean, and works with me to find a positive solution to my problems.

I felt very heard and validated. My concerns were addressed and taken seriously. Dr. Iverson is a genuine, personable, and compassionate provider.

Dr. Iverson is excellent, goes above and beyond in listening and providing information, and making one feel "cared about." It was just a long wait (several months to get on her calendar), but she is worth the wait (since nothing urgent).

Very very unpleasant experience with Deani Iversen. This doctor smirked and told me not to worry about my painful periods, severe belly swelling, and fibroids, and gave me pamphlets about menopause and fibroids. I felt very unseen and unhelped, though the desk staff was nice. The doctor though is cruel and narcissistic, smirking, totally dismissive. I was very upset. I went to another doctor, who ordered a test right away due to my symptoms, suspecting cancer. :( I do not recommend this incompetent white coat bully for anything.

I felt compelled to write this review to get Dr. Iversen's star rating up to the level she deserves and properly reflects her skills, approachability, and professionalism. I transferred to Dr. Iversen a few years ago after my gynecologist retired. All I can say is, I wish I'd found her sooner. She is so easy to talk to. She is practical and matter of fact without being distant and clinical. She makes talking about potentially awkward and embarrassing problems feel like chatting with a close girlfriend. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Have seen Dr. Iverson for years and wouldn’t consider seeing anyone else. She’s helped me through some tough issues, is an excellent surgeon and I trust her completely. She is thoughtful, professional and an excellent doctor.

Dr. Iversen may be a good doctor, but her team doesn't reflect that. She really has very inexperienced, unprofessional, lack of follow up/follow through office team at Good Samaritan in NW Portland. I'm still trying to figure out how any of the staff got their jobs. It makes the entire experience unsettling and non-reassuring in terms of receiving good medical care and ensuring my health. I'm high risk cancer and after 10 days had to call for my test results. Since they didn't know, I'm still waiting for a call back..It has been two days for a total of 12.........
