Dr. Dawn Erica Epstein

Terrible! I could not be more FRUSTRATED with Dr. Epstein and NW Billing! I have been trying for 8 months to get my sons bill straight with monthly calls lasting hours at a time! They took a "pre-payment" of $500 from me that they never applied. 7 months later I now get the prepayment applied and the remainder of my bill is sent to COLLECTIONS!!!! This is ridiculous! Service wise, Dr. Epstein changed an in person appointment to on-line after my son had already travelled to Chicago and taken the time an money to do so! HORRIBLE!

Dawn was a really great therapist for me. Of the several therapists I’ve had over the years, I think she was the most effective. She has a great ability to listen fully and make you feel fully listened to. She is skilled at providing consistently helpful feedback. She was not afraid to try different approaches to my issues until we found things that worked for me. I appreciate her perseverance in that. She never seemed to give up hope that my condition was treatable, and she was right. I am grateful I was referred to her and recommend her highly.

Intelligent, insightful, empathetic. Dr Epstein is the most helpful for me of six mainly good therapists over the past several years. She makes excellent use of mindfulness, CBT, etc., but isn't in the grips of one approach like some of her colleagues. She is able to draw on what works for you and build on that creatively. Dr Epstein gets that each of us has our own strengths, vulnerabilities, blind spots, scars, insights, pains, fears, hopes, needs, etc., and works with you to treat *you.*
